This is a Christian Coffee shop that serves microwaved Jimmy Dean sandwiches, and coffee in styrofoam. If you're into that, more power to you.

Peppermint white mocha and cookies and cream milkshake for the win!

After our appointment at the Cleveland clinic we decided we would take a mental health day and go to Niagara Canada. Once we left I decided I needed some coffee to offset the fatigue and dreary weather. We found this quaint little shop on our route and decided to stop. Our favorite thing is they had both coffee and ice cream! I love coffee and my husband loves ice cream so it was the best of both worlds for us! It was also the perfect mid day snack to accompany our drive into Canada before dinner. We would gladly stop in if we are ever in the area again! We would also take some time to walk the street with the cute shops!

My nephew was running at The Spire Institute and we had a lot of time to kill. My friend raved at this little coffee shop in downtown Madison called Open Door and I knew we needed to check it out, I'm glad we did. It was great! A big open space with lots of comfy chairs, tables and wifi Open Door is built for relaxing, chatting, studying, reading and hanging out. The colors are bright and comfy. It felt a bit like hanging out at home. The barista was super friendly and helpful as we navigated the small yet varied menu. She was willing to go off the list for me to get my cafe au lait with sugar-free caramel syrup. My mom went with a large mocha and said it was delicious. They also have whole beans for sale in a variety of tasty roasts and flavors. We also treated outselves to one of the yummy-looking pastries from Bliss Bakery. I had the orange brownie and she had a chocolate no bake cookie. Both were amazing. Also on the menu were sandwiches and homemade soups. If I am ever back in the area I hope to get some more time at Open Door with a good book or a good friend.

Any time I pass through Madison, Ohio, this coffee shop is one of my favorite stops for a cup of refreshment with a splash of fellowship. Whether you're a local regular customer or an out-of-towner just passing through, the staff will make you feel welcome. I have ordered several things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed! Service is friendly; the shoppe is clean! There is even a Library on the honor system if you'd like a little mental stimulation to accompany your java.

The Mexican Custepec coffee hit the spot. Great stop in from our road trip. Wish we had time to hang out.

Today I had "The Cadbury" *beams* because hey! It's almost Easter and Cadbury, bunnies, you know... Wow was that awesome. I paired it with their Tomato Quiche Pie. Which, good lord- was probably one of the best breakfast items I've had anywhere! The crust was buttery and perfect. The quiche was so good- I almost ordered another one. It was that perfect. I need to mention I came here a week ago to snag a to go coffee- and I had the Butterbeer. A butterscotch dream mocha creation that I had to mention. Yes folks- their creations are stellar. Every month there's new ones and I'm pulled like a frigging tractor beam to see what they've got! I always stop by here. It's so perfect. whether I dine in or grab and go- there's wonderful kiddo's who are always so polite. They have their own coffee for sale and they have some stellar flavors, I keep meaning to pick up a few.

Julie, the owner, along with the wonderful baristas--Lexi, Sammy, Natalie, and Amy--create an atmosphere that truly feels like community. If you stop in, you have to try the Fluffer Nutter crepe. It's my personal favorite, and it never disappoints. Pair it with a good cup of coffee and you're set. The shop itself has such a comfortable vibe. Soft music plays quietly in the background while the front area is filled with tables and chairs perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. In the back, there's even more seating--including a cozy couch and two chairs that I honestly wish I owned. What keeps me coming back, though, is the loyalty and care these ladies show to their customers and community. You can feel it the moment you walk in. If you enjoy great coffee, delicious crepes, and a welcoming place to sit and stay awhile, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.

I knew that was a lot of people to come in all at once and I did not want to overwhelm her or the ones helping her make crepes that day. She was very accommodating and said that she would make sure that there were 2 crêpe makers there to be able to handle the group. We explained that we were doing a Flash Mob Dance at the Lighthouse down the street and could not get to her restaurant until a little after 1 o'clock. ( Yes I wrote a review for the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse and Museum that talks about what happened !). Since she usually closes at 2 o'clock on Saturdays, she said she would close to the public at 2pm..., but leave the restaurant open for one more hour so that we could all be there together and visit with each other! Now that is good Customer Service! The two girls that were making the crêpes did a great job! Everyone loved the crêpes and the cozy cute vibe. Many that were in our group had never been to this restaurant before - so we were happy to introduce them to this super cute restaurant in Fairport Harbor! Thank you, Julbeans's Coffee and Crêpes for helping make this anniversary celebration of success!
