I stopped by here before heading out of Truckee and we were so pleasantly surprised by their breakfast and pastry options. I had one of their prosciutto sandwiches in their display and oh my, it was AMAZING. So savory and delicious! Then of course had to end on a sweet note with their cinnamon roll and fresh fruit danish. Loved every bit of it! If you're looking for a cute coffee shop with delicious food, check this place out.

Matcha latte 2/5 - knew this wouldn't be good but it was so milky. Couldn't taste the matcha powder Pastries looked really good but we didn't get any. Coffee was pretty standard

Popped in here for a quick bite and was blown away by the avocado toast! The serving size was generous and I really enjoyed the burrata with it - gave a kind of bruschetta crossover feel. There's a lot of grab and go options at the counter that all looked fresh and tasty - there is more food here than I expected. The inside is small but cozy, and it's mostly communal seating. Everyone was friendly and there's a great vibe overall, so I would definitely recommend it for a casual breakfast or just a place to hang out and work for a while.

Yelp yet again steered me right! Rode my bike in the cold for 14 miles and needed a cuppa hot something to defrost. This place showed really good matcha so off I went. And yes the matcha was bright green, unsweetened with almond milk, just the way I like it. The ladies at the front were so sweet and friendly. The bake all their goodies in house too, they told me. Then I happened to meet the owner while I sipped on my matcha outside. He is the kindest man, super friendly and happy to hear that their matcha is up to par. He even gifted me his homemade granola! This place is worth a few stops if you're in the area. And stop to say hi to Werner!

This sandwich was 17$ plus tip. Bread is stale, hard as a rock. Wasn't able to finish. Microwaved limp bacon and a nice hard piece of plastic that got stuck in between my teeth. Felt awesome biting down on that. Older bald guy I'm assuming is the owner was just standing talking to two people blocking the line. Barista made an awesome coffee and the girl taking my order was very sweet, But won't be coming back

Zuri Coffee Bar is easily the best coffee spot in Truckee. We've visited several coffee shops in the area, but nothing else comes close. The food is next-level--the panini was perfectly pressed with crisp, golden bread, and the Linzer tart was truly incredible (seriously, don't skip it). Prices are super reasonable, and to top it all off, the staff is genuinely lovely and so appreciative. Warm atmosphere, fantastic food, and kind people--Zuri checks every box.

Coffee and desserts were delicious but definitely on the pricier side ($4-6 per pastry, which were fairly small) Inside is very modern and there's limited seating but a super cute place :) they had some merchandise and snacks/drinks as well. Staff was not very patient or kind but overall got the job done and coffee came out pretty quickly (we were the only ones in line).

Flavorless coffee and dry hard pastries. Came here from the positive yelp reviews and left super disappointed. The blonde girl behind the counter was super nice but the food here was just not good. Bummer.

The coffee was nice and bold. I got the regular coffee and I would definitely recommend it. The staff even gave me a free pumpkin croissant after asking about how sweet it might be. I see why they have high ratings because they deserve it.

Zuri is a must-visit every time I'm in Truckee. As a big chai lover, I have to say that their chai is absolutely delicious! At the time of writing, they're offering a seasonal pumpkin chai that's to die for. They always have a great selection of pastries, and the service is consistently excellent. On this visit, we tried both the vanilla and pumpkin chai, paired with a blueberry scone. The scone was massive, priced at just $6, and incredibly moist while being packed with fresh blueberries that added the perfect touch of tang throughout. Every morning I'm in Truckee, Zuri is a staple for me. Highly recommend!

Still my favorite coffee shop in Truckee. Came in for a lox & bagel and was pleasantly surprised. Very fresh bagel, and the lox was perfect. I was greeted friendly when I went to the counter. Customer service here is top-notch. Also, the seating is nice however limited during rush-hour time. Especially when high school kids get out of school. What I ordered: Lox and as bagel (add on extra lox) The onions, capers, cream, cheese, and lox or traditional, some thin sliced avocado was added on top of it. It's the first time I've had avocado with lox & bagel. It actually complemented it really well. The staff is really nice. The owner takes pride in making sure his customers are happy. Just a great place to grab a wonderful roast, coffee, lots of beautiful desserts, great breakfast, and lunch items. I think the cut off time for lunch is 1:30 PM so make sure you get it before then.

We went back bc that salmon & avocado lox bagel is THAT good. Service is always quick. Very homely there, feels like a 'locals' spot bc everyone is in conversation. Cute inside. Coffee is strong. Pastries are so good.

This Swiss coffee shop has one of the best chai lattes! I also ordered the lox and cream cheese, which was very good. It's a nice and busy coffee shop in the Lake Tahoe area. Our server was a little grumpy, but that didn't detract too much from the experience.

Definitely a popular spot as every seat was filled when we arrived! Very limited food menu--they only offer two breakfast options. Breakfast burrito (rice, black beans, cheese, and chorizo) which can be ordered with or without chorizo but no other modifications since they're all pre made. Also had a breakfast sandwich option as well. I personally wasn't a fan of the breakfast burrito but my boyfriend really enjoyed his. The rice and beans were 90% of the burrito with very tiny bits of chorizo here and there so it just didn't feel like breakfast to me and I didn't finish mine. Everyone has different tastes though so if you enjoy bean and rice burritos I'm sure you would like this!

That was OK as my half dozen selection of sundried tomato, wheat, and combo bagels was a good one. - They were out of regular cream cheese, so I settled for a bit pricy smear of Herb. Positives - Easy access on and off Virginia and good available parking. - Expected casual bagel shop ambience, including display and sandwich making behind the counter. - Bagels are baked, no steamed. - Bagels were put in plastic bag (with tie) which in my opinion preserves freshness vs. a paper bag. - My toasted breakfast bagel (next day) was the right amount of heft, chewiness, and flavor. I almost could have eaten it without the cream cheese, but that smear just added to its goodness.
