I was waited on right away and my drink was made in a few minutes. My barista was fabulous and the gentleman who waited on me was kind and helpful. The baristas are super uber nice here. They always get my order right and are fairly quick. What I really appreciate is that they are always happy to greet you and are very accommodating in ensuring that your order is just right. I recommend this Starbucks location bc there's been many dark and dreary mornings when I go to pick up my mobile order and I'm always consistently met with a smile and pleasant greeting. Great location, very standardized in the drink offerings and the flavor of the coffee. It is hard to find consistency among chains but they do a great job here. The service is also very kind, today my drink was iced even though I ordered hot and they fixed it quickly while also smiling and addressing me by name, a welcome change. This is surprisingly the dirtiest Starbucks in the DC/Metro area -- even though it services a very affluent neighborhood (Cabin John). If it's not the dirtiest, they are in a fierce battle w/ the Mid-Pike Starbucks in North Bethesda over the title. While waiting to order (and holding my breath to minimize the nasal impact of the visit) I overhead the Barista explaining to another customer that he'd "cut back smoking pot to the weekends".I was there on a Saturday, which probably explains why he missed half of my order. read more

Stopped by this location to get some cappuccino. The drink was well made and I have no complaints here. But the store was just messy and condiment stand was not re-stocked even though there were only a couple of folks in line for coffee. Walked in and was the only person in line. Stood there several minutes with no acknowledgement from an employee. 3 were behind the counter and two in uniform sitting on a high top across from register. Then an already served customer got up from behind her Mac -Starbucks cup in one hand cell phone in the other and was looking in the dessert case. Finally an employee walked over and I gave my order and she belted out she was NOT going to wait on me until the other lady made her dessert choice. Said dessert lady waved her off and then she returned to take my order. I told her two tall mocha fraps. She never gave me a total. Just stuck out her hand for payment. After I paid I said thank you and she looked at me like I was crazy and turned her back. I watched a young guy make my order. He made one tall mocha and put the blender in the dirty sink and ran some water in it. He handed me the one and I said I ordered two to which he responded he didn't know that. Then he grabbed the dirty blender out of the sink and didn't even dump the rinse water out and made another tall mocha. I was so disgusted I dropped both in the trash and will never go back. Far from my favorite Starbucks location. I frequent it only because it's a few minutes from my extended family, but otherwise I'd never set foot inside. The quality and consistency have always been suspect, and it seems to have an ever-rotating cast of high schoolers behind the espresso machines. It will do in a pinch. But seriously, Dunkin is like 100 feet away, so if you're feeling an iced coffee you should just go there instead. read more

This Starbucks is by far one of the worst locations. Employees are always displaying inadequately disrespectful service, and the line is never handled well, leaving you with an extremely long wait time. I cannot emphasize enough about the rude employees staffed at this location. I have been yelled at and spoken to with horrible demeanors and when reported to upper management, absolutely nothing was done because the staff still performed the same. So from that, I can draw the conclusion of overall lack of structure from upper management as well. My drinks have also been made incorrectly on numerous visits because of the ineffective service. It is my home store, and I travel further just to escape the unprofessionalism. I would also advise anyone else to not visit this store. You will be disappointed. read more

This place is always totally dysfunctional. I have heard this is a training Starbucks - and it shows. First of all, they have zero customer service. It's the only Starbucks I've ever been where they're actually rude to people. Second, they seem totally confused about how to make the drinks. Even on a mobile order for hot tea, it takes them 10 minutes to pour hot water on the tea bag. And they had to search for a long time for the honey as well. I have been to many starbucks in my time, this one, however, warrants a review. I probably hit up my starbucks craving once or twice a week and drive an extra 10 minutes just to go to this particular one. Worst customer service ever. Manager was rude. I have never seen such poor customer service. I tried to return a plastic cup, which I received as a gift less than a month ago and it broke. She wouldn't take it back because I wasn't given a gift receipt , when it was clearly faulty. (Honestly, who would give a gift receipt for a Starbucks cup?) By far the worst starbucks in the area. I go in daily and the other day, they had my order wrong and I didnt notice until I was in my car. I called back and told them, the lady on the phone said no problem, please come back and we will fix it. I said ill come back in the morning. In the morning i went back and told them.
