This Starbucks location has definitely made strides to improve since they first opened a few years ago. I used to avoid this location because some of the employees just didn't provide friendly service. They still have a long way to go, but I appreciate the effort. I'm more willing to come here now since the closing of the Hillsdale Starbucks (was my favorite store), and that one of my favorite baristas from that location is now at the Park Ridge store. During yesterday's Starbucks run, I was pleasantly surprised to have had such a polite cashier and speedy service. Going back to improvement, although the staff was super friendly yesterday, my drink wasn't made how I ordered it. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, and I still left very happy, but drinks need to be made to the liking of the customer. I am absolutely going to come here again, and I hope the Park Ridge Starbucks continues to improve as they have been. read more

I travel locally for work a lot so I go to a lot of different Starbucks and unfortunately the one closest to where I live (this one) has the absolute rudest employees I've ever encountered. I really have never experienced this type of rudeness at any other Starbucks I go in today, grab my drink they left out on the designated order ahead area, and the one worker "Monte" barks at me me rudely " what's the name on your order?" I said politely my name and then she said ok. It was like she was accusing me of taking someone else's drink. She did this with no one else that came to grab their drink for order ahead. I also ordered extra caramel drizzle which I paid for. There was next to none inside but some on the side of my cup. So could have done without the sticky mess but I do understand they were busy . The coffee tasted super burnt and awful too and this is my usual order. Finally, the second part of my order wasn't there yet which was a chocolate croissant. they continued to make others after that came in after me. When I still politely asked if it was being made I was told " it should be" by one employee and then another asked me when I ordered it. Again it seems I was being questioned I even ordered it. I showed him my receipt on my app. Eventually several minutes later after another employee comes by and lets him know someone left it on top of the pastry case. The incorrect and awful tasting coffee and the pastry mishap would honestly be fine, I understand they were busy and I do feel for them when it gets crazy in there. But what I will not tolerate is a nasty attitude especially when I am nothing but nice. At this point I find it worth it to go out of my way to the Old Tappan location where they are the absolute sweetest or the DePiero farms location. Nanuet drive thru is another excellent location as well they are so nice. Hey Park Ridge, maybe id tip you like I do those locations if you weren't so damn rude. read more

Probably one of the best Starbucks in Bergen County. There is ample space for remote workers at the tables, plus a large group table in the back. High tops and sofa chairs are around as well. By far one of the cleanest Starbs I have personally been to. The staff moves very quickly and efficiently. They were all very friendly and accommodating. read more

Consistently late with orders. They don't say the order names when they put out drinks so everyone has to look since they don't say who the drink is for. Really nice experience visiting the Park Ridge Starbucks this past Saturday. They have an impressive space size, unfortunately, it isn't being utilized due to COVID. I had a great experience ordering with Kelly and the rest of the staff, everyone was super friendly. They all seemed to know many of the guests that came into the store. Definitely the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Super rude. Very slow at making drinks. I ordered a Bacon Gouda sandwich and received it without any bacon in it at all. Everytime I get my strawberry refresher here it just tastes like complete water. If you try to bring it back they will roll their eyes at you! I just started going to this location because it's on my way to work and I'm so happy I found it. The staff are really nude and friendly! The drinks come out good & there is never a line! I go during the morning between 7:45 and 8 which is prime time in the morning for coffee. Also in a big parking lot. Great location. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks for months and never had any problems but this past month a new female/femme presenting worker made fun of my mobile order and claimed they were giving me a "grande instead of a venti" because I ordered light ice. They didn't realize the person ordering it was right there and she was making jokes in store very loudly. The drink came back half full as well even though it was a large. I get hating your job but making fun of orders is highly disrespectful and caused a panic attack for me (disrupting the whole reason I do mobile orders in the first place-social anxiety). So glad a "real" Starbucks has opened in this immediate area--it sure beats the ones in the Park & Ride and the one attached to the other Acme by a long shot. Plenty of seating it seems, friendly staff, and actual competence in handling Starbucks cards/apps and completing your orders. I haven't been here when it's been super busy, so that may add to good feelings. Located in a strip mall with Acme, Staples, pizza place, and deli, there's always plenty of parking. read more

This is my go-to starbucks and I absolutely love it here. I've never had a bad experience and everyone is so friendly. One side note though- they should review the refill policy because every time I try to get a refill I'm told something different by different people. In the starbucks refill policy itself it states you could get a refill in any iced or hot coffee tea or cold brew regardless of original drink, meaning I can buy a latte first and get a coffee as a refill. Some baristas however have told me that I have to buy a coffee in order to get a coffee refill which is false. But aside from this everything in the store is absolutely amazing. read more

I hate to post something like this to somewhere I would typical go locally, but I avoid this place and would happily go further to get my order correct. About 2 years ago a management change was made and since then this place has gone to s**t. I've ordered tea and, (get ready for this), it was made with coffee! ( how do you pour coffee on a tea bag and think it's an innocent mistake and how do you not realize that you screwed up royally and still serve it?!!). I've ordered a venti tea and found out I have two different tea bags in the tea, not even the same kind!!? One was earl grey and the other English breakfast. The barista literally grabbed whatever he/she saw fit as a second tea bag and hurled it in without a care. The place closes when it feels like it and I'm not talking about a couple of hours, I'm talking about days, yes days. No longer open on the second Sunday in February because people don't care to show up. Wednesday, nope, not happening, screw your caffeine needs. Oh want a pastry or a sandwich, go two towns over where someone remembers how stock forecasting works. It's f**king hunger games for a sandwich on Saturday mornings. Damn it's bad. read more

Thank goodness there is a Starbucks near by but the service is less than desirable. I've never been to a slower Starbucks! Ever! I do, however enjoy how large the location is and that the front and back are divided with large tables to do work. This Starbucks is by far the best! The manager, Kelley, makes it a point to say hello to everyone that walks in. She also takes the time to interact with my son when he is trying to order his own passion tea lemonade "red juice." The team that works this store always go above and beyond and makes you feel like you have been coming for years. And as in true Starbucks fashion, the store itself is clean and bustling with people. I love this Starbucks mostly because the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Kelly, the general manager, does an outstanding job with training, customer service, and making sure the store is always clean, well-organized and well-stocked. She has an amazingly upbeat personality that lifts my mood each and every time I go there. I've also observed her dealing with customers (who through no fault of the employees, were rude and difficult) in such a way that resulted in all parties feeling better about the situation. All of her staff goes above and beyond, from Yomara who makes all customers feel welcome with her exuberant personality, to Carrie who brings a warm smile and interesting conversation to the table. Additionally, all 3 of these women as well as all the rest of the employees prepare the drinks really well and Ins timely fashion. The staff makes them to order and completes them in a timely fashion. 2) The size of the Starbucks and abundance of parking make this location much more appealing than the Hillsdale location. 3) The only reason this location is receiving three stars comes down to the few interactions I've had with who seems to be the shift "Manager". The tone, delivery, and sarcasm he displays is on par with that of a 12 year old who didn't get their way. The rest of the staff is beyond pleasant, and welcoming. They are the reason we come back. I hope this shift "Manager" learns how to supervise and show respect or he won't have a team to manage in his near future. I've seen him disrespect his staff and customers on multiple occasions, the next instance will prompt me to make a comment in return. For the most part, this is a great location. Clean, well-stocked, and great staff. EXCEPT for the idiot with the mohawk. He acts like he's putting on a performance. He never makes a drink correctly. Very large Starbucks (basically the size of 2 stores into one). With that being said, lots of seating available and spacious (I'm not bumping into people). I'm extremely happy that a Starbucks opened in Park Ridge, especially in Ridgemont Plaza since there is copious parking and it's close to my house. Before this Starbucks opened, I used to have to drive to Hillsdale and deal with parking in that area. I haven't yet had to wait on a long line to order a drink here since there seems to be a lot of baristas always working. My drinks have tasted like typical Starbucks drinks, so generally good. The only downside to this Starbucks is that there isn't a drive thru; however, like aforementioned, there's a private lot with lots of parking spaces! read more
