Cookies were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend. Outstanding customer service, brought the cookies made fresh out to our van. The cookies fresh off the oven and were all scrumptious. Order online and pick up to bring home! We've tried all the flavor and cookies were all excellent.

If you love cookies, this place is nothing short of magical. What makes it truly special is that they bake your cookies fresh to order--so by the time you arrive, you're greeted with warm, gooey, straight-out-of-the-oven perfection. That first bite? Pure bliss. Just a heads up: it's a take-away spot (no seating), but honestly, that just adds to the charm. You grab your box of freshly baked goodness and enjoy it wherever you like--car, home, or under the stars in Truckee. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can genuinely feel their passion for baking in every interaction. It's rare to come across people who care this much about what they do--and it shows in the quality of every cookie. Also, major bonus points for being open late! When those late-night cravings hit, this is the place to go. My personal favorites: * Classic Chocolate Chip - perfectly balanced, soft, and indulgent * Dark Chocolate with Almonds - rich, slightly nutty, and absolutely addictive If you're anywhere near Truckee, do yourself a favor and stop by. Fresh cookies, kind people, and a whole lot of heart--what more could you ask for?

We broke them in half so we could try all the flavors haha.

Wow, I love the cookies and I love this business model. You order online and you pick a pick up time and just park out front and a gentleman promptly comes out with your order. The cookies were HOT. Can't get any fresher than that, I love it! If you're looking for excellent home made cookies, ditch the store bought and head to your own local bakers.

The service was great. Super easy to order and pick up. Three stars because the cookies were average.

S'mores of every conceivable flavor, milkshakes and s'more pies too. Incredible selection and all that sweet goodness. At the rib cook off we split a pie and loved it. The crust was a crunchy graham cracker and maybe caramel then chocolate filling covered with a very rich meringue. If you're going to have a cheat day this is the place. Look for the small pink trailer and indulge. Being a food truck they are often at events like the rib cook off but will be at your wedding, birthday party or other festive event. You gotta have s'more fun so drop by.

I did come to the event twice Friday towards the very end, they ran out (understandable) but I did come back again Sunday early evening, and they were out. The cashier was very apologetic and explained that the demand was high this year and they ordered more but even that ran out. Nonetheless, the shake has the best rich flavoring and I think it's so fun to walk around and drink. Makes me feel like I"m 12 again! I think their whole business name and look of their truck is the cutest, and I bet it's the most common photo backdrop for many. Maybe I can catch them at another event through their instagram as I would love to try the pie one day!

As an avid baker/cook, I was wary of some of the products after reading some reviews on Yelp. After waiting in line for an hour, reviewing the online menu, then ordering a selection of goodies, I am here to tell you that this place is worth it. Granted I had to stand in line for an hour and there is no seating, but people in line were civil and friendly. No meltdowns. Nobody going "postal". If you want coffee, there is an excellent coffee shop a couple doors down. Many people in line were drinking coffee while waiting. Because I returned home right after purchasing my box of baked goods, I was able to re-heat the pastries, which I highly recommend, and enjoy them on the patio. Here's what I had: ham harissa red onion Parmesan croissant - reminded me of chorizo pistachio baklava morning bun - complex flavors of fruit and spice kale potato tomato onion cheddar cheese quiche - best quiche ever raspberry peach almond pie bar (gf and vegan) - very fruity chocolate chunk cookie - lots of chocolate passion fruit Basque cheesecake - creamy with a passion fruit topping Due to elevation, the croissant wasn't like other croissants I've had with their many layers, but I enjoyed the ham harissa nonetheless which reminded me of Mexican chorizo. Because there is a 70¢ charge per large box, the locals brought their own Tupperware to haul their treasures back home and maybe to reduce landfill. In addition to freeze-dried strawberry granola, dog treats are also sold here. Strategy for next time: Show up before 8am opening or closer to closing time 2pm (you risk product shortage) to avoid long wait times. Bring my own Tupperware to avoid extra charges. Apparently, July 4th weekend is the busiest day of the year...just my luck.

It's a muffin masquerading in a scone shape. See my other reviews for my scone sourcing preferences. The Budapest coffee cake was quite good. I'd come back for that. For me the sweet baked goods were too much of a miss. I prefer Cornerstone's approach. I might come back and try the bread.

We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. If you're looking for an over-the-top dessert experience your kids will talk about for days, this is your place.
