The disrespect and arrogance of the young man who was giving me trouble was disappointing. I walked away from him thinking someone else who I always see might be a friendlier experience. I've met the lovely owner Lorie and her sweet candy maven (ugh I hate when I can't remember her name- sorry doll!) It's a fun little stop for a treat or some of their dangerous fudge! Let's talk a little about the treasure boutique inside called Wildflower! Omg. Ok, so my kidlets think whatever I like is just not cool. Then, my oldest strolled in with me and not only loved the chocolates- but near everything at Wildflower boutique. She *had* to have this super cute patchwork jacket, loved the distressed overalls, some of their cute tees, etc. I was thrilled! Something in common with my kidlets!!! My youngest liked the little handmade cat items- it's constantly changing. So another reason to venture into Marianne's is the Adventure of "Wildflower!" Super cutie cute cute!

The store has a cozy, old-world charm with shelves stocked full of European imports -- everything from cured meats and cheeses to chocolates, breads, spices, and pantry staples. Imports originate from Poland, Ukraine, and predominately Russia. This store has the most authentically Russian products in all Cleveland. This store has hard to find items like Siberian teas, pinecone jams, and certain types of butter. I was surprised to see some products and brands I haven't seen before that looked very tasty. There are no prepared foods (aside from fish steak) or deli. The store is very clean and well maintained. I purchased a variety of Siberian teas, dark chocolate, and Bounty chocolates.
