A drive thru, excellent! Just what I need in the morning. I have to admit, they're pretty quick in the drive thru so it's not a bad option. A little slow on the mobile orders inside, but they're rather busy between 7-8am. I'm going to round this place up just for the drive through, but the few times I've been in my order has been incorrect. However, Bob is the LOVELIEST person ever and always makes the effort. This is a nice new Starbucks off base, about a mile away from the main gate to Norfolk Naval Base. It has a drive-thru and that's always a plus! My first time going through the drive-thru and it was during the evening. The voice behind the mic was cheerful and listened to my order and repeated back to me. A pleasant experience, compared to some of the more morose baristas I've dealt with at other locations..lol read more

Went through the drive-through today and was instantly greeted by a barista. My order was taken and the Barista was interactive making the experience pleasant. This is probably the worst Starbucks I've ever been to, I think I've gone probably 15 to 20 times here since they opened recently, and there has not been one time that I've had a good experience here. The issue? The drinks suck. Starbucks needs to get some experienced barista's from around the area, bring them in, and really train the employees at this locatuo correctly because I have not had one drink made correctly, or it was made correctly and the coffee just tasted terrible. And we're talking a simple drink off their menu with no substitutions. even a plain cold brew tasted like ass. read more

I go to this Starbucks probably 3-4 times a week, depending on the amount of people there, and I maybe get my drink right, THE FIRST TIME, about 20%. They're super nice about fixing it, but why can two people make it right the first time, but everyone else takes 2 or 3 times. My order isn't difficult. I like it extra hot and NO foam. Today I almost asked for the spoon so I could scoop out my own foam, they made it 3 times and didn't fill my cup all the way and there was still a lot of foam. I don't spend $6 on coffee most mornings to not get it right every time I go. I don't know if they're just rushing and think it's whatever, but i always check before I leave and today was ridiculous- half of my cup was foam. read more

Read previous reviews but had a different experience every single time I've visited. The Starbucks inside the nex gets my drink wrong every time and this location is more convenient for me since it's closer to the gate on base.. each and every time.. my drink is made with perfection. I go to this Starbucks location very often and every time it's either the perfect ratio of ingredients or I'm stuck with just drinking milk and syrup... The drive thru people are always very friendly though!! Not so much inside... they just ignore you when you're waiting at the register for 5 mins. Avoid this location if you are lactose intolerant. This is the only location I get sick after going to (I've tried more than once thinking it was a fluke). I think they use the same container to make the milk substitute drinks as the milk drinks. I have a serious stomach issue and after this Starbucks my day is absolutely ruined every time. I guess I'm the dumb one because I kept hoping I was getting sick from something else. Bottom line: to avoid dysentery please avoid the Hampton Starbucks. read more

Poor customer service. I received an improperly made drink after waiting at least 10 minutes for my mobile order. Instead of remaking my drink, she continued to make other orders. No apology. They just can't seem to get things correct. I gave them some slack the first week they were open but it's months later and not much has changed. Half the time my relatively simple order is wrong. That have also been out of cold brew 3 of the 5 times I've ordered it. Your entire business is selling coffee. You can't be out of coffee on a regular basis. read more

I have never had an issue with the people working here. Uber eats forgot my drink so I called to see if it was still there and they said yes. They said they'll make me a new drink and give me my money back which they didn't have to do! The drinks are amazing and the people are great! read more
