They were great portion sizes, cooked to order/incredibly fresh, and had large chunks of protein vs deli cut style meats we had kinda thought they might be. The fries were SO crispy and seasoned nicely. The staff working that day were super friendly and came to check on us often to make sure we had plenty of water and napkins. The tables are already well-stocked with condiments, so we never needed to ask for anything, which was great. I also ordered a witches brew wine slushy and it was such a treat. They had 3 Halloween inspired flavors to choose from, but the neon green was calling my name. The inside is pet friendly and has a bulk-bin dog treat station to get your pups some treats, as well as a dog menu for them to have a snack while you eat. They sell dog toys, collars, leashes, and other merch inside, too. Outside is a big patio/dog park area for the dogs to play. Such an adorable spot- I would love to come back with both of our dogs during the summer to experience the peak season.

Just be sure you check your coffee cup for chips. I don't like drinking from a chipped cup or glass and it may actually be illegal to serve beverages in those. Oof! Tough crowd when it comes to the reviews on this place. While I can understand the…read moredisappointment, I'm going to base this review on my experience, which was pretty good! I'll start with the bad. We were able to get a table immediately, but that was only because we didn't order food. We attempted to order food later on and were basically denied because there wasn't a server available. They also appeared to be out of a lot of wines. My friends and I all ordered wine slushies and only had the option of one flavor because they didn't have anything else. The last bad thing, and this isn't the establishment's fault, is that the Ferris wheel was destroyed due to a bad storm. So sad to see! Now onto the good. We found a table that was big enough for our party of 8 immediately. The wine slushies we ordered were delicious, and the live entertainment they had was a nice touch while sipping. We were able to go down to the water and chat for a bit. The weather was beautiful, and there was a nice breeze. Our experience was very laid-back and relaxing. Hoping this place can improve. Glad we stopped at Old Firehouse Winery. It was just what we needed to break up our trip. We sat outside on the deck, enjoyed the sunshine and view of Lake Erie, while listening to some excellent music. We ordered the BackDraft Pilsner beer and the Probie Burger. Beer was ice cold and the burger was good. Service was a little slow, but the waitress apologized as a large group had put their order in before we did.
