Believe it or NOT, there's a Starbucks in Oconomowoc, WI! I still haven't figured out how to pronounce the name, but the population of this town is like 12000 and I think 11999 of them are probably Republicans which makes me wonder why there's a Starbucks here. The coffee is typical Starbucks coffee; so it's nothing that sets it apart from other Starbucks. I normally prefer Peet's or Coffee Bean, but considering I am in Oconomowoc, WI, there isn't exactly a Peet's or Coffee Bean around. Anyways, the staff's service was top notch even though they probably aren't being paid very much. It's not only the genuine smile and awesome bubbly personality. They brought the coffee and the wrap to where I was sitting. (I wanted a sandwich, but they didn't have any.) U really can't beat restaurant service at a coffee shop. There's free WiFi here as long as you have AT&T. Unfortunately, it seems that they only have one wall outlet; so don't plan on spending the whole day doing your homework at this Starbucks. The store is immaculately clean for a Starbucks. It was quiet and peaceful unlike many other Starbucks in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. read more

On my way to a wedding in Menomonie Falls, i craved an iced coffee so i pulled into the Starbucks in Oconomowoc. The the sign said they closed at 3pm, and it was 2pm, so I was delighted and ready to fix my craving... Door was LOCKED. nobody inside. VERY disappointed!! read more

The last three times I have stopped here in the last two months this place has been closed early. No signs on the door as to why they are closed early to let customers know or message on their phone. if you're going to close early be virtuous to your customers and let them know why if they show up or post it on your website in case they look online prior to coming to get coffee first So it does say open until this time and you're NOT! read more

Went here two times because my boyfriend wanted Starbucks. The first time we got 2 coffees and BOTH were cold. Went a second time and left with a coffee and a latte. My latte was hot but the coffee was cold again so I called and they said sorry and offered us 2 free coffees. We went back a couple days later for our free coffees. When I gave them his name for the free coffees a manager came over and asked who I talked too. I told her and she told me they will not accept this "level". I asked her what did she mean and she walked away. Then I got angry and told them to shove the free coffees. Got in the car with my boyfriend who heard my call to Starbucks and he said I did nothing wrong. DO NOT shop at this location. They do NOT know how to treat a unsatisfied customer. read more

Friendly service even when swamped. Same quality as other Starbucks. My only beef is that when it's busy dont whisper the names of whose drink is up. The music is loud, people are talking and my drinks were cold when i checked to see if i was called. Dont be timid. Speak up! read more

We stop by this Starbucks frequently on our way to and from the Milwaukee area. My husband and I usually walk away with a "wtf?" look once we leave. This weekend we stopped twice so I was able to get a good gauge on the place. Their staff doesn't seem to care about customer service... Not at all. The only two nice baristas I've seen are Isabell and Cheyanne. I took note of their names as it looked like they were the only ones actually working. Saturday morning, there were three people behind the counter. Two of which were enthralled with their guy friend's talk about tattoos. Pictures were being shown and much talk about artistic ability to draw their own and placement. Oh to be young and dumb again!! We had to stand and wait for the conversation to take a lull, it was pretty in depth, for one of the girls to actually acknowledge us waiting to place our order. Then on Sunday.. Sheesh! I placed my order with the guy cashier. He gave me back my gift card and then looked behind me to the guy waiting behind me to place their order. There was no writing my name on the cup, no "Thank you, your coffee is down there", nothing to transition to the next customer. Nothing. It was flipping weird!!! read more

Today i mobile ordered to this location at 6:00 p.m. They said it would be a 5-8 minute wait. I arrived promptly at 6:05 to the store. My drink was not ready which is understandable because it was the minimum time. at 6:08 1 of my 2 drinks was ready... well not completely it was fully made in a cup with whip cream just sitting on the back counter for 8 minutes then they placed it on the tray to be angrily enjoyed by me. Then, at 6:15( 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready) not to mention there were only 2 other people in the store. i waited 13 minutes for my drinks without including my mobile order time. there were two baristas working this is absolutely an outrage. not to mention the other two times i went to this location were i waited over 40 minutes in total just for a black coffee and a latte. overall, i am extremely disappointed in this locations efficiency to put it kindly. wtf starbucks!!!!!!! read more

Usually Starbucks is the same no matter which you go to, but this location was really sub-par to my usual Starbucks experience. I asked for a soy chai, and got regular milk, so I didn't drink that. My boyfriend got an iced coffee unsweetened and it tasted strange, like it had been brewed for too long. They also seemed to be out of a lot of the sandwiches and paninis that have to be toasted. read more

Absolutely dislike going to this Starbucks! They are never properly staffed and you hardly ever see one of the employees smiling. Came here in the morning randomly and it never fails -one employee spends their time lining the cups up that are waiting to be completed instead of helping making the drinks which would make more sense considering the long line and wait! It is always cold there and the drinks and customer service are hit or miss. Most of the drinks are made as specified and other times it's like they didn't even listen to me. I've been a customer of this Starbucks for as many years as it has been open. I've thought many times about putting a review 'out here' but as of today, I'm at wits end. Keep in mind, that I am a loyal Starbucks snob... I stop at this store 5 days a week, not because of the staff or the atmosphere, in fact it's in spite of all of that. To set the stage, I order the EXACT SAME THING, 5 days per week. I NEVER stray from that order. There is only ONE person on the staff who recognizes me and knows what I'm having before I say anything. ONE person. In fact, there is one individual who's name rhymes with Schmadam, who almost goes out of his way to NOT remember my drink. Each time I approach the counter it's as if he's never seen me in the store. I don't think it's much to ask for in a customer service oriented business... If you see someone 5 days a week, and he/she orders the same exact thing each day? Remember him/her and what he/she drinks, regardless of whether you like, dislike, chit-chat with, or do nothing more than punch a few buttons into your terminal for them. You're a professional. Act like it. That's bad enough, but to make operations worse, this store seems to have a habit of training new associates during the most busy time of the day for a coffee store... Anyone? Anyone? THE MORNING. Lines extend from the counter, meander through the store and sometimes even outside the door. If it were any other coffee shop, I would have walked away a long time ago. Unfortunately Starbucks has had their hooks in me for a long time. Well? No longer. I'm turning in my Gold Card. Good-bye and good luck Schmadam and new staff.
