The staff is kind but this has to be the slowest and least efficient Starbucks I've ever been to.

I have never had a completely horrible experience at a Starbucks. We walked in - zero people inside - 7 employees and after about 5 minutes and no one even greeting us or offering to help us someone from the back finally emerged. The 6 people on the floor told the girl just coming on to help us. 2 drinks - 15 minutes later our drinks were ready - 1 iced coffee and 1 ice tea. Can't imagine what it would be if we got a frap! Bottom line - come here if you have an extra hour to burn waiting and don't mind rude employees. read more

I absolutely love Starbucks. In fact I have been a frequent customer at a location in Dublin on Perimeter Dr and they are fantastic. I typically order through the mobile app and it is always ready as soon as I get there, if not just minutes after I arrive. After visiting a location with such good service, I have been extremely disappointed by the service at a different Starbucks location not far from Dublin. I have been visiting the Starbucks in Powell on Sawmill Pkwy and the service has been extremely disappointing. I place my order ahead of time, and it typically takes me 15 minutes to get there. The last 2 times I have had to wait an additional 15-25 minutes until it was finally ready. Not to mention both times there was a large amount of people also waiting for their orders. It appeared like they hadn't checked the mobile orders in 45 minutes and were then trying to play catch up while also preparing for the drive thru. All in all, Starbucks is fantastic, but this location is not. Every location should be as organized and efficient as the Perimeter Drive location! read more

Worst costumer service ever. Do not go to this Starbucks if you don't have to. Even if no one is in line you will be waiting an excessive time for your drink. They are so so slow!! They have given me the wrong drink, and charged me for the wrong one. They also serve people behind you before giving you your drink first. I honestly will not be returning. Three times of a mistake is enough! I go to starbucks as a treat and I order the same thing always. White mocha frappechino. First time I went it took 3 times for them to get what I asked for made right. Second time I went the guy looked at me like I was dumb then turned around and added the coffee into it and blended it a little more. So this last time I got a Iced Coffee I asked for Extra caramel the lady even repeated it back. Get my coffee it says no caramel. I am not sure if talking to their co-workers is more important or what but I will NOT return. I will take my business to Kroger or Target or put the extra miles and go to Hilliard by my job. read more

This starbucks is generally always busy but they keep the line moving. When you place a mobile order it's usually ready within 3-5 minutes no matter how busy they are. Drive thru moves pretty fast. Order is right almost always. read more

i really dislike this starbucks I only go because it's close to my job. after a year and a half of coming here almost every single monday-friday i'm convinced they go out of their way to make my drink wrong. it's a very easy order. iced coffee with extra milk. there is always little to no milk. i'm always tempted to ask if this means extra to you what is light milk?? this is the only starbucks that does this. not to mention how SLOW the crew is here. i get service jobs, i work one. if you hate your job find a new one!! quit taking it out on your customers who pay for the product. going to gladly start taking my business elsewhere. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I LOATHE this Starbucks, and only go out of necessity due to close proximity. There are consistently a dozen people working, yet every mobile order takes 10-15 minutes longer than what's estimated, if you get it at all. I've had to ask employees if they even had started my order yet after waiting for 15 min once I got there. When I don't mobile order (because, let's be honest it's a photo finish with which one's quicker) I typically order black coffee + hazelnut with room for cream, and I'm lucky if I make it out under 10 min. I would say half the time they even forget to put the hazelnut in, and then say, "did you ask for hazelnut?" Yes, I asked for hazelnut. I've ordered this same drink 95% of the time for the last 15 years. I asked for hazelnut. God forbid you point out a mistake in your order. I hope you brought a poncho for the tidal wave of attitude coming your way. I even had one barista, who initially just ignored me when I came in, sludge over to the register to ring up 50 cents for the hazelnut that I ordered that the other barista forgot to put in. Hope you hit your step goal for that lady. There are maybe 2 employees that have ever been pleasant or nice. The rest spend more time eye rolling than making drinks. I've seen the counter hold up more employees taking breaks than baked goods. Lines are always super long, so if you have to go, maybe bring a magazine or a book, and keep your fingers crossed that they actually make the drink you ordered. read more

I am a Starbucks addict, and live in Cincinnati as well. I have been going to Powell Starbucks for awhile.. But every time I come home I find myself shocked at how awful this one has become. Not only was I there first customer at 5:30 am.. Only to hear the employee saying "oh my god a freaking customer kill me now this morning is going to be shit I can feel it" what a better way to start off my day right!? And every time I go I mean the drive thru you're looking at a solid 20 mins, inside is no better. Last time it took them forever the employee said to me about the car in front of me "sorry that guy is really rich and a regular so we like have to treat him well" ... I had some issues at Starbucks. First of all they took way too long to get my order and when the lady started to talk I basically fell out of my seat bc she scared me half to death. Then I ordered and proceeded to pull up to the window and she gave me a credit card machine... like what am I supposed to do with that? I was v confused to say the least. Could she not see I had cash in my hand? I am only 20 years old in what world would I have a credit card!??? After that conundrum she closed the window on me and I hadn't got my drink yet. My eyes started to tear up because I didn't know what was going on it was so rude. I waited there for about 5 minutes and then started having a panic attack because my drink STILL hadn't come out. Like what is going on in there? Were they having a dance party or stabbing each other with knifes? You never know with the Starbucks in sawmill. Anyways I went on with my panic attack and at this point I was sweating my butt off. Finally the lady came out with my drink. The worst part of it all is that she gave me a confused look like what was I gonna do just sit there and wait well I didn't know what was going on with my drink? I have been a regular (= nearly daily) patron of this Starbucks for at least 5 years - but no longer. Their service used to be great - fast, accurate, really friendly. The price is the price of doing business at a Starbucks! However, the last 4-6 months have been horrible. The drive-thru has been closed so many times it's ridiculous, and when it is open, it takes an unreasonable amount of time to be served. I have been given incorrect drinks many times recently but after waiting so long just to get it, I won't go back to get it corrected. If the drive-thru process is having problems and they want you to come inside, that would typically be OK, however the location is SO small inside that they don't have an adequate waiting area for ordering, OR pick-up. When I drive by and see so many heads standing around, I just leave. Don't know if their problem is staff, equipment, scheduling, or some combo - but it needs fixed.
