FYI---- Wondering if Starbucks is doing this to EVERYONE....I just bought a venti vanilla macchiato, did not drink it until I got home...which is a three minute drive. I opened my to-go lid, stirred it with straw and realized that it looked quite low, about a half inch below the cup top, if not more. I am super curious so I got out my ruler and measured it!!! WTF Starbucks? I ordered a venti so give me a damn venti. Give me exactly what I paid for, $4.75 worth! Check out one of my pictures and you will see, it was an inch below the cup line! I had not taken one single sip or drink from my cup, now if Starbucks is doing that to everyone's drink whether it be a tall, grande or venti us consumers are being cheated!!!! read more

Really wish this location was like the brentwood location. I started mobile ordering and picking up inside. Whenever you walk in, there's several people waiting to pickup their order and no ones being acknowledged. I'll wait patiently but when I still don't get acknowledged after 5 mins, I'll walk up and ask to pickup my order because I don't want the ice to melt any longer. I read some of the previous reviews which validated my experience here this morning. There were only two customers ahead of me. I placed an order for two cups of drip coffee and two artisan breakfast sandwiches. Got the dispensed coffees immediately. Hubby said he will wait for the sandwiches as they are heated up. So I go to sit outside with our friend. I notice a stream of folks coming and going. But no hubby and no breakfast. Finally I go in to check. I look over and ask about the sandwiches. The barista says he called it out. Hubby said he didn't. It's a case of barista said and hubby said. Who's right? And there's no one inside other than hubby standing there. Love Omar and Bri! They make this shop so pleasant to frequent! Friendly fast efficient service is so important and they get an A+. I know first hand that customers can be a real pain in the a** (I own my own business) but it's still important to treat them well and these employees get it! They are out of a lot of stuff by lunchtime but I'm starting to think it's Starbucks ordering system that's the problem plus it's still better than the location down the street! Twice in the last month, most recently this morning, this Starbucks has totally gotten my order wrong in the drive-thru. My best guess is they are delaying typing the order in so they can falsify some "wait time" report. I have already reduced my frequency of visits to Starbucks in general and will stop visiting this one completely. very disappointed in the Drive-Thru! Went through the drive-thru on Oct.12th i n the Evening the woman that was working the drive-thru was a Philippino woman. While I'm waiting for my drink she has the window open and she dropped about 3 F bombs with her coworkers while I have my two children sitting in the car and their windows are open then my drink does not taste like it normally does so I go inside 2 let them know and I tell her that it doesn't taste the same and she gives me a nasty look and turns away and another co-worker Ariel I believe was her name helped me out and made my coffee and obviously the first coffee someone missed something because the second one was perfect but what disturbs me the most was she was cursing with the window open and my children heard it all. read more

This is possibly the worst Starbucks, no, worst ESTABLISHMENT I've ever patronized in my life. The staff is rude regardless of you going inside or the drive thru. They look and sound like they'd rather be literally anywhere but there. I was in the DT and asked for some teas and details of them and the employee let out a very audible sigh before rambling them off in a pace (but slightly less enthused tone) similar to that of an auctioneer. I live close to this location but drive past it, to the one next to the freeway 9 times out of 10 because they're immeasurably more enjoyable than this location and worth the long line (apparently most of Oakley is in on the fact that that Starbucks is better). Came in this morning, placed my order at the drive up window. I was given my drink, and my 2 of my 3 sandwiches in a bag. I made it to the edge of the parking lot before I realized One sandwich was missing. I came back in and inform them that I was missing a sandwich. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY STARBUCKS! Walked in and was the only customer in line, four other people inside at tables. Total of SIX employees working. It took several minutes to get acknowledged, then it was a simple "be with you in aw minute", which didn't happen. Eventually another employee said the same exact thing, now I'm getting pissed. Im not usually the one to complain but i am very infuriated with the Starbucks store in Oakley CA Main St and Carol lane. Today on 8/14/2021, ordered through the drive through a Venti iced vanilla latte with soy milk, the barista repeated my order. The barista then stated they had ran out of venti and grande cups, no offer of a discount for not keeping there inventory in stock.. whatever so now i ended up with two tall iced coffees...fine. The barista then hands me my drink i take one sip and its not soy!!!! I am allergic to dairy!!! I handed the barista my drinks back she did not apologize for making my drink incorrectly. They made two more tall iced vanilla lattes with "soy" milk. She handed me the drinks and clearly there was no caffeine in the coffee it was pure soy milk! The worst customer service!!!! One star, this loation ruins my morning everytime I come. I am 100% never coming back after multiple terrible encounters. They have been out of carmel drizzle for months, each time I ordered a carmel macchiato it was given to me with carmel missing and no notification from the staff. The drive through line is always spilling out into the street which is a pain and hazardous for many reasons. Today they only had one express machine working and had no eta for me on when my 1 drink would he ready possibly up to 15 minutes or longer. I said forget it. This used to be the worst Starbucks in the area. we live very close by but we would drive to the one by the bridge just because they suck so bad. They used to mess up our orders constantly. (By the way all we do is order black iced tea not even a complicated order) however recently they have been rocking it. We decided to give him a chance about 3 months ago and they are on point constantly. so if you were disappointed in their service and want to give him another chance I would highly recommend you do so. Nm, drinks suck too. When we had the issue with the gal in the drive thru I thought it was a bit watery tasting, but figured I just hadn't ordered a carmel macchiato in awhile. Went to the other Starbucks the time before today and their carmel macchiato was hella good. Back at this Starbucks today since it's closer & we won't be back. It's too bad, I really want to like this place. The location is convenient, the shop is stylish and comfortable and the staff seems to be incredibly friendly however, the coffee is just the exact opposite. Unfortunately the 3 to 4 times I have been here, the coffee always seems to taste burnt which does not exactly agree with my taste buds, and which overall just tastes pretty bad- I mean dry, bitter after taste bad. It's really unfortunate, especially with the fact that it's a drive thru and the staff is so friendly which is a reason why I added an extra star. Perhaps they can do something about it, maybe have an expert barista come and show them some tricks, who knows anyhow, I may give them a shot in the future of maybe pop in for some tea, though for now I'm driving the extra mile. read more

I don't like coffee. There, I've said it! Instead, I order the Venti Green Iced Tea (unsweetened). The bf orders a coffee black (no cream, no sugar). Boring, right? No, just right! Sometimes, I like to be bad and I'll order either the sausage, egg and cheese on an english muffin or the tomato and mozzarella sandwich. Both very good! This location has to be the WORST Starbucks in the country, certainly in the SF Bay Area! Aside from horrific customer service, the coffee tastes burnt, and the barista's are poorly trained. At least half the times I come here, there are always issues with my orders. Today I got a hot beverage, when I asked and waited for a cold one. Then I noticed I didn't get it the way I ordered it, it was too light to be 5 shots of espresso, and no whip, when I asked for extra. I added money to my card, but it did not show up on my details. I asked her to specifically charge my card and add the requested amount to my gold card. But her answer was "I don't know why, I'm sorry." Well I'm sorry, but that's unacceptable, if you don't know, find out. The girl seemed irritated that I had to ask her to correct my drink twice, and then asked why my drink isn't being reflected in my app for my stars. This drink is weak, doesn't taste like espresso like it normally does, and I'm already having a bad day, which is why I came here, in hopes for some peace and a good experience. I'm too annoyed to ask anything else, although I should. I don't want to be one of those people that makes her have a bad day!! And this is the last time I will go here . unwelcoming,Very rude and unprofessional people . I ordered my coffee @ 6:20 and it was supposed to be ready by 7:05 . I walked in @ 7:15 and asked politely how much more time it will take, the first person was super rude and answered " I DONT KNOW" and didn't even try to find out . It took over hour and half to get it ready . Out of 3 travelers size coffee , 2 of them were half empty. There was a time when all the coffee was ready but they hold me up for another 15 min to pack some sugar and stirs on a lil bag . I went in to this Starbucks to get tea and to read this morning and sat down in their comfy low chair in the corner cuz of my injured knee (the only low chairs they have). When I realized the AC was blowing right in that spot I asked if they could turn it down. Mind you it is 43 degrees outside at this point and they have their AC going nonstop. They said no. I asked if I could move the chair over a little. They said no. I looked back at the chair... all the space next to it. "You're telling me I can't move that chair a few feet to the left?"
