I've been here three times now and all over building his new the employees are not new to Starbucks. They had a couple of bumps on their first week or two of opening but things seem to be going pretty smoothly right now. The parking lot is still under construction so it's a bit of a warzone outside. But the inside is clean well-kept well-stocked and everyone seems genuinely happy to be working here. So far I haven't ordered anything really I just straight-up mocha lattes and they seem to have the recipe down pretty good. I did work all on their first weeks here we're screwing up food orders left and right were giving out free food which was a nice added bonus having to wait a little longer than normal for a coffee. I love this location. It's newly built in concord/painesville right off route 44 from i90. Great quick stop from the freeway. It's in a plaza with great restaurants. Stores are currently being built. Check it out! Staff is polite and fast! There is a drive through but I can go in and be out in less than 2 minutes! They have Nitro cold brew here! I learned today that not all locations have it. The locations in Mentor don't FYI. This one does. Get it it's so good and smooth. There is plenty of seating and the windows bring in natural sunlight. It's in the perfect position. Service is very poor. Drive thru randomly gets closed for no reason, no customers. I go inside to order. The person on the register is very pleasant and friendly. 5 other employees standing around chit chatting and not making my order. They started making Door Dash orders. I'm the only customer, I'm confused. One employee making a DD order spilled coffee all over the counter, where you pick up your drinks, never wiped it up. I waited 14 minutes for them to make my coffee. They love standing around and talking with each other and not working. The day before, in the drive thru, my drink came out completely incorrect. Random closing again. I have to go inside for them to remake it. They are very involved in conversations and not their jobs. read more

Every time I am in Concord, I have to stop at the Starbucks on Crile Rd. I have been to many Starbucks in the area and I have to say that this particular store goes above and beyond expectations. I love that this location is close to me. I'm most especially happy tho that this location carries nitro brew. Not all locations do. However, the machine has been broke more often than not recently.. other than that, the employees at super nice and friendly. Don't get alarmed if some use the video chat in the drive through and others don't. It definitely caught me off guard my first rimes. This is consistently one of the worst locations I've been to. Unfortunately it's the only one around on my way to work. Every time I order an iced coffee the entire cup is filled with ice. I've watched them prepare my drink and they start by filling the cup with ice...not the correct recipe. I previously worked at a Starbucks for 6 years. I get that they are busy and I am mindful of the fact Covid has impacted businesses. This is just a lazy practice which leaves me feeling frustrated about spending $4+ on a cup of ice. I really had high hopes for this new location but so far, it's been pretty lack luster. I've been drinking Starbucks coffee for a long time and for some reason this store has a big issue with consistency in drinks. I order the same drink all the time; an Iced Carmel macchiato with an extra shot of expresso -- a staple in their menu & not anything "crazy". Well for as many times as I have gone, I don't think I've ever received the same drink 2x. I never used to order the "extra shot" but I was finding that my drink was too milky -- so I thought adding the extra shot (at a 60¢ increase) would help, nope! Still too milky. I've asked for light milk, 2 extra shots etc and no resolve. I don't like paying $6.50 for a big glass of milk with barely any expresso in it. So If I go to this location, I stick to just an iced coffee now b/c it's pretty hard to mess up a plain black coffee. I also think (not confirmed since I don't work there) that this store has a high turnover rate which might be why there's such an inconsistency -- every time I go, it's different people. I've only seen 1-2 people more than 1x. Lastly, they always seem to be out of stock on something - protein powder, kids milk, protein boxes, muffins etc... which is a pain when you order on the app b/c the store will issue you a store credit refund vs a gift card. You can't add the "store credit" card to your Starbucks app - which then forces you to wait in line (drive thru / inside) for your order when you use that card. Not something I'm a fan of since the wait times are always 10-15 min. I like the ease and convenience of ordering on the app. which also eliminates the long wait times. Inside is a typical Starbucks: a big table for meetings, smaller tables and comfy chair to relax or meet up with friends. There is a nice little patio outside to enjoy your drink outside. Decent retail space for cups/coffee and clean restroom. It's decently close to the freeway which makes it an attraction for travelers. read more

This is the worst Starbucks drive thru I have ever been to. The wait time was 15 minutes in line with a total of 5 cars in the line. I thought it might've been a bad day and I will usually give the establishment the benefit of doubt the first time. But I went again and received the same wait times with less cars in line. I know this Starbucks is new in the area and may still be working out the kinks, but until they speed up their service I will continue to leave 1 star reviews. As an update to this review the drive thru is better but they always mess up my order. I'm starting to understand why the line in the drive thru is so long with so few cars. Most people are probably checking their drinks before they drive away. This particular Starbucks cannot get it through their heads no matter how many times I order an iced coffee with nothing added I always dive away and sure enough they put sweetener in it. Why???? I specifically ask for grande iced coffee BLACK. No sweetener please. Never fails. I'll just have to test my drink before driving away and annoying every driver behind me. read more

Stopped here on my way up north because it seemed to be the closest Starbucks off the 90 when the coffee-need hit. Service was fast, efficient and with a smile. The restaurant was also very clean and so were the restrooms. I drank my coffee inside the restaurant and it wasn't loud and was very mellow. It appeared the majority of people coming in had pre-ordered and were just picking up orders. I'm not from this state, but if I end up passing through the area in the future, I'd definitely come back. read more

Asked for my order plain. They made it with milk and then dumped it out. I saw them remake it in the same cup. I pointed out I have a lactose allergy. "I rinsed it out". My unit ordered a box of coffee with uber eats from crile rd starbucks. I called ahead to ask for a large half and half to be added since we never have any on our floor. This is by far the worst Starbucks in the area. If you choose to bring your own mug through the drive-thru to save a cup -- beware. Employees will make your drink in a disposable cup and lid and then trash both after pouring the contents into your mug. There is consistently trash all over the parking lot and they removed their recycle bin because they were too lazy to sort out garbage that customers throw in due to poor signage. I've found my new work spot ever since having to give up my last one. The people (baristas and customers alike) are always nice, they usually spell my name correctly, the bathrooms are clean, and there is a ton of seating surrounded by outlets (jackpot!). Being a corporate chain, the quality of menu items is basically the same as most other Starbucks locations, so I can't really review that. All in all, great place. I've been to Starbucks in California mainly and elsewhere probably a thousand times. The best thing about most places is that the staff are invisible, innocuous, and completely about service. The Concord Starbucks is not a bad location - in fact it is the first of the general area at the outer edge of Cleveland metro area, getting well out into the eastern reaches. The interior has a very industrial design, which is not bad to work in, in a somewhat struggling plaza that should rebound with now a Chipotle and other offerings. The tables are comfortable, and the usual California communal table is now placed in one corner. The internet functions well, coffee and other drinks meets the standards. Staff is populated with the usual younger Starbucks baristas. Possibly because of uniqueness of the Starbucks in the area, the staff are a bit heightened in their attitudes of self importance. In California, the Starbucks is chill, the staff are innocuous, almost transparent.. everything is chill. This Starbucks exudes and reveals the stupid banter of the young staff to a perhaps too high of a degree. I get it, its a Starbucks, what an opportunity. But, the customers would rather not hear your silly chatter, which at times feels like the customers are perfectly ignored. Nobody cares that you feel happy or sad or for your flirtations amongst each other.. just chill out and lower the volume. Perhaps over time, this will fade away and alas - a chill Ohio Starbucks. read more

This is my LEAST favorite Starbucks. My order is always wrong, not to mention if your drink tastes different than what you are used to then it's because they skimp out in ingredients...compared to the STARBUCKS on Mentor ave they put less of everything in the drinks.
