The doors open and your greeted with a busy bakery ambiance. Coffee drinks being brewed and fresh baked goods will greet you like a warm hug. They have savory and sweet. They have flaky. I finally had some some time while in the area and made sure to visit. I was not prepared for the sheer volume of GF items! It is not the largest bakery, but that doesn't matter when the variety of pastries and sweets are as high caliber as this! I had some questions about items, and the staff was super friendly and answered them for me. I had the hardest time deciding what to get. I had to go with something simple and comforting. I chose the pull apart cinnamon roll. It was everything I dreamed that it would be. Soft, fluffy, cinnamony, and coated with cream cheese frosting. Paired with a vanilla latte, it was the absolute highlight of my week. There are some indoor low tables and high top tables if you would like to sit inside. A couple of tables outside are available as well. I've had a favorite coffee shop in Truckee already, but I think this one will be my new recommendation.

Gruyere and calabrian chili bread - The bread is amazing and still a little warm at 8:45/9 AM. The texture, taste, and flavors were perfect. A great crunch with an airy inside. The flavors complemented one another perfectly. Highly recommend getting bread. Blueberry scone - I had the peach scone on my list but this flavor was a last minute sub. It was jam packed with blueberries with a sweet glaze on top. Super freshly baked texture. Pistachio chocolate morning bun - Amazing. Nice, flaky layers. Filled with delicious chocolate chips and pistachios with a delicious chocolate sort of glaze on top. Raspberry chocolate chip brioche twist - Great flavor with raspberry jam and chocolate sort of like the innards of a choc croissant. It tasted a tiny bit dry while I usually prefer a doughier bake. Giant though! Blondie - Last minute substitution! Really yummy with chocolate chips and butterscotch chips and varied texture. The middle was yummy dough-y while the outside was more baked. Pecan stresual coffee cake - The topping was amazing as was the inner layer which felt sort of like pecan pie. I would have liked a tiny bit more moisture in the actual cake. There's decent dog entertainment in line. Meaning dogs to entertain humans, and some employees even hand out dog treats. They do wholesale to businesses and also sell retail to people like you and me! They offer sourdough in loafs, sliced bread, and rolls. I am sure much more, but I have not actually been to their retail store. I was gifted a loaf of sliced sourdough and muffins. Ohhhh my!! It was delicious!!! What I like is their simplicity. They use freshly milled unbleached flour, sea salt, and water. I don't like when companies use "enriched" flour. With clean ingredients and no preservatives, it will not last as long so enjoy it while it is fresh!!!
