Popped in for a latte at the coffee bar. I enjoy the roast they serve from Drink Coffee Do Stuff. Every drink is made well and the staff is friendly. This Raley's is convenient to stop in on the way to Northstar or Tahoe. I will stop in sometimes on my to a job in the nearby community. Since it is a grocery store, deli, and bakery there is something for everyone here. There is alway music playing to keep the happy vibes going.

Stopped in for lunch. It's been a long time since I've had lunch here, but I know they have a good delicatessen and food bar. The food bar do you fill your own boxes and pay by the weight. It's a bit on the expensive side, however, you can get a great sandwich with fresh bread or a fresh pizza for a good price. What I ordered: Turkey sandwich with avocado and tomatoes The sandwich bar has pretty much every option you would want. Would like to keep mine, fairly simple with just cheese and tomatoes, but they're are onions peppers lettuce, all kinds of stuff that are included. One thing I like about this sandwich counter. Is they make it in front of you and they don't Nickel a dime you for all of the add-ons. The sandwich maker was named Victor. I think he's from Romania. And he was definitely very jovial and made a great sandwich. I will definitely have another sandwich one day

What a cool grocery store!!! This is as nice - if not NICER - than Whole Foods Market. From the extensive bakery, huge hot foods section, and an upstairs lounge with a full-service bar??? I was enchanted. The coffee shop is the first thing I spotted when I came in - seems to be regulated by a local roastery: Drink Coffee Do Something. I grabbed a chai latte (decent) and made my way to the lounge upstairs. KEEP IN KIND: Though they have free wi-fi, it's really slow and not easy to do work here.

This Raley's Organics-Nutrition-Education market in Truckee is a beautiful store. Nicely designed and full of fresh produce, unique items and healthy necessities. With a coffee place, small bar, outdoor upstairs patio, to a store full of delicious food this store rivals a Whole Foods or a Nugget. Prices are kind of high and some things deemed unhealthy are missing. All and all a super place to shop

Açaí bowls and kickstarter shots

Pretty clean, organized grocery store. We drove all the way down to order açaí bowls and have some lemon ginger shots. Very satisfied with the yummy açaí bowls. Lemon ginger shot which is called kick starter will definitely kick start your day.

Wow!!! I have never been to a Raleys that looks this nice LOL I used to have Raleys in my area but they've since closed. I was surprised to come across this one and see that it resembled a Whole Foods. From the types of groceries, the hot bar, the sandwich bar, the coffee shop, even the upstairs lounge and bar! It was a perfect little rest stop for my friends and I to take before heading back home from our trip to Tahoe. Additionally theres a ton of Tesla parking/chargers outside for those who are looking to chill here for a while.

Loft bar. Free fruit!

A few people on the patio, but otherwise fairly slow. I was pleasantly surprised by their pastry selection. Many great choices! We settled on the Thai chicken wrap, an iced coffee, some yuzu beignets, and a yogurt parfait. The service was iffy. The people were nice, but the gentleman taking our order had to clarify my wife's drink twice, even though it was a quite simple order of iced coffee with cream. It seemed like maybe he wasn't really listening. For close to $15, I was expecting the Thai chicken wrap to be a decent portion filled with protein. I was a bit disappointed to have mostly tortilla and lettuce. The flavor was good, but not such a great portion. The beignets were great, can't be beat. Perfectly tart from the yuzu inside. The yogurt parfait was well-priced, and I felt the portion was good. Overall, a cute place to grab coffee and pastries, but I would probably avoid their lunch food in the future. We enjoyed the patio space, and I felt the vibes were good. Cheers!

There's plenty of parking and I like that there is a spot to chill and enjoy your drink w a friend away from the order stand area. The lady making the drinks behind the counter with dark brown/black hair was quick and efficient when it came to my drink. I don't leave negative reviews like ever because I always try to be understanding but Unfortunately I really didn't like the service of the woman with the nose piercing at the register. There was a man waiting/grabbing his drink from the right sided counter and when it was my turn to order she didn't even greet me but started chatting with the man in an upbeat tone, laughing and talking about how much she missed his dogs being with him and just being exaggerative in conversation... if I'm being honest. She didn't stop talking to him or even acknowledge me until he literally walked out of the door which really whatever. At one point I began to just scroll my phone and wait for her to finish. It was awkward. As soon as he left she just looked at me and asked if I was ready, there was really no greeting or even a smile, which was funny to me because she wouldn't stop smiling at that man. I asked if they would be able to add one of the flavors from a specialty coffee into a matcha instead and I already felt like I was bothering her. She said yeah and every other word that came out of her mouth after that was literally just one worded, no costumer service or friendliness in anyway. I don't think there was even a line behind me. I then tried to order a sandwich for my bf that I thought he would like since he wasn't with me, she told me they ran out of it and I asked what was closest to and she told me....I then said yeah that sounds fine and she began asking me regular questions on how I wanted the sandwich to be, I answered and in the middle of this I saw the pesto sand-which and was like oh he'd probably like that better so I said "I'm really sorry but could I switch it for a pesto instead". Her responses was just "ok". I could tell she was probably handling making the food too and was irritated that I was making it "more difficult for her" but why would I pay for something that I wouldn't really even want or enjoy? I knew what I wanted when I came to the counter and unfortunately they didn't have it. I didn't come to the counter still wondering what I wanted and wasting her time. And you know maybe it wouldn't even be an issue if I didn't see how enthusiastic she was towards the other guy, honestly most coffee shops around here rlly aren't chit chatty and I'm on board w that, we all have somewhere to be and something to do but w that they are the same w every costumer....not picking and choosing. When I got home the sandwich was missing the cream cheese that was listed on the description and it was cold which I'm guessing you have to ask for it to be warmed? Idk that's something I would have thought they ask you. I've been a server here in Tahoe for 10 years and this just isn't how I would handle things. I am always trying to be fast and convenient wherever I am service wise because I know how things go from the other side so I don't think I was doing too much. She wasn't confrontational and I definitely wasn't. Not looking to get her in trouble or looking for any sort of compensation on my end more just speaking up about a situation I thought could have gone better. And after looking at reviews it's clear this isn't her first time having an off day. I live directly behind the parking lot and was thinking this could be a convenient place to have a quick drink without having to drive to the usual keys cafe or west side coffee but it is what it is.

Currently they have send me a double order and are prepared today to sent me yet another order. They do not answer their emails or their phone. No idea what is going on but endless supplies of 5 pound bags of coffee every few weeks is not what I want. I will cancel my subscription, membership and never order again. (I'd burn their shirt as well but it's a pretty nice t-shirt). My advice is to never order anything from them. Perhaps they will get customer service straightened out but as of the last two months it is a nightmare. New- I sent 19 emails with the exact same information-a notice showing a new shipment of coffee mirroring the order I received two weeks ago and asking them to cancel- and this Yelp review. They contacted me via email assuring me the order was cancelled, when my next delivery was due, and thanking me for my years of service. My guess is a negative Yelp review impacts them. I like their coffee. I like the fact some of the money goes to eye cancer research. But beware, you are on your own to handle subscriptions and shipments. It would not be out of place in a three-Michelin-star dining room. He roasts every batch himself over a wood fire, feeding a beautiful old roaster with logs he chops by hand. His espresso blends are composed with a level of precision that feels almost synesthetic. Ask him what he is aiming for and he will describe the roast in shapes: how wide the base should be, whether it tapers or flares, how many sides the finished polygon has. I have stood there listening, fascinated, with no real idea what he is talking about, then tasted the cup and understood anyway. Important to know: this is not a coffee shop. There is no barista counter. It is a modest storefront and warehouse, and if you stop by you will likely see Tim at the roaster, stoking the fire. The aroma is arresting from the street. That wood fire imparts a signature note that sets his coffee apart. It does not turn smoky in the jerky sense. It reads as a gentle campfire thread running through the cup, adding warmth and dimension without heaviness. Since moving away from Reno I miss these beans enough that I cave and pay the shipping. If you order Priority Mail, the bags arrive right in the early sweet spot of their drinkability window, perfect for dialing in extraction. If you know your way around a grinder and an espresso machine, get these beans. Tim Curry is an amazing craftsman making world-class coffee, one hand-roasted batch at a time.
