Easily accessible off of Highway 99 and plenty of parking. Pretty much the same setup as any other Bevmo nothing out of the ordinary or spectacular. Didn't see any staff on the floor and the cashier was alright. Not overly friendly. read more

I was having a difficult time finding my favorite Mexican beer, Bohemia. A neighbor suggested that I try Bev Mo & he was correct. I asked a girl where it was located. She was extremely kind & helpful. Later, while checking me out at the register she suggested that I could join Bev Mo & save money on the beer & later purchases. As I was leaving, she informed me that if I wanted it cold next time I could call the day before & she would be happy to place it in the refrigerator. Bottoms up! BevMo is one of those places that is your go-to stop pre-cocktail/wine tasting party. They have a nice selection of cocktail fixins'. The wine selection is fair to decent with a lot of expected selections and some lesser known vintners. Of course it's really impossible to carry every label of wine. There are way too many to count and many wineries do not sell outside of their tasting rooms. BevMo also has some basic snack attacks which is a must for imbibing. I personally would prepare my own apps or hire a caterer to create some delish hors d' oeuvres. But it is nice to know that you can complete all of your shopping in a one-stop location. read more

I've been shopping here for quite some time. I've purchased quite a few kegs from here for a few years. I've never had an issue until now. I was given a bad keg. I tried to figure it out at home. Eventually i found the keg to be damaged. I've called twice and was told I'd be getting a call back... never did. I finally drove over there and gave them back the keg and was told somebody would call me back to make this right. Nope. Never got a call. From here on out, i will be purchasing my keg from a different liquor store. read more

Not sure the name of the woman who is working the front door today, but zero personality and 100% rude. No greeting and definitely didn't make me feel like a valued customer. This is the second time in 3 weeks she has helped me, and rude both times. I'll definitely be going to the Modesto BevMo from now on. Covid times are rough for all of us. Shopped on a busy Saturday but was greeted immediately upon entering the store. Two different employees offered their assistance during my visit and the cashier made sure I went back to get my second bottle for the 5 cent promotion. Overall everyone was friendly and efficient. Excellent service and knowledge of beers by most of the workers I've dealt with. I've had great experience ordering things online for pick-up. Good communication if something from my order isn't available (they even suggest a comparable alternative). Only thing keeping this from 5 star rating is the prices on some of the beers. Being a Club Member makes the prices on most beers comparable to other locations, but still some are WAY overpriced. Obviously other stores don't top the selections available here! read more

Bev Mo in Turlock is ripping the people of Turlock off blind. I went to Bev Mo in Turlock yesterday to see if they have the "Cava De Oro Extra Anejo" tequila. The did but they had it priced at "$129.99". I Found and purchased this tequila at Bev No in San Jose for $105 last month and last year at $95. You can get this tequila online for $83 to $90 (where: https://www.oldtowntequila.com.). They currently sell this tequila for $83. So, there was noway I would rip myself out of almost $35 to $43 (the price difference). I also looked at St. Jermain ( a French liquor) which sells for the average of $27 but they had it priced at $37. Where you can get it for $27, At: Total Wine in Pleasanton. Next to me were 2 gentlemen who were also complaining about the store's high prices compared to other stores. This store is taking advantage of the fact that they are the only large liquor store in Turlock and screwing their customers the best way they can. Please do not support them and buy your liquor elsewhere if you can. Overall, Bev Mo is way overpriced and will not stay in business for too long. "Screw our customers because they don't know any better" is not a good moto. read more

ABSOLUTLY JUST WOW! I've shopped at this BevMo COUNTLESS times and have never had an issue but OMG today was different. With the epidemic going on I knew to order online and pickup in store. I pulled up and there was a guy outside, I asked him if I was to just pull up or if they wanted me to go inside, he said go inside (man was not the problem) it was THE FREAKING WOMAN AT THE DOOR!! I came with my two children because HEAVEN FORBID MY HUSBAND IS A FIRE FIGHTER AND HAS TO WORK. SHE LITERALLY ACTED LIKE I WAS TRYING TO MURDER HER!! "OH NO! They CANNOT come in!!" Um ok. I said that's fine but can you just refund my card? Because I'm sorry but I'm not leaving a 2year old and 4 year old on the car! She literally looked at me so freaking offended! "You can come in but then NO, this is just NO" umm ex fucking scuse me! My kids aren't doing shit to you! Again I said that's fine I don't have anyone to watch them so can you just refund my card? AGAIN SHE GOT OFFENDED THAT I WOULDNT LEAVE MY SMALL CHILDREN IN THE CAR!! I will not come back here! I LOVE BevMo. It's just a bummer there aren't any in Bakersfield. But, lucky for me there are plenty off the 99 on my way north. This BevMo is just like the rest in the area, they seem to carry all similar products. I was, however, told by an employee that some of the Sacramento BevMo's carry a different selection because they are in a different region (??) Either way, it's good enough for me here. (I do wish they'd carry Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy-Lemonaide + Beer, it's amazing). it's hard to dislike a place that sells just straight up booze - and all kinds of it! friends and i stopped in here after the stanislaus county fair to stock up on more beer. an employee came hurrying after us to check our IDs (despite the fact that it was my friends' second time in there that day. yeah, we're lushes like that.) i thought it was slightly odd that they couldn't do that as we were purchasing the booze later. they were low or else completely out of diet coke, i ended up having to buy the smaller bottles of them at the front of the store. not the best BevMo i've been to but still seemed adequately well-stocked on everything else. parking situation: yippee, adequate strip mall parking! read more

This store has no competition in the area and survives because they lack much competition in most area's. Their pricing and selection for wine are not what most folks think. They inflate the regular price so the sale price will impress you. They rarely if ever have wines that are small production (less than 5,000 case, let alone less than 200 case production). They play a ratings game with their in-house "Wilfred Wong" rating their wines generously, and they often do not have the vintage of a wine you want and fail to update their online system so you find that out when you arrive to pick up your web order. Try www.winesearcher.com if you want a better idea of what the best price might be, and www.cellartracker.com for a realistic take on how a wine is tasting, now. They do carry a good selection of all the other stuff you need to fill out a bar, just not the best price. read more

Walked in right before game time looking for some IPA. Was greeted and directed to the top IPAs. (The clerk even suggested some new ones.) Was in and out in less than ten minutes and in front of the TV to watch my Jets lose :-(. At least I got to cry in some really tasty brew. read more

Being from the east cost and more specifically PA, a place like this is amazing. It's too bad there aren't more east. The selection of beer and liquor was amazing. Seriously.
