Best latte I've ever had! Super nice staff and love the atmosphere! Could be a little larger inside but the size is cozy. Very impressed with the presentation!

Finally a real coffee shop in Mentor!!! We were excited to check out a new coffee shop and were hoping it would be better than what was in its place before and we were very surprised! We got lattes that were actually flavored and steamed correctly. The place is very nice, luckily the previous owners remodeled it and they kept the same style which was a very good idea. They are even extending the deck outside for more seating which is a genius move! They have a quiet conference room in the back as well for meetings or work. We spoke to Karissa and the owner Austin and they were so nice! I was impressed at their knowledge of the craft coffee industry and they are not a fast food sugar shack coffee shop like Starbucks, Dunkin or even the new Human Bean. What I'm most excited about is the coffee roasting classes Austin is planning to do! For years we have been wanting a true craft coffee shop in Mentor and finally it's here so we don't have to drive like 30 minutes away for quality coffee! Looking forward to the coffee community Calico Jack brings to Mentor and finally grow my hobby and love of coffee. If you're in town and want quality coffee with very friendly service then this is the place for you!

Really cute atmosphere. Decent service. Drinks were a little cold and we wish the pastries were locally sourced or freshly prepared. Overall worth a try if you're in the area!

I always enjoy coming here, the staff is friendly, the coffee is fantastic, and the bakery items are delicious. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, making it a great place to work or read a book. Definitely recommend!

Ok they are nice people. Place feels cramped. Chai was nothing special. They need to add more food options.

Tastes like coffee i could have made at home. Unimpressed. The people were nice but it lacked what a true coffee shop should have.

Julie, the owner, along with the wonderful baristas--Lexi, Sammy, Natalie, and Amy--create an atmosphere that truly feels like community. If you stop in, you have to try the Fluffer Nutter crepe. It's my personal favorite, and it never disappoints. Pair it with a good cup of coffee and you're set. The shop itself has such a comfortable vibe. Soft music plays quietly in the background while the front area is filled with tables and chairs perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. In the back, there's even more seating--including a cozy couch and two chairs that I honestly wish I owned. What keeps me coming back, though, is the loyalty and care these ladies show to their customers and community. You can feel it the moment you walk in. If you enjoy great coffee, delicious crepes, and a welcoming place to sit and stay awhile, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.

I knew that was a lot of people to come in all at once and I did not want to overwhelm her or the ones helping her make crepes that day. She was very accommodating and said that she would make sure that there were 2 crêpe makers there to be able to handle the group. We explained that we were doing a Flash Mob Dance at the Lighthouse down the street and could not get to her restaurant until a little after 1 o'clock. ( Yes I wrote a review for the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse and Museum that talks about what happened !). Since she usually closes at 2 o'clock on Saturdays, she said she would close to the public at 2pm..., but leave the restaurant open for one more hour so that we could all be there together and visit with each other! Now that is good Customer Service! The two girls that were making the crêpes did a great job! Everyone loved the crêpes and the cozy cute vibe. Many that were in our group had never been to this restaurant before - so we were happy to introduce them to this super cute restaurant in Fairport Harbor! Thank you, Julbeans's Coffee and Crêpes for helping make this anniversary celebration of success!

There were some other people playing a card game at the other end of the table. There's also other tables and couches around. I also liked the separate kind of game room in the front, seemed like a great place to host a small book club or meet with friends. As I was scanning the menu to make my drink selection, I felt the eyes of both baristas staring at me the whole time. I kind of felt out of place or like an outsider for some reason. Maybe it's just me, but it made it uncomfortable. The coffee selections were pretty basic and I don't remember any food options but I wasn't looking either. It does seem like a comfortable place to chill with a drink or get work done, especially with all the couches, but it was a little too dark and somewhat odd to me.

Tucked away in a non-descript strip center on Mentor Ave. in Painesville, Ohio; this beautiful Middle Eastern cafe/bakery/coffee shop is a real jewel. It is very nicely appointed, with plenty of seating, and plenty of room. The marvelous display case faces you as soon as you enter. And it has some of the most amazing offerings you will find outside of the Mediterranean community. The coffee and beverage offerings are everything you would expect, plus many selections you would never anticipate. And the pastries on display are absolutely beautiful just to look at... Like art work. Your eyes will be screaming at you to buy it all and eat it immediately! My wife ordered an iced coffee with a pastry that was a combination of chocolate fudge and pistachio cream topped with a drizzle of caramel. So decadent... so wonderful! I had a fantastic Pistachio Latte (amazing) with something I have never seen outside of Sicily - "Frutta Martorana". It is a fabulous Arab/Sicilian pastry treat designed to look like real fruit. And it tastes like the fruit it looks like (see pictures). All I can say is, be hungry and be ready for desserts you have never had before. It will be an amazing experience. I very highly recommend "Blue Bee" to you. You must try it.

Yeah, it was quite far and out of the way for me in Solon but it was worth it! BF, child and I ordered a peach fruit mousse cake (the viral ones on instagram!), 1 feta cheese + olives pie, 2 chicken pies, 3 pieces of baklava, 1 piece of honeycomb cake, Lotus decaf latte. My favorite was the honeycomb cake. Wow, they warmed it up and drizzled honey over the puffy bubbles of dough, sesame and cream cheese! Soooo good. I was so pumped to try the mousse cake and think I overhyped it. It honestly was not worth $13 and I enjoyed the Chinese viral fruit ice cream pops better. My daughter liked the chicken pie the most! It was spiced perfectly with some sweet peppers inside and minced chicken. The baklava was the best I've ever tried--flaky, sweet, the right texture and perfect. But gotta say each tiny piece (square inch or 2) was $3 each! It's a baklava racket but I've never had better, lol. Everything was really expensive, like, even more than Korean bakery prices! But everything was so unique and yummy. I WILL be back. The edible dessert chocolate cups were out this time so maybe I could try it next time.
