Beignets, French toast muffin, and pumpkin cheese muffin
    Sarah M.

My husband and I stopped in here the last weekend of October for coffee/treats after checking out of our Airbnb. They had so many mouth-watering options for pastries/snacks and fun seasonal drinks. We got beignets, a French toast muffin, and a pumpkin cheese muffin to split. The beignets had been room temp and we thought they'd be warmed up, but they were still really tasty. The French toast muffin was the star of the show and so moist and flavorful! I am not sure if this a year-round item or a seasonal item, but I would order it if it's available! The pumpkin cheese muffin was also really good and I love a little pumpkin treat in the fall. We went to the Geneva State Park and sipped our coffees while walking along the lake and it was just a perfect, quiet morning.

    Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

Went to Corner Coffeehouse for breakfast twice during my stay in Geneva. Its a decent size coffee shop with several menu items and it was SO clean and cozy. Both days I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese because it was so good. They have bagels, muffins, beignets, etc. A good variety to choose from. I also tried out their chai lattes and smoothie. The chai was just okay, I have definitely had better. They do not carry soy milk. I really liked the tropical smoothie. Would definitely order that again. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. I will definitely be coming back during my next stay and will most likely order the same breakfast sandwich.

Hot chai latte, pb frappe, and espresso were all delicious! Perfect spot to get some work or knitting done too!

2 measly slices of microwaved quiche, 2 lg cappuccino that are 3/4 foam (ordered lg, hate to see what sm was) for a TOTAL OF $26!!!

Today I had "The Cadbury" *beams* because hey! It's almost Easter and Cadbury, bunnies, you know... Wow was that awesome. I paired it with their Tomato Quiche Pie. Which, good lord- was probably one of the best breakfast items I've had anywhere! The crust was buttery and perfect. The quiche was so good- I almost ordered another one. It was that perfect. I need to mention I came here a week ago to snag a to go coffee- and I had the Butterbeer. A butterscotch dream mocha creation that I had to mention. Yes folks- their creations are stellar. Every month there's new ones and I'm pulled like a frigging tractor beam to see what they've got! I always stop by here. It's so perfect. whether I dine in or grab and go- there's wonderful kiddo's who are always so polite. They have their own coffee for sale and they have some stellar flavors, I keep meaning to pick up a few.

Aldo the aesthetic of the place used to be calm and inviting, it's now becoming cluttered and unkept. I would reconsider coming back unless the standards are revise. We love Scribblers and hope it can raise the bar back to its original standards.

The area was really quiet and didn't have many people out and about, but it was also the last weekend of October and this area seems like it would be bustling during summertime since it's on the lake. We each ordered a different wrap (my husband got the chicken/bacon/ranch and I got the salmon blt) and we were incredibly surprised by the quality of food. They were great portion sizes, cooked to order/incredibly fresh, and had large chunks of protein vs deli cut style meats we had kinda thought they might be. The fries were SO crispy and seasoned nicely. The staff working that day were super friendly and came to check on us often to make sure we had plenty of water and napkins. The tables are already well-stocked with condiments, so we never needed to ask for anything, which was great. I also ordered a witches brew wine slushy and it was such a treat. They had 3 Halloween inspired flavors to choose from, but the neon green was calling my name. The inside is pet friendly and has a bulk-bin dog treat station to get your pups some treats, as well as a dog menu for them to have a snack while you eat. They sell dog toys, collars, leashes, and other merch inside, too. Outside is a big patio/dog park area for the dogs to play. Such an adorable spot- I would love to come back with both of our dogs during the summer to experience the peak season.

We weren't sure since it says pet cafe as well. We had the blackened salmon wrap and fish sandwich. They were both enjoyable, and both orders came with fries. I tried their lavender milk tea boba (not spiked) pricey for $8 if you opt to spike it it's $12. I thought the milk tea was odd, it had some minty flavor to it like Vicks! :/ They also have cocktails, wines and beers and even slushies.

I'll start with the bad. We were able to get a table immediately, but that was only because we didn't order food. We attempted to order food later on and were basically denied because there wasn't a server available. They also appeared to be out of a lot of wines. My friends and I all ordered wine slushies and only had the option of one flavor because they didn't have anything else. The last bad thing, and this isn't the establishment's fault, is that the Ferris wheel was destroyed due to a bad storm. So sad to see! Now onto the good. We found a table that was big enough for our party of 8 immediately. The wine slushies we ordered were delicious, and the live entertainment they had was a nice touch while sipping. We were able to go down to the water and chat for a bit. The weather was beautiful, and there was a nice breeze. Our experience was very laid-back and relaxing. Hoping this place can improve. I'd love to see the Ferris wheel up and running. Fingers crossed!

Glad we stopped at Old Firehouse Winery. It was just what we needed to break up our trip. We sat outside on the deck, enjoyed the sunshine and view of Lake Erie, while listening to some excellent music. We ordered the BackDraft Pilsner beer and the Probie Burger. Beer was ice cold and the burger was good. Service was a little slow, but the waitress apologized as a large group had put their order in before we did.
