Delicious pastries.
Brian K.

After two trips to this bakery, I think it's time to write a review. It's tucked away in the basement of the Olympic House at Palisades Ski Resort, but worth searching for. It's a great affordable stop for breakfast or lunch. The bakery offers a variety of baked goods (pictures below), sandwiches, soup, and chili at prices that are very reasonable for a ski resort. Unfotunately, I haven't tried everything on the menu because I keep going back for their chili. The chili is hearty, has plenty of meat, and come with a breadstick on the side. It's $10.00 for a 12oz serving which is enough to keep me going for an afternoon of skiing. It's got a nice kick to it, but isn't overly spicy. It's a popular spot for lunch, so the seats fill up, and the lines get longer. The staff is efficient, so you usually don't have to wait very long. Enjoy!

a line of people waiting in line
Anna C.

An objectively terrible experience from all points! I ordered a breakfast bagel - it took 25 minutes to be ready! A bit of an atrocious wait. It seemed very poorly organized as there was a huge crowd waiting for their food - and the registers were fully staffed up - not taking orders ... just chilling while people are waiting an obnoxiously long time for their food. In addition to that - their breakfast bagel caused me to be seriously sick in the stomach for days. So come here if you would like to feel I'll for the rest of your trip. Or be intelligent and avoid this place altogether- the hype is not worth the stomach pains and atrocious wait times

Chocolate chip cookie, you can't not get one

Dough not skip this spot - an Olympic valley staple in the heart of Palisades village. The lines will be long but they are worth it. Come early and stock up on delicious breakfast items, baked goods, and most importantly the cookies. Hot and fresh chocolate chip cookies are an 11/10. You can bring them on the mountain with you for a midday treat. I repeat, dough not skip on Wildflour. There's a limited menu window outside which served everything we needed. Can't wait to come back and eat plenty more cookies plus check out their full menu for lunch options.

Great cookies!!

Fresh baked items and Peet's Coffee plus a great spot to sit before heading out to ski. Wildflour serves up fresh bagels and rolls and all kinds of things to fill your belly for a day on the mtn. It's located on the ground floor, under the O Bar and back behind the Chamois. There's more seats by uostairs if the comfy chairs and tables are full. The cookies are always great, gooey yumminess. The tortilla phat is a high power brkfst with eggs. The tomato soup is tasty when your toes are cold. The line can look long, but if you move to the customers' left there are usually much shorter lines on that end.

This place is $$$. $15 for a bagel sandwich and worth every penny (especially slopeside). Chocolate chip cookies are unbeatable!

The food is amazing! Especially the chocolate chip cookies. I recommend going after skiing or snowboarding at Palisades Tahoe.

After a long day of skiing, we were absolutely starving, so our instructor recommended this…read morerestaurant in Tahoe. She did mention she might be a bit biased since she works in the kitchen, but she was completely right: the food was outstanding. We ordered two burgers, a salad, and an appetizer to share among four people. The portions were very generous and incredibly satisfying. We usually prefer to restaurant-hop and have dessert somewhere else, but the meal was so good that we decided to stay and try dessert as well. While it wasn't quite as impressive as the rest of the food, it was still enjoyable and ended up being the perfect choice since it wasn't overly heavy after such a filling meal. A special mention goes to our waitress, Erin, who was excellent. She was attentive, efficient, and incredibly on top of everything. I always appreciate when a server checks in at the right moment to ask whether you'd like the bill or want to order anything else, and Erin handled everything seamlessly. She got us in and out quickly without ever making us feel rushed.

We ordered the green curry noodle bowl with beef shank added, as well as the seafood pan roast. The noodle bowl came with an overly generous amount of noodles, which made the overall balance of the dish a bit difficult. I found myself having to work through the noodles before getting to much of the curry. The roasted mushrooms and the portion of beef were both quite good. The ingredients each tasted fine on their own, but the bowl didn't quite come together as a cohesive dish. The seafood pan roast was more enjoyable, with a good amount of scallops, shrimp, and salmon. Overall, it was the stronger of the two dishes. While there were some positives, the tasting experience didn't fully meet my expectations, and I don't think I would recommend this spot to others if they are looking for noodle bowl.

Everline should be mortified that this is what a five star resort offers their guests. When I walked in, it was just me. No other customers waiting and no others showed up until I was on my way out. I order two bagels toasted with cream cheese and two drinks to go. There was no smile, no greeting, no cheerfulness from either of the two workers. I had asked for a mocha but somehow at 9 am they were out of mocha so ok I ordered a white mocha instead. The bagels came out first and shame on me for not inspecting but it wasn't until I got into our car to see the bagels were NOT toasted and did not have cream cheese on them either. A mini-cream cheese cup was included however no knife to spread it myself, and no alert from the worker that they were leaving me up a creek with no paddle. For this being a classy establishment, tearing pieces of a cold bagel and dipping it into a cream cheese cup was not how I expected it to be. Of course the cream cheese amount is a total rip off as well. The other problem came was when I stood there waiting for my drinks. 1 came out without letting me know and it sat there. Neither worker thought to say "here you go Miss" so if I hadn't asked I wouldn't have known. But that wasn't the whole problem- the whole problem was that as I continued to wait for my second drink it became evident that neither worker were making my second drink. I guess they forgot? That makes sense. My drink was super syrupy and so sugary I choked down maybe 4 sips before giving up. My husband's latte was supposed to have an extra shot of espresso but it did not and it was lukewarm at best. Completing a service you were hired to do is truly truly a struggle these days. Management needs a hard reset and these women need to learn basic social skills, along with basic existence-in-the-workforce skills if they want to ever move up in life.

The place itself is quite small with limited parking, but everyone is nice and kind and they have little buzzers to notify you when your table is ready :) I got the French toast with strawberries and oh my goodness it was DELICIOUS. The French toast was a perfect blend of fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The bread itself was amazing. I opted in for some fresh strawberries, but you can get other fruit or a fruit syrup as well. The French toast also comes with warm maple syrup, and I can attest it was definitely warm. It made the whole eating experience feel luxurious, and I had a delightful time eating it all up. If I ever come back to Lake Tahoe for holiday, I will definitely need to swing by this place to experience this French toast again. So good!

Moderate portion size for price Unclear menu ------------- Worst food poisoning this decade. I told the waitress I had a dairy allergy, but she did not write it down. I asked about dairy in the dish I ordered; I'm pretty sure the kitchen switched out the chicken sausage from the menu for chicken&cheese sausage -- an avoidable error IF the kitchen is informed. Extremely disappointed.
