    Dragon drink
    Julia C.

Enjoying my dragon drink as part of the 50% off drinks on Tuesday's in July! This location has a good amount of seating and outlets so it's nice to do work here. Conveniently located on Pitt campus too. Staff was nice and my online order was prepared quickly

I love the design of the store. It's giving industrial vibes. It's very spacious and the staff is very friendly.I always order in store and wait is next to none. I will be back!

Citrus Green Tea Latte. Try it out!

I had to finally just write an updated review because quite frankly Starbucks has upped their game in my eyes. The staff is super friendly, no attitude anymore, and they are willing to give their opinions on drinks even when the lines are long. It is lovely. Yes, it is still crowded; yes, it is still loud; yes, the lines will still be long. I now stand before you and say so what. Do what I do---STARBUCKS APP. Yep. I just put my order in while on the bus and by the time I walk down there BOOM it is made and I just take it and walk out. This app is amazing. After 12 drinks you then even start earning free food and drinks!! How is that not the best thing ever? Ok. So the reason for the updated review is because of the Citrus Green Tea Latte. Picture this, a lovely lunch in Oakland is finished and I was asked if I would want some coffee. I am not the biggest coffee drinker but just thought, eh why not. The lines were short and since the person I was going with did not have the app I just went through the line like a "regular Starbucks customer" (;-) LOL.) The big sign hanging above the register spoke to me. Citrus Green Tea. YUM. I asked the staff member waiting on me his thoughts on the new bevvy. He said it was, "very citrusy and refreshing". My next question was about the sweetness. He assured me that it would not be overly sweet and I would enjoy it. Since I had a free drink coupon I thought, what the hell, I'll try it. I am honestly saying I am happy that I did. This is a seasonal beverage and I hope, AND PRAY. That they decide to keep it. It was refreshing and citrusy just like the staff told me. Basically, it was everything I have ever hoped for in a green tea citrus drink. I came back to the office and made four girls try it. Everyone loved it!!! (Good thing I got the biggest size!!!) I am looking forward to going back for more! Yum!!

It was your normal Starbucks I always think there prices are high for coffee but I have a gold card and my refills are free they changed the gold card rules so it's harder to get enough points for a free item. I always get a Trenta water to go it's filtered 10 times and keeps me hydrated.

    Pink Drink for Bunny-Mae Lowe

Sammy just made my day. I walked 2 miles in the heat for the new dragon fruit drink and when she saw how disappointed I was she offered me a few alt optuons that matched to the new one. She told me the Pink Drink was similar to the dragon fruit drink and So I settled on that. She comp'd my drink since it wasnt the one I walked all the way to get and it just made my day. Her eye shadow also matched my drink and she drew a bunny on my cup. She made my bad day so much better with her simple act of kindness. I have been dealing with so much lately. No car, barely any money to pay my bills so I wanted to just do something positive for me and get a drink. It seems silly but it was just something For me that i wouldnt have to share with my 2 kids. Life has been so hard on me but this one thing just gave me a positive outlook on my life and refreshed my whole outlook on my life. Thank you Sammy

After walking around the neighborhood, this one had seating, so we went inside. First, I'll say the coffee we tried was pretty good - a cappuccino and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The barista asked "for here or to go" and the drinks still came in a paper cup anyway despite us saying "for here". I really enjoy having a coffee in an actual glass/mug when I say "for here". The ambiance was a bit confusing... not really sure what they were going for in the space, things were a bit choppy and thrown together. Kinda felt like you were in someone's garage with cluttered items on rickety shelves behind the counter. Our barista was very nice, but an awkward moment occurred when they were ringing us up - barista asked for a tip but then told us not to put the tip on the credit card because the owner steals from them. We felt this was a little uncomfortable and gave some unwelcoming energy. We also tried a Nutella croissant, which was very good! I think this shop has a lot of potential with some changes to service and decor.

The first time I ordered an espresso beverage with the light roast option and what I received did not taste anything close to light. Both visits, staff were cold and acted annoyed with the questions I had about their beans/coffee offerings. I would recommend klvn and ghost coffee as superior alternatives. Was really hoping to like this cafe.

While I…read morethink Espresso a Mano has the better espresso drinks,* Constellation has fantastic pour over: You won't find a better selection of high-end coffee beans anywhere else in Pittsburgh, and no other cafe in the city comes close. The bean offerings are always excellent, varied, and carefully curated. Selecting among them may feel intimidating, but the baristas are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you don't have much or any experience with pour over coffee, you should make sure to ask them for suggestions, and they will guide you towards a good selection. If you are coffee snob with a rotating selection of extra-light beans on your kitchen counter... well you should still chat with the baristas and they can tell you all about what they offer, what tasting notes to expect, what they are excited about, and so on. I am in the latter category, and I always enjoy chatting with the baristas here and learning about their coffee. I also appreciate that, in the summer, you can choose to have a Japanese-style iced pour over (the one that's brewed hot directly onto ice). You don't find that often in cafes, and certainly nowhere else in Pittsburgh. Besides coffee, the ambiance is great. There is not much traffic, so it's a pretty calm place to sit down and work or read a book. I love sitting at the large table in the back room for a few hours and working from there, while enjoying a cup or two of different pour overs. Overall, we are lucky to have Constellation . While Pittsburgh can't compare with the "third-wave" coffee scene in cities like Seattle or Vancouver, Constellation can certainly compete with the best cafes in such cities. *The espresso here is also great, don't get me wrong, especially when they offer a light roast. But I just like the one at Espresso a Mano better. I do wish Constellation offered an espresso flight; given the variety of beans they offer, that would be a unique coffee-drinking experience.

The reason is simple: It's the best espresso in Pittsburgh. Both the plain espresso and the milky drinks (at least the macchiato and cortado, I don't generally enjoy cappuccino or latte) are executed perfectly and taste great. I like the espresso so much, the beans I use for my own espresso at home are always from here. I also enjoy the ambiance at this cafe. In the summer, I love to sit at the long bench by the entrance and watch the traffic outside while enjoying the sun. And in the winter, the interior feels very cozy and is a great place to hang out and chat with a friend. They also display art from (I believe) local artists, and you can buy pieces you like. I have not tried any of the baked goods or non-espresso drinks, so I can't comment on those first hand--though my partner did try the hot chocolate and was raving about it. But when it comes to espresso, come here for a good cup; as I said, it's the best espresso in Pittsburgh.

Sad to say that I did not taste the black sesame syrup at all, which is actually one of their house made syrups. My peppermint mocha was okay- had some peppermint flavor to it but def not ground breaking. Space is pretty limited to about 9 tables in a little section. It's mainly a table with 2 chairs. I did see one outlet on the wall at the far corner. There is like 3 chairs that face the window.
