I just love Marianne's Chocolates! It's a cute little stop on the Harbor for some yummy sea salt bark! I've met the lovely owner Lorie and her sweet candy maven (ugh I hate when I can't remember her name- sorry doll!) It's a fun little stop for a treat or some of their dangerous fudge! Let's talk a little about the treasure boutique inside called Wildflower! Omg. Ok, so my kidlets think whatever I like is just not cool. Then, my oldest strolled in with me and not only loved the chocolates- but near everything at Wildflower boutique. She *had* to have this super cute patchwork jacket, loved the distressed overalls, some of their cute tees, etc. I was thrilled! Something in common with my kidlets!!! My youngest liked the little handmade cat items- it's constantly changing. So another reason to venture into Marianne's is the Adventure of "Wildflower!" Super cutie cute cute! read more

This is my third time, visiting the area, as I have adopted family who has a camper in Kistner Marina Quaint, sixities vibe with their signs and fits the vibe of downtown. There is another location , not too far from this location. The store has a variety of selection from sea salt bark, suckers, buckeyes, turtles and other delicious treats. As any chocolate shop goes, there will always be various pricing. Be sure to check out their rewards program. Overall, would stop back in when visiting again. Chocolate is simply heavenly. Not only did we get chocolates but gummi bears too! Marianne's also makes pickles. We'll try those later as we bought a jar for home. Nice selection of truffles. Very delicious. read more

This chocolate shop offers a wide range of unique chocolates, candies, popcorn, fudge, truffles, you name it. I highly recommend checking out the creme brulee and sherbet flavored fudge, the key lime crisp bars and the pecan marshmallows. Oh my goodness! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you ask nicely, they'll give you samples of fudge. This shop leaves me asking "Malley's who? We don't know her!" I highly recommend checking out this chocolate shop. This is a very cute local chocolate and fudge store. It has a timeless feel with a great selection of chocolates made in the store. The peanut butter, butter pecan and crème brûlée fudge were my favorite. The key lime truffle was good but probably not worth the price, though fun to try! The orange dark chocolate here is unbelievable. It's so good and freezes well. I don't live in the area, but was visiting this area for vacation last summer. I bought a bunch of the orange dark chocolate because I was so in love and it froze really well- it maintained it's flavor and texture. I also loved the milk chocolate pretzels and the truffles- the key lime was so unique and the raspberry was delicious as well. Love this place! read more

While not outstanding in my book, this little shop is the spot for down to earth chocolate fun. They make quite a few items and I feel that their specialty is the cream centered mini cups. The whole staff is so wonderfully nice and they will let you try just about everything if possible. Creme Brule fudge, who would have thought. Need a sweet tooth fixing? This places has really nice, smooth chocolate. My kids love everything, especially the chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick; my husband's favorite are the salted milk chocolate carmels; and my fav is the espresso dark choclate bark! I was so disappointed when they moved from Conneaut to the Harbor in Ashtabula, but now I have an excuse to go down to the Harbor and have some great chocolate and yummy food across the way! read more
