The people working here are up from Peru for the winter, and are so hospitable and kind. There is also ample sitting space to work or relax in. This is a reminder to myself to stop putting work before relaxing, both in reviews and in life.

I say save the extra money since you'll most likely be passing by this place multiple times a day. Food is a bit pricey, but is expected since it's affiliated with the resort. The have a little cafe with Starbucks coffee, baked goods, and soups, salads, and sandwiches. They also have a wine section and a small pharmacy/retail section. My only gripe about this place is that there aren't any prices listed or stickered on anything that is not prepared by the deli- all the retail goods and bottled beverages. $3 for an individual sized box of organic milk, yea- no thank you. Again this place is convenient but if you have the time or if you want to save money, head to Safeway a few miles away and stock up on goods... especially snacks and drinks.

She did mention she might be a bit biased since she works in the kitchen, but she was completely right: the food was outstanding. We ordered two burgers, a salad, and an appetizer to share among four people. The portions were very generous and incredibly satisfying. We usually prefer to restaurant-hop and have dessert somewhere else, but the meal was so good that we decided to stay and try dessert as well. While it wasn't quite as impressive as the rest of the food, it was still enjoyable and ended up being the perfect choice since it wasn't overly heavy after such a filling meal. A special mention goes to our waitress, Erin, who was excellent. She was attentive, efficient, and incredibly on top of everything. I always appreciate when a server checks in at the right moment to ask whether you'd like the bill or want to order anything else, and Erin handled everything seamlessly. She got us in and out quickly without ever making us feel rushed.

We ordered the green curry noodle bowl with beef shank added, as well as the seafood pan roast. The noodle bowl came with an overly generous amount of noodles, which made the overall balance of the dish a bit difficult. I found myself having to work through the noodles before getting to much of the curry. The roasted mushrooms and the portion of beef were both quite good. The ingredients each tasted fine on their own, but the bowl didn't quite come together as a cohesive dish. The seafood pan roast was more enjoyable, with a good amount of scallops, shrimp, and salmon. Overall, it was the stronger of the two dishes. While there were some positives, the tasting experience didn't fully meet my expectations, and I don't think I would recommend this spot to others if they are looking for noodle bowl.

Sierra Surf Club - Lettuce wraps/ only thing I'd skip. The texture of the mushroom with the ice berg did not go well at all too mushy.
