There were three servers behind the counter, and they all did their best to serve everyone the best way that they can. I was impressed that they were courteous even when dealing with fuzzy customers like me. For that, I applaud their effort. I ended up getting the Caramel Kiss shake and loved it. Since I was craving for a milkshake, the concoction was perfect and fulfilling. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to try their other frozen drinks and ice cream.

The Syniki pancakes were tiny little cheesecakes, delicious but like a dessert and SMALL. It was not even served with a side of fruit at least to make up for the size (and price). The Shakashuka at least came with two rolls of bread, but it was only 2 eggs in the pan. The sauce was delicious, I wish it came with a side of salad or potatoes to justify paying $15 for 2 eggs. I think I wouldn't be a annoyed about the price, if it wasn't that we also got kicked out of our table. We were finishing our drinks and had not even paid, when they literally started moving our things to the side because "they needed our table for a big party." We ended up figuring out the bill standing up while the party was sat and we awkwardly tried to get our purses to pay. Thankfully our friends had the table next to us, so some people squeezed in, but it was so odd. I will say, that two people complained about the portion sizing and not liking their meal and were given macaroons. Which is funny because they didn't like their meals because they thought their Syniki pancakes were too sweet. Anyways, it was only my first time there, and maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, and we were a large party so maybe I'll give it a try another time.

Both were not just served but presented beautifully on wooden boards. We had to try the Syrniki and were delighted. You aren't going to find over the top portions here, but the meals are satisfying and prepared with fresh quality ingredients. The berries on the Syrniki were huge, juicy and tasty. Flourish is not your daily breakfast spot but definitely one we recommend and will revisit on occasion.

My only nit which doesn't impact their star rating is that they should consider offering sushi burritos. They can use the same checklist as their build your own poke bowl and they have wrapping seaweed from their sushi offerings. It would be an easy and welcome addition.

I ordered a Blue Royale Smoothie, and as the only customer in the house, took a table in the corner overlooking the entire operation and the sunny world outside. It was primarily a blueberry concoction, with several other healthy ingredients mixed in, and presented after blending as a deep purple slurry. It was cool and delicious and encouraged a slow pull on the straw to stretch out the enjoyment. I took a final suck 30 minutes later; that's how good it was. I will return in the morning for their steel cut oatmeal and perhaps the avocado toast. Just wish they brewed organic coffee for those of us with caffeine needs. Too, Pure Green would be an unchallenged social benefit if they found a way to reduce plastics in their products.
