I go here nearly everyday.......of course there are always waits and an occasional order slip but things happen. Especially when u up your chances by going as frequently as I do....with that being said the reason I'm giving 5 stars to a cafe/drive thru is the service, this location has one of the most interactive and friendly staff. This? This is what a Starbucks should be. Sure, Starbucks is a global powerhouse, but this Starbucks in particular has a small town coffee shop feel. I'm greeted by name by most of the servers, always with a smile, and always with enthusiasm. My drinks are made well, and on the rare occasion a mistake has been made, it's corrected promptly. It's to the point that I look forward to walking into the store each morning, and the pleasant atmosphere helps kick off my day. read more

I think this Starbucks location is great, its convenient and the staff is friendly. I've never had a problem here and its a busy location including a drive through which kind of bottlenecks the service at other Starbucks, not so much here. I scarcely visit here anymore since a town over but go when in the area, I'm a fan and would recommend. read more

This is truly the worst Starbucks I have visited in this area, I have been to this starbucks a lot due to its proximity to my house, but man the service is just awful! The staff always looks confused and takes forever to do anything (even get a hot tea!) and even worse they act as though they could care less about what they are doing. Garbage consistently over flowing, toilet tissue empty in a dirty bathroom, etc... For better service go to the Starbucks next to the Stew Leonards. read more

Seriously, this was the worst service I have ever received at a Starbucks anywhere in the United States. Literally, there were six "employees" standing behind the counter doing absolutely nothing -- oh wait, one was making a personal phone call on her cell -- while we waited 15 minutes for our drinks. Then, one of our drinks was made incorrectly. Then we waited again for that to be fixed. Meanwhile, the "employees" had a delightful time laughing and gossiping while we waited. And waited. So before I decided to write this I wanted to give them a couple of chances because everyone has bad days. Ok they've had three. At least the three that I visited. I order one thing each time I go to a Starbucks. That's a Venti Chai, 8 pumps and 2 shots of espresso (aka a Power Hippie). The only change would be hot or iced. All three visits were through the drive thru. First visit was at 830am, Second one at 10am and the Third at 850am. On my first visit the wait was minimal yet the young lady at the window apologized for the wait. I got my order, drive away and was down the road when I sipped and found it wasn't my order. I returned to the store, went in and was handed my order and told that they were trying to get me to come back yet I sat at the end of the drive thru at the exit waiting to pull out into traffic and my windows open. On the second visit I was three cars back yet waited nearly 10 minutes from pull up to pull away. I had ordered the drink hot, was asked for confirmation hot or iced and when I got the drink it was iced. Today was third and last chance. I pulled into the line, there were 5 cars in front of me from my end to the window, it was 840am. By the time I pulled away it was 855am. 15 minutes?? Really?? If they don't want to expedite drive thru traffic then they shouldn't operate one. Oh and the drink itself? No espresso shots despite the order taker having me repeat the order twice. So that's all folks. No need to try again, three was quite enough. There's three Dunkin Donuts on this road as well as several other spots to stop for hot beverages that will get it right. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I went through the drive-thru and was there for about twenty mins. The girl taking the order seemed nervous and not at all like a people person. The baristas seemed to have more important life drama matters going on rather than doing their jobs and keeping the lines moving. Finally the girl at the window takes my money and put the 6 dollars in change on the counter.... Not in my hand. Like really? Wind happens you know? But anyways, my chai tea latte was fine, but the staff was so horrible the whole idea of convenience with a drive-thru was just not at all worth it. If you're in a hurry. Avoid at all costs. If you're looking for a place to keep your car parked in a line you can't escape and an inside view of real life soap opera this is your place. read more

I moved to Connecticut a few months ago and thought this Starbucks would be convenient since it's on my way to work, but I don't think I'll ever go back. It's been far from convenient. I've tried ordering inside and drive thru and can't get over how slow the service is. Today I waited in the drive thru line for half an hour (~6 cars ahead of me). When it was my turn to order it took five minutes for me to be acknowledged. I understand if they're busy, but they should at least acknowledge my presence and ask me to wait for a second. When I finally was able to place my order I pulled right around to the window as the cars in front of me had already gotten their drinks and left. Of course this meant I had to wait at the window for my drink to be made. The employee waited for my drink to be made to let me pay for it which just wasted more of my time. While I was waiting I could see into the store and there were several employees just screwing around with each other instead of focusing on getting the line in store and in the drive thru taken care of. As much as I love Starbucks it's not worth the constant 30 minute wait. Guess I'll only be getting my PSL on road trips! :( read more

If I could give less than one star, I would! Arrived two minutes to eight in the morning, on Thursday. Parking lot was pretty empty. 7-8 employees "working". We waited, first in line at the register for minutes, before the guy working the register even acknowledged us. Slow, slow, slow taking order, but that was just the beginning. The employees were all "busy" but no one seemed to be accomplishing anything. It was as if they were as spinning. No one was working together, they blamed each other for things, mocked customers' orders and genuinely didn't seem to recognize that there are customers. They were overly concerned with mobile orders, and yet each customer that came in for a mobile order, it was either wrong or not ready. How do I know? Because from the moment we walked I until my family's order was filled took 28 minutes. And two drinks were drop coffees. They were horrible. I left a message for the district manager....I hope she isn't surprised, but if she isn't, why isn't someone fixing this? read more
