How have I not been to this Starbucks? Well, I don't drink coffee often, and the coffee drinker in…read moreour house doesn't like Starbucks. And I don't like them much either, with their froufrou sizes and drinks. But, it was handy today. It wasn't too busy on a Saturday morning. Girl Scouts selling cookies out front, which was a perk. I got a sausage/cheddar/egg breakfast sandwich, and a salted caramel cold brew because it was on their poster. Was the sandwich better than McDonald's breakfast sandwiches? Yes, actually. Good bread, good sausage, good cheese, a good egg. (Ha ha.) Was the coffee good? It was alright. Overpriced, as was the sandwich. But tasty, and I needed caffeine. It's not awful. But I'd much rather go to a local place, and I'd much rather pay less of a markup. Parking was easy. There is a drive-through but the line was nuts. Service was good. I doubt I'll be back, just because I rarely drink coffee and there's not much else to draw me here. But I had a good enough experience today.

Proceed to the window and get told - "the next time you order this many drinks you need to come inside" completely rude tone" mind you all these drinks were ready! I wasn't "holding up the line" I can't believe that this Alexis spoke to me like this or that she's even in a manager position!

I was excited to go here for brunch after hearing about it through the Cleveland Scene. It's at a…read morehome in Cleveland Heights, with a good ambiance. There was also a pianist, which was pretty cool. There weren't any dining tables, just normal house furniture (couches, chairs, a dining table the food was served on). All cool with me. However, the brunch is not what it makes itself out to be. The eventbrite listed it as a "lazy" brunch, open from 11am-4pm. We showed up at 12:30. When we arrived, there was a frittata (that had gone cold), some bacon, potato hash (again cold), and some crackers with cheese and cucumbers on them. There were several jams but no toast or anything to put them on. The only drinks were cucumber water and an "adult beverage" - no other info provided. Seriously no coffee? Ok. We were told there would be another round of food out soon and a few minutes later they put out a Swiss chard, strawberry, kohlrabi salad. There were about 20 people there, and it was a take what you can until it runs out type of deal. Eventually they made some more bacon. We kept waiting for the food described on the website/eventbrite menu (French toast, scrambled eggs, French toast baguette, Cleveland bagel crostini, garden breakfast toast, yogurt and fruit, fig cocoa fromage bite) - so we finally asked, not wanting to be impolite in someone's home, and were told they were done cooking - at 1:45pm. All I can say is it certainly wasn't as advertised and no other info was given upon arrival. I've cooked brunch myself for a fraction of the number of people and had much more food, of better quality, and I wasn't charging! Buyer beware. See pic for the "menu" that you won't be served.
