I will say the on-site coordinator was a little challenging to work with at times as many of the things we were told when we visited the site before choosing to have the wedding there weren't necessarily true, but most of that was minor details and didn't negatively impact our day in the long run. They more than made up for it on the day of the wedding by making sure we and our guests were well taken care of. Not to mention, the wine is amazing. All of our guests loved it. We had our ceremony at the Catholic church and elected to have our ceremony in the back meadow because we liked it better. We were able to have our planner string some lights and it made for a beautiful and peaceful backdrop that easily accommodated our guest count of ~100 people with a dance floor. We also utilized the Air BnB option by staying in the 2 bedroom apartment above the tasting room and it made everything so easy. It has a beautiful, open layout with plenty of space for me and my family and friends to get ready. They also were kind enough to allow our pups who joined us for the reception. Overall an amazing venue with amazing staff. We are so happy with our decision and wouldn't have done anything differently. We're extremely grateful to Francis, Aimee and their staff for making our day extra special and would highly recommend this venue to anyone who asked.

Kirsten and her dad, Kevin, are incredibly kind and welcoming. They always remember us from previous visits and genuinely make us feel like valued guests. The property is beautiful, with comfortable spaces to enjoy your tasting, whether you choose the cozy barn or the outdoor patio. It's a relaxing place to stop while in Murphys. Their no outside food policy is clearly communicated, and it makes perfect sense to me. It's important to remember that this isn't a public park--it's a winery, and the purpose of your visit is to experience and enjoy their wines. If you get hungry while tasting, they offer a wonderful selection of cheeses, crackers, and other snacks available for purchase. I'd also add, respectfully, that in my opinion wineries generally aren't the best destination for an afternoon with young children. If you are tasting with kids I recommend going downtown which is 5 minutes away from Locke. When our kids were little, we loved visiting downtown Murphys because we could taste at the wineries along Main Street while taking turns with the kids at the public park just behind the tasting rooms. It was a great compromise that allowed everyone to enjoy the day while respecting the purpose and atmosphere of the wineries. One extra perk worth mentioning at Locke: if you become a wine club member, there's a separate area behind the tasting room where you're welcome to bring your own snacks. We enjoyed that this weekend, and it made an already wonderful experience even better. We always look forward to coming back and highly recommend a visit.

It is on the smaller side, but they do a few tables inside and a bar-like area outside. We ordered a couple of beers - like the Lilikoi Sour and the Guava Slap. We also decided to share the Dirty Nachos and the Arapa Flight which consisted of their Cheese, Jalapeno Popper and Mediterranean Arapas. Everything was really good - we especially liked that their Dirty Nachos were made with kettle chips! They also serve pressed sandwiches and brew dogs - the Pinecrest sounded so good! They also serve wine, bottled nonalcoholic drinks like Jarritos and you can take beer crowlers home as well. They also had games for people to play - our group threw down on some Uno! We really enjoyed this brewery - staff was knowledgeable and friendly which just added to the experience! I hope we come back next time we are in Sonora! Check them out and show them some love!
