This was a wonderful Starbucks store with very cozy sitting space, a huge front counter that had pick up area in the left corner and register on the right end. There were some nice merchandises also by the corner of the register side. They had all the drinks and bakery items available. When I went to the store, I saw the new summer drinks on display. I ordered the tropical butterfly lemonade refresher with popping boba. Took the barista about 6-7 minutes to prepare the drink. Once it came out, it looked so stunning with shades of 3 different colors and the popping bobas were really bursting in my mouth. Loved the new summer special drink and the overall vibe of the store. While I sat there for few minutes, saw a bunch of locals coming in to grab their drinks. read more

This is my favorite starbucks EVER. The staff is absolutely outstanding, especially Zero, Alex, Bridget, and Natalie. They greet me by name every time I walk in. I feel this starbucks is like a second home. It is always clean and fresh; I always feel like they want me there. I been to starbucks all over the world and every time I go to one it never compares to the outstanding service at Old Tappan. 100% of the time, I wouldnt even bother writing a review, but i was so disgusted with Starbucks customer service that i felt the need to fight back a little. The Sandwich was disgusting and I'll let the photo speak for itself. The real F U moment comes when you contact customer service on chat and spend 30 minutes telling them you are dissapointed and then they ask you to call an 800 number to geta refund, after you call the 800# they tell you they need the general manager of the store to call you. Really ? I just spent an hour with customer service and you cant have the courtesy to send me a gift card ? Never again. You will never get another nickel from my pocket. read more

Ever since the Mickey D's nearby closed I been using this place as my check point Beta before rendezvous to the LZ. Accepts CC and clean bathroom and never really crowded when I come here so I can actually grab a seat and kick back and awaiting orders from command (Boo Boo). read more

I'm a little bit disappointed that they didn't have the free reusable Holiday Cups available, but I remedied that by going to the one in Old Tappan. Their ice cream drinks are AMAZING!!! Starbucks in my Life: Part 1 of 5. Why would I bother to write a review about a Starbucks when it's obvious to anyone who hasn't been living in a cave for the last decade that Starbucks is a coffee mongoloid that has radically transformed the way we consume beverages? While I no longer partake of most coffee-related drinks (being an avid tea drinker) Starbucks will always hold a place in my heart as being my employer during my formative and wacky late teenage/early twenty-something years. I worked here somewhat discontinuously from 1998-2002, kind of during the peak years when Starbucks were cropped up in convenient places but wasn't in your face so much. Things changed for the better at this location when they remodeled a few years back, and the outdoor seating is always nice. In the end, though, you're still essentially chilling at a strip mall. It is quintessential New Jersey, though. I have a feeling some of the people I used to work with still run things around here, which would translate well if this is your local Starbucks. Most people who worked here were good people, creative people, lively people, funny people, and most importantly, people I wish I could still hang around. Who knows, maybe things have changed here, but for the most part the baristas work hard to please, and try to stifle laughter when dealing with people who take life too seriously. read more

Obviously, everyone knows what Starbucks coffee is like and it's practically the same across all stores for the most part. The thing that I absolutely love about this store is the employees. I've been going to this Starbucks at least once a week since I started high school (I am now a freshman in college) and the staff has always been extremely welcoming and friendly each and every time I came whether they've been working here for a while or not. Love this Bucks since it was the first one I ever stepped foot in back in the mid 90s. However, the 3 stars are due to no plates to put a breakfast sandwich on, AND no ketchup for said sandwich. Come on guys, get with the program! I'll be back though to see if you care. read more

The man at the counter with the silver hair had the worst attitude of any Starbucks worker I've ever encountered. When asked a question, he replied rudely and was not helpful. On top of that, the drinks were mediocre at best. Would not recommend this location. If there was an option to give no stars, I would do that. read more

Love this Starbucks! Just wish they had outdoor seating in the spring! Other wise great! Staff and very friendly and some have actually remembered my order since I'm a very frequent costumer. This is by far the worst Starbucks location I've ever been to. The employees are indifferent if not rude; the bathroom is neglected and unsanitary; and really annoying high school students invade the place, sometimes bringing in food from other establishments and not even bothering to actually purchase anything from Starbucks.
