This is my favorite Starbucks. 1) It has comfy couches inside, instead of those uncomfortable chairs in other Starbucks, which makes sure you don't stay longer inside. But, I am glad it has comfy couches and seating areas outside. 2) My 2 favorite Lattes are the vanilla blonde latte and hazelnut latte. read more

This Starbucks is the worst . Super slow always and I mean ALWAYS backed up . They never have everything bagels at 7am in the morning they apparently run out every other day . They let you order it then when you are waiting they say "oh sorry no more everything bagels " This Starbucks stinks read more

I had a great experience at this location the staff were really friendly! I found my fav Starbucks holiday drink! The Cran-merry lemonade! Its tart and semisweet and just sooooooo good if you want a break from coffee, there is ample seating and a strong wifi connection for on the road work. The toffee bundt was a but too dense for my liking but the snowman pop, warmed sugar plum danish and penguin cookie were favs in my house! read more

The customer service at this location is honestly the worst. The staff have that stereotypical Gen Z attitude--like they've never had a real human interaction. The level of attitude is just ridiculous. I've given this place multiple chances, but I'm officially done with this location. read more

They sold me a smushed sandwich with the cheese and bread stuck to the paper. I was asked about five times how I want my coffee, then they forgot to make it and had to remake my sandwich. Just needs a little more quality control. I know it's busy but the people who are ordering at the counter need just as much service as the ones at the drive through. read more

I am dumbfounded. I arrived at Starbucks fresh and early this morning to pick up my morning beverage. I go to the drive thru and order as regular when the woman stops replying. As one does I drive forward because I thought the conversation was finished. As I get to the window the barista hands me my drink and YELLS at me for driving forward before she was finished speaking. Terrible customer service. read more

I'm a Starbucks fan for certain. If you shit on Starbucks it's either one of two reasons, (1) they spelled your name wrong and you're likely butt hurt or (2) the employee hates their job and treating you like poop is the side effect of that employees misery. Either way I can't dock Starbucks for either instance. Next time my name is misspelled I'll use the variation as an online handle. I get my Starbucks fix and I'm a happy camper regardless if the employee helping me never got laid the night before and is miserable, sucks for them! ;o) read more

I've been going here for the past 5 years and everytime I go I tell myself it will get better and it doesn't. The wait times are incredibly long for a coffee and it doesn't make sense because they always have 4-7 workers. Not only that, the past 3 times I've gone, my order has been incorrect. read more

Pompton Lakes Starbucks, after a year of poor customer service treatment that we have pointed out to the assistant manager, I am posting a review and will contact your regional manager. We had hoped to be able to continue to support this location. Many days we take a longer drive and go the Route 23 North Wayne location where we feel welcomed and the food and beverage never needs correction. Unfortunately, I live close to the Pompton Lakes Starbz, which is currently improperly staffed. The nasty employees are a couple of rude people that ruin it for the kind and helpful ones that are there. Some of the staff at Pompton Lakes don't care to read option changes and more importantly are not taught basic customer service skills. When I have complained about an incorrect order or my Venti hot drink being only 2/3 full or my LIGHT ice drink being ALL ice, they are either dour or critical and downright rude and never offer to remake a drink like the former staff always did. Pompton Lakes used to be a wonderful location that we would enjoy staying at and even made friends with some of the staff, meeting outside of starbz to enjoy hobbies together. Please get a new manager for Pompton Lakes who will hire skillful employees that appreciate good customers like us that spend over $25. a day there. In April 2016, a class-action lawsuit was pressed against Starbucks after multiple reported incidents of the company purposely underfilling their latte beverages to reduce milk costs. In March 2018, a California judge ruled that Starbucks must provide warning labels on all coffee products, warning consumers of chemicals that may cause cancer, a requirement by California law which Starbucks was found in violation. The chemical is acrylamide, a carcinogen byproduct of roasted coffee beans found in high levels throughout brewed coffee. After the first phase of the trial, Starbucks may be subject to civil proceeding penalties of fines up to $2,500 per consumer exposed over the last eight years. read more

So, I was having a terrible day and expected some good serotonin from getting a starbucks drink. I order a Mango Dragon Fruit, and when I recieve my drink it has NO DRAGON FRUIT PIECES, that's ok to run out, but they didnt tell me at the drive thru. This is what I got for 4$. Water with sugar. It didn't even taste like the actual drink. This was just outrageous. If they told me that they didnt have the dragonfruit pieces, I would of got a frap. This was 4$, a god damn water and sugar. What a disappointment, probably never going here again. read more

I work in Pompton Lakes and was thrilled that there is a Starbucks. The staff are wonderful and cheerful. The issue is that depending on who takes my order for my "London Fog latte" it will be perfect or as if I never made a specific request for ( extra vanilla pumps and to use whole milk) This happens more often than perfect. :( I will notify the manager as I do want to continue to support the business. read more

There's almost always a line. The drive through usually seems worse than inside, but I always mobile order to avoid the wait. Other than that, this is a pretty solid Starbucks. The drinks/food always taste great. It also seems like they have their ordering system down pat. Where I more frequently hear "sorry we're out of x" at other locations, this is hardly ever the case here. read more

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. My friend and I went to this location after we finished at the gym to study and do homework. We arrived at around 7:30 and ordered drinks then, and that was all we ordered. We stuck to our corner and stayed quiet while doing our homework. At around 9:00, the employees started getting rowdy and started screaming, but we paid no mind to it and continued studying. We left at 9:30, knowing that they closed at 10. We ordered nothing after those 2 drinks at 7:30 so we didnt bother them in any way. On our way out, we both said thank you and have a good night. As we were exiting, an employee started yelling "Kill yourself" repeatedly at us in response. It was unbelievably rude, especially considering we didn't require any of their assistance for the majority of the time we stayed there and did not bother them in any way. It's not like they couldve closed the store if we werent there anyways. I understand the feeling of a customer staying late, since I work in retail, but at least have the decency to talk about customers after they leave. Dunkin on top. read more

I was at this Starbucks with my friend. The manager with the blonde hair is nasty!! The person making the drinks with the brown hair started arguing with me infront of her boss and they did nothing. I also wanted 45 minutes for two drinks. I went up to the register about 6 times asking where my drinks were and or a refund. They are just nasty people at that location. Never going back! read more

I go to Starbucks every day on route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights and the people that work there are very nice and helpful. The last three days I have been in the Wayne area and have gone to this Starbucks. Day one I ordered a vente Frappuccino and asked for it not to be blended well because I like it's slushy and icy. I asked if they could give me a small cup of crushed ice in the side so I could add it to the frapp. I am anemic and a symptom of anemia is the craving to chew on ice. Everyday for the last 2 months I have ordered my frapp the same way. Day one in this location no problem...day 2 the girl working the drive thru snapped at me and refused to add a cup of crushed ice even if I was willing to pay for it because she said it would break their blender?!? I didn't know ice could break a blender but ok!!! All she had to do in that case is to add a little milk and blend some crushed ice and charge me but she refused to help me. Today I spoke to a really nice kid named Sebastian, he was about to take his break but kindly listened to my issue from yesterday and help me resolve my problem!! Thanks Sebastian I am sorry you have to work with such lazy miserable people!! read more

This Starbucks location awesome! To be honest, I have been to my fair of Starbucks over the past couple years. I have been to pretty much all of them within the area. This Starbucks was slow and the drive thru was down. The staff was pleasant and were moving as fast as they could and this location was immaculate including the restrooms. Definitely one of the better Starbucks I've been to. Only issue I had was my Frappuccino was all liquid not thick. I saw a previous comment about the slow service. Got to McDonald's it's quicker. You don't go to Starbucks for a quick drink. You're supposed to relax and enjoy your beverage and maybe a snack while surfing the net and talking to friends. So take that stick out of your butt and enjoy life a little. read more
