My family and I just came back from vacation and wanted to stop by for some drinks real quick. We went to Taco Bell, but then we saw this place. At first, we checked their menu and we saw something we liked. It was a mango smoothie. All of us in the family love mangoes, so we bought one smoothie to all share. The smoothie was amazing, it tastes like you're actually eating a mango! Plus, it was 100% natural fruit with no added sugars. Also, the service was very nice and there was no ambiance because it was a drive thru, but in the end, you can't beat that! So overall, I'd highly recommend this place if you wanna make a quick stop for an amazing drink. read more

Day-O is such a treat in summer!!! Definitely stop here for a delicious smoothie or frozen blended drink (all non-alcoholic) anytime you are driving through Jamestown or Sonora. I think there are more locations now, too. I've heard great things about their coffee and hot drinks but always got for the frozen blended drinks instead, so can't comment on that part of the menu. I've been going for years and love the smoothies and frappes so much! My favorite is the blended Tahitian Vanilla frappe. Tips and FYI: The staff no longer wear masks. You can drive through either side of the building, so if one line looks long, just go around. They accept cash or card! It's right next to a gas station, so is super convenient. read more

My family and I came to Jamestown to drop off groceries to an aunt during this hard time. This was an impulse by and it was such a find. I took one star off because it it a little pricey but they made it up with the flavor. The smoothies tasted fresh and just like the fruit! Stopped here after fishing with the family at Pinecrest. Here is our order: Mocha-One Stars. This mocha was a tad bit over Luke warm and not Hot like a mocha should be. . There was about an 1 1/2 inches of missing drink. The mocha was super sweet. Drank about a 1/4 of the mocha and tossed it. Waste of $ on that drink. Iced white chocolate mocha-Two Stars. This drink per the wife was too sweet. I am seeing a pattern her. Mango smoothie- my nine year Old Said it was good and he gives it five stars. He licked the cup clean. Strawberry smoothie- I would Give it four stars. I tasted my five year old's drink and I liked it. Very tasty and not too sweet. In the end, this place gets three stars. Would I come back, nope. The Yelp reviews are pretty spot on. The young woman working the window wasn't the friendliest but our order was turned around quickly and coffee options are hard to come by in Jamestown. Note that there are several more options up the road in Sonora. We ordered two lemonades and a cappuccino. It seemed as if the espresso was on the burnt side in my cappuccino and not to sound dramatic but my parents disliked the lemonade so much that they wouldn't even drink it after the first few sips. I love the smoothies here! I've also had the energy drinks (Red Bull with different flavors) and they pretty good too! I'll usually hit up this place on my way back to the bay. Love the orange cream and the blueberry-pomegranate with whipped cream. I think you have to ask for whip cream- no extra charge but adds a creamy flavor to the smoothie. My Mom and I stopped here on our way home. We would rather support little business's than the big ones. I tried the Coca Mocha Nut with Coconut milk. My Mom had a wild berry smoothie with coconut milk and it made it more creamier than if they had just used water. The service was great and quick and we will be back if we are in the area. This was my third time at this location, and I think really what it comes down to is that I need to avoid the smoothies at Day-O and stick to the coffee drinks. Each time I have had one of the smoothies, it tastes ..... off. When I make my smoothies at home, or order them elsewhere, it typically looks like this: fresh fruit + ice + yogurt/soymilk. That's it. And when done right, it tastes pretty darn good. But here at Day-O, I can't help but feel like instead of fresh fruit, they are adding flavored high-fructose corn syrups? I can't be sure, but there is a chemical-sugarness that is very foreign to what smoothies taste like. I've asked once what is in the smoothies, and they've said "fruit and [dairy of my choice] but if that were the case, I don't think it would taste so syrup-y. really do not care for this coffee shop, but my wife does like one of their coffee smoothies and that's it (the coffee toffee frappe). The staff are mostly friendly (not always though) but generally don't seem that on top of things. They really feel disorganized and often have to "go check" with someone. That makes me laugh because there isn't anyone there except the one other worker in this 2-3 person drive up coffee kiosk. We tried to compliment them once and asked what syrups they used because a couple drinks were different than the norm, and they wouldn't tell us, saying they were told not to. It's not exactly a big secret as there are only a handful of providers for these supplies to coffee shops. It would be easy as anything to figure out from casual observation, so by telling a customer you can't do or can't say something it just comes across as off-putting. read more
