No. Don't do it. I've tried on multiple occasions to order here.. and am disappointed every time. Its a shame too because the location is so much easier.. but its just not worth the hassle. This is is "junior varsity" location in town. The better Starbucks is on Yosemite-- better service, much faster and better overall experience. Today here this location didn't even have a primary ingredient--caramel. I've been to hundreds of Starbucks and never had that one before! The food is also awesome here! They are very friendly even just today I was a complete pain in the butt, but they were awesome about it. Lately the have been hit and miss. The last time we stopped and got a coffee, it was very weak and tasted more like hot water with a hint of coffee, than an actual coffee. Since we stop in our way home, about an hour away it's more of a hassle to go back. Today, the cup felt light. Took the lid off to find the cup was filled to about 3 inches from the top. For as much as the coffee costs, Starbucks can fill the cup. I don't want to here that's room for cream or whipped cream. There is no excuse for the lack of customer service. read more

When In Oakdale this is my preferred Starbucks. The line is always long but moves smoothly. The employees are all very friendly! And they always get my order right and drinks taste way better then up the street. I called in the other week to put coffee beans on hold for my grandma and they were happy to accommodate me. If you have a dog they will give you a little pup treat & water for your furry friend. I really like this location!! read more

Going to this Starbucks makes you question your sanity. The employees are like aliens pretending to be humans. I have had several weird interactions at this location. The last one we had a mobile order for two identical drinks, the girl brought one to the window, the sticker said 2 drinks. She handed it to us and then closed the window and walked away. So we stayed thinking they were getting the other one, after 3-4 mins my husband tried to get their attention and eventually leaned out and knocked on the window. The girl came and said yes?! My husband explained we had two drinks, she was like oh did I only give you one? Closes the window and walks away. Lol. She comes back and says we don't know what happened to it, what would you like to do? At this point I feel like I'm being pranked. But we both go out of way to always be kind to cust srvc employees, so we calmly said we would like our drink. She was like ok. Then walks alway. She comes back with a drink that was not what we ordered. My husband said this and she was like oh this is someone else's, laughs and walks away again. She comes back with another drink, at this point we were like we will take whatever she gives us to get the heck out of this line. Well we drive away and the drink is wrong. We haven't been back. Typical Starbucks. My peppermint mocha tasted exactly as I had anticipated. On the way through Oakdale, we needed coffee and hot chocolate so we stopped. The drive-through line looked long, so I walked in to place my order. It was taken quickly and efficiently. My coffee and hot chocolate were served within a couple of minutes. This place is still my go to in a small town but I feel like they are slipping in the drive thru. It's just getting slower, nice but slow.

I was looking forward to having Starbucks since I rarely get it. I decided to do the drive-thru line instead of going inside. The line went pretty quickly but when it was my turn to order I was a couple feet away from the ordering screen but the employee started taking my order. It was hard to here her and she could barely here me. I don't understand why they would try and take my order if I'm not directly at the screen to order. When it came to sizing I ordered a medium, which apparently they don't have. The employee stated they didn't have a medium they only had a grande. Obviously she knew a grande was a medium but just had to use grande instead. Unless you're a Starbucks regular, you aren't going to remember the sizes. Grande and medium are the same thing but apparently not at this Starbucks; it's a crime to use the word medium instead. As far as the actual taste of the drink, it tasted more like coffee than pumpkin spice. If you're getting an iced pumpkin spiced latte I'd recommend asking to add an extra pump or so of pumpkin syrup to make the pumpkin taste more prominent. read more

This Starbucks is my Second choice in town, not because there's anything wrong with it, No... I am generally downtown, so this is the store I only go to if I am shopping close. The customer service is great! They are your typical Starbucks. Some Baristas are more personable than others, it's human nature, however the food & coffee is excellent, service is fast. I'm not often a patron of Earth's future coffee monopoly, but the lovely town of Oakdale was where a restroom break was finally necessary for the girlfriend & I on our way to Yosemite. The parking lot was tiny & full, but we got lucky when someone else was leaving right when we drove up. This Starbucks is decorated pretty much like every other Starbucks on the planet, but was also very, very clean throughout, including the restroom. In need of a caffeine & calorie recharge, I got a Venti Mocha Coconut Frappuccino. The staff was nice & my drink was out pretty quickly. Starbucks' Mocha Coconut Frappuccino is like a liquid Mounds bar slushee. It was delicious. Relieved & refreshed, we got back on the road. The Starbucks in Oakdale is a nice stop on the way to Yosemite from the Bay. read more

It gets a star because the manager didnt hassle me when I requested a credit after waiting more than 10 minutes for my mobile order that didnt materialize. It gets 1 star simply bc you cant do no stars. I appreciate that there was a car show going on nearby... and that's why I did a mobile order... so i wouldn't have to wait a long time in line. I left with out my coffee... and regret not stopping at the other coffee place down the road on my way to my appointment. The store needs to more effectively plan staffing for local events, especially those across the street. read more
