The frozen yogurt taste horrible. No flavor. And the machines were probably made to dump a lot so you pay more no matter how slow you pull the lever and the m&ms dump like a billion on your bowl so I ended up spending 10$ on froyo that tasted horrible and was wayyy more ice cream than I actually wanted worst thing ice cream I've ever tasted sucked so bad tasted like shat don't come here it's just a waste of money. We complained but they said it's not their fault and they don't build the machines but they could probably adjust the settings and invest in good quality ice creams! I don't know why they are hating this place but they are older reviews; maybe, it's changed management or they listened to their customers. This place is situated in the North Star Village Mall. It's located right in front of the ice rink during winter days. I loves crepes or dessert so we had to pass by. Smelling the sweet dessert was hard to resist. Might I add, we didn't even have lunch yet! What's wrong with dessert first?! Hahaha I had 'The Swiss' which was banana and Nutella crepes! So good!! They didn't ghip you on ingredients. I wanted another. My family all finished theirs quick too and said it was very good except my hubby's frog dog. It was more bread than dog. The price is a little high but what do you expect when this is at North Star Village?! They also served candy and other sweet treats as in my pictures. The only thing I didn't like was the order in which they served their customers at the window. You can easily cheat and say you didn't get your order. Staff was nice and friendly. Cheesecake Gelato Yummmmm! Conveniently located next to the skating rink at NorthStars' lower lodge. So after a warm summer's day hiking or mountain biking this gelato is an excellent way to cool off! It's a little pricier than other places, because it's NorthStar, and its worth the markup. Perfect location when visiting Northstar on a warm beautiful summer day. I was highly shocked at the other Yelp reviews. It seems as they were only complaining about the price. This is to be expected. You were at a resort you are in a location of miles away from anything less expensive. It's called supply and demand. It cost more for this establishment to run effectively therefore their prices are going to be higher than if you were in the main city. I did not mind paying the extra price because the location and the fact that I wanted something sweet to eat! So now for the actual review. Do you want frozen yogurt with toppings? Gelato? Sorbet? Jelly Bellies? Or some pastries? This establishment has it all! It was well stocked, clean and adequately staffed. In fact the staff is amazing. During our visit they had 2 young students here on a Visa one from the Czech Republic and the other from Poland. I think it's amazing that businesses can offer individuals the opportunity to work overseas. That's what I found most interesting about this establishment. We were well served and they even offered samples because they had flavors that I never even heard of :-) definitely would go again if I'm ever up in Northstar again. read more

Well, I hate to do this because I prefer to contact the company first to let them explain or apologize, but there is no contact other than the phone to call the people who don't care. The yogurt was labeled strawberry tart and cheesecake, so I tried that one. I was never able to tell which one was which. I put cheesecake bites on it and they had a plastic consistency and tasted about as good. I also put dark chocolate chip on the yogurt and I never did taste them. This is by far the worst yogurt place I have ever been to, but it will continue to make money because all the people who go in are tourists who will never be back anyway. A Red Flag went up at this point.... My son had F Yogurt and when he went to the candy, it was old, hard and has not been rotated out. Honestly, for the price you should serve this to us on a golden spoon. Fruit toppings looked equally as old. I've read the other reviews, this is not the staff's fault, it is management not attending to details. I'm in the industry, if open, serve the best, if closed, put out a sign. We had two bites and tossed our $10. dessert, total waste of money. Simplify, bring the offerings down and don't offer amusement park sizing, you don't have the traffic. Management, go on a field trip to Moy Yo's in Petaluma to see a company doing it right. It was another hot summer day and my friends and I were really feeling the heat. We spotted out of the corner of our eye a gelato place. We thought, "How lovely would a nice cup of refreshing gelato be right at this moment!" We looked around for the name of this fine establishment and to our dismay and shock, it was EuroSweets, none other than the place we had been immensely disappointed by two years ago. Memories of disgusting, overpriced frozen yogurt and old, hard candy flooded back to us as we stood in front of this sweet shop. We eventually came to an executive decision: after two years, it probably has improved, right? WRONG!! We walked in this building and were met with an absolutely revolting display of a hotdog and two waffles, baking in the hot sun. Our server didn't even smile at us, she only looked us up and down with a judgmental sneer. We finally made up our minds on our flavors of choice after trying out a couple samples: mint chocolate chip, cheesecake, and amaretto chocolate chip. We also picked up a bag of sour candy to balance out the sweetness of the gelato. We paid for our items and made our way out of the store. We took our seats in front of a nearby Starbucks and had the first taste of our gelato. As I took a bite into my amaretto ice cream, I was immediately sickened by the grainy texture of this so-called gelato. It tasted like my entire mouth was being scratched and scraped by sandpaper, I could barely even swallow it! As my peers took turns tasting my disgusting mess of a cup of ice cream, they all developed revolted faces as soon as the flavor hit their tastebuds. We decided to wash down this disaster by eating some of the candy we had purchased with our gelato. To our dismay, the candy was rock solid and absolutely disgusting. Now, here was our frozen yogurt experience: the only chocolate yogurt they had was sorbet, and it's labeled in tiny little letters at the top of the sign. OMG, this is the WORST frozen yogurt store of all time, and quite possibly one of the worst sweet shops of any kind. Everything said in all of the other one-star reviews is accurate. In addition, here is our story. We walk in, unfriendly Eastern European teenaged kid working the joint. We survey the 8 different yogurt flavors, he comes over and states "you try. no sugars. I show you nutritional facts!" I told him I believed him and didn't need to see the fact sheet. I asked what "original flavor" or something like that, tasted like. He says "cottage". I tried it. Disgusting. And no, nothing like "cottage". Idiot. And also EXTREMELY SWEET. No sugar my ass! It is ALL sugar! Anyhow. We get a cup for my child, go to the register he rings it up, I hand him my credit card as I routinely do at ALL retail establishments. He says, "cannot use. sorry machine don't let me." I am perplexed. He shows me what the credit card machine says but I don't know how to decipher it. Anyhow, so I have to use my debit card for whatever strange reason. Then my wife and kid sit down to eat the stuff and I take a walk around the shop. The bulk candies look old and the M&M's in all the bins are all crushed up and broken. Is that how they are supposed to be? Weird. It all just appeared to be old and neglected even though the shop is apparently very new. So the final straw that inspired me to write a scathing review was when I sat down with my family and casually gazed up at the counter. What do I see but a second (female) employee walks in behind the counter past the first employee and they KISS. Then he looks around to see if anybody saw! Seeing that I caught them, he comes over and says to me: "I give you BIG BIG sample?!" I say no thanks and usher my family out of the joint as quickly as possible. It is just rude, juvenile and unacceptable for two employees of any store or restaurant to KISS while on duty, much less right in front of patrons. Eastern Euro trash idiots! Don't go!!! All three of us had $30 worth of gross yogurt. We actually all threw it away even my 5 year old. My husband bought $7 worth of candy and all of it was rock hard! The customers always right, so I thought. From the moment I walked in the store I knew something was fishy, the store owner. I go to find a cup and all they have is a large size, then as I go to get my frozen yogurt the levers are faulty. The levers shoot your yogurt out at rapid speed and get stuck when trying to put back up, filling your cup even more. Then as I go to pay for four cups of yogurt the total is $33! As I go to eat my so called "yogurt" I notice the texture of the chocolate yogurt is more like half baked cake and the vanilla has spices that leaves your tongue numb. Plus it was absolutely disgusting! As we go to complain the owner walks in, he immediately thinks we, the customers, are wrong. As we tell him the texture is cakey he refuses to listen and proceeds to tell us his product is delicious. He even took a spoon and stuck it in my yogurt! We found signs saying, "you pour it, you buy it." Obviously, he has received complaints like this before. I for one would never go there again and would never suggest this place to anyone.
