    Waffle

Good spot to get a warm waffle after a day of skiing. The waffle is on the sweeter side and I wish it was a bit crisper. But it's a nice warm treat after a long day. A bit pricey but that's to be expected for most things in the village.

wanted some hot chocolate and this was the closest to our hotel. didnt realize this was at north star but didnt mind since north stars so cute and comfy. the hot chocolate was so yummy but the coffee wasnt great. the ham and bacon savory crepe was good but the the strawberry nutella crepe was mid. the strawberries were just not fresh so it ruined the crepe. service was great though, it was only one guy and he was very sweet and patient with us, it was our first time in so we took a min to order lol. if i could give 3.5 stars i would

One of my favorite things about the Northstar village is the liege waffles at Euro Snack. They have other items on the menu here as well, but I always just order the waffle. You order at the counter inside, and there is a pick-up window outside to get your order. They call your name once your food is ready. The waffles are usually done pretty quickly after ordering. I'm sure I'll order more waffles if I ever come back here.

They need to clean the waffle iron off can see lots of black spots.

Lots of burnt pieces on the waffle. I asked them to make a new one and they told me it was like that l. Not good for I seven dollars.

Place is ok. Tried their frog dog ( hot dog in a baguette) which was ok and their waffle is eh at best. I wouldn't eat here again unless I was desperate. Staff was friendly.

Eurosnack is know for it's delicious waffle and frog dog (baguette stuff with hot dog). There's couple stands located around Northstar Village. The $5 waffle is filled with little sugar pods, once heated, the sugar melts making the waffle sweet and crispy. Once you take a bite, you know the meaning of life. The $9 frog dog, is a baguette where the center is taken out and filled with a hot dog and condiments. This can be eaten as a snack or as a meal. Pretty good size. If you're looking for a quick snack or quick bite, stop by the Eurosnack. Anytime is a good time for a delicious waffle.

It is not the largest bakery, but that doesn't matter when the variety of pastries and sweets are as high caliber as this! I had some questions about items, and the staff was super friendly and answered them for me. I had the hardest time deciding what to get. I had to go with something simple and comforting. I chose the pull apart cinnamon roll. It was everything I dreamed that it would be. Soft, fluffy, cinnamony, and coated with cream cheese frosting. Paired with a vanilla latte, it was the absolute highlight of my week. There are some indoor low tables and high top tables if you would like to sit inside. A couple of tables outside are available as well. I've had a favorite coffee shop in Truckee already, but I think this one will be my new recommendation.

The employees were kind as was everyone in line, which was very relaxed yet orderly. I made an initial list after seeing the menu online and some last minute substitutions when I saw the items visually. Gruyere and calabrian chili bread - The bread is amazing and still a little warm at 8:45/9 AM. The texture, taste, and flavors were perfect. A great crunch with an airy inside. The flavors complemented one another perfectly. Highly recommend getting bread. Blueberry scone - I had the peach scone on my list but this flavor was a last minute sub. It was jam packed with blueberries with a sweet glaze on top. Super freshly baked texture. Pistachio chocolate morning bun - Amazing. Nice, flaky layers. Filled with delicious chocolate chips and pistachios with a delicious chocolate sort of glaze on top. Raspberry chocolate chip brioche twist - Great flavor with raspberry jam and chocolate sort of like the innards of a choc croissant. It tasted a tiny bit dry while I usually prefer a doughier bake. Giant though! Blondie - Last minute substitution! Really yummy with chocolate chips and butterscotch chips and varied texture. The middle was yummy dough-y while the outside was more baked. Pecan stresual coffee cake - The topping was amazing as was the inner layer which felt sort of like pecan pie. I would have liked a tiny bit more moisture in the actual cake. There's decent dog entertainment in line. Meaning dogs to entertain humans, and some employees even hand out dog treats. Ravioli the doggo (shout out if you are reading this, even though the chances are low). When I left the line looked about equivalently long as when I arrived. Overall amazing and don't sleep on the bread!! Worth waiting in line.

Also not one table was wiped down, so it's a bit awkward. They probably need to have another staff member to assist with this so that one person can remain behind counter. The staff is friendly but what did rub me the wrong way as well is it seems they are asked to skimp on the food at this restaurant. We ordered a side of toast and a side of bacon, both $5 each and they give you one slice of toast and one and a quarter piece of bacon broken into three quarter pieces.. just not worth it.
