Nice coffee shop with tons of seating and parking. I had a business meeting here and found it to be a great spot for that.

I love coming to this Starbucks location prior to beginning my work day. This is supposed to be a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. I could tell it was made very quickly and lacked a few essential components (as shown in above photo). Here is what was missing from this Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino: - Ground up chocolate bits/coffee beans mixed in the drink - Chocolate sauce and chocolate bits on the whipped cream - Hardly any whipped cream on top and no whipped cream at the base I saw the drink being made and said a prayer that it was not for me. Stopped in to Starbucks before we head out to this building for work. No coffee for me today, went with my favorite Green Tea Lemonade for the Win! When we arrived in the parking lot, apparently we were at the rear entrance, so it's a little confusing set up from the outside. However when you get inside, you witness this amazing setup. Like probably one of the best designed setups that I've been to. They have this area that looks to have been setup for meetings and getting work done, it's like it's own room. The work benches have electrical outlets and USB ports on them! That is a great setup. My colleagues and I were amazed by this as we hadn't seen any like that one. It had a great feel to the place, the barista was nice and my beverage is delicious as usual! Man I love Starbucks! read more

Why does Star$$$ coffee always taste burnt? This is always my problem with Green Mermaid coffee. The house coffee, without the benefit of heavy doctoring into lattes, capps, etc., is close to awful - harsh, bitter, skin peeling. After being reformulated into the expensive brew, they are good drinks. But, should you have to forgo the basics and rely on alchemy to be able to drink their stuff? Just asking. The bakery goods are very nice, and the oatmeal breakfast is way above average. The former Rexall never looked this good. This is a great place to meet someone, and sit for a while. The bench sitters out front may take that idea to an extreme. So, how to rate when there is so much going on and such extreme divergence of quality and experience? "Meh," doesn't really reflect the gestalt. "Yay!" is really going too far. "OK," is just about right. read more

Unless you order your drink ahead of time via the app, don't expect to get your drink in a timely manner...even if the place is dead and you are the only person waiting for an in-store ordered drink. There is no sense of urgency to any of the aforementioned drink-making and they seem to be consistently understaffed, or the staff isn't managed properly. You've got three people taking orders/warming food, but only one making drinks. The renovation of last year is unwelcoming (probably done on purpose) and it no longer has the small-town feel it once had. Oh, and the flooring they chose to put down shows everything and it is beyond dirty every time I go in. This store is going to take a hit once the new one opens over near McCaffrey's, especially if they can't get their crap together. read more

Starbucks in Newtown Pa. seems to be slacking in its cleanliness - the trash is always overflowing and the counters are always a mess. It doesn't take long to clean up every once in a while - not once a day. Also I have been to other Starbucks in Hamilton NJ - Doylestown & Yardley and why is the Newtown Starbucks the only one that takes away the milk containers from the section where you fix up your coffee. If these issues have been taken care of that's great if not, there is always Dunkin Donuts, or maybe it's time for a Saxby's to come to town. read more

The remodel is awful. Sterile and not friendly or inviting for hanging out. Most likely this is by design by someone to drive more traffic through and discourage long stays. I am giving this a four star rating as far assuming that an "average" Starbucks is three stars. This Starbucks compared to others has a really relaxed, inviting, vibe and ample seating but what it gains in atmosphere it lacks in customer service. There are long waits for drinks and most of the staff seems pretty inexperienced. With that said it is a cozy spot that is a great option to meet a friend at either after or before taking a walk at Tyler State Park. read more

This is a pretty good Starbucks. It is in a great location (state street), so if you feel like taking a stroll with your coffee and popping into some cute local shops, you are in the right place! It is also a nice atmosphere to sit down and do your work. My only complaint is that it is always so busy that when I place an order ahead through the app, there is typically a longer wait than other locations. But overall a great experience! read more

You know, I've had some irritating experiences (i.e. not seeing my cup by the Clover and therefore making 20 minutes' worth of drink orders before I showed them my cup sitting there), but overall, this is a great Starbucks location. I've been to countless Starbucks all over the country, and I find it very fortunate that my favorite is right down the road. The baristas are friendly, the drinks are made with accuracy, and they work quickly (which is important for such a busy location). read more

This is the best Starbucks I have ever been to. And I have been to many! I think it is the location, the staff and the patrons - the vibe is always welcoming and people are really nice in there. The exposed stone, the comfy seating and the community board all make you feel like this Starbucks is more than a chain. Two things I would point out - the music is gone (where did it go??) and the bench seating is old/broken and should be replaced ASAP. Address these things & you get 5 stars from me!! read more

This Starbucks is one of the busiest you'll see in Bucks County. It's THE hang-out spot in Newtown. Starbucks is Starbucks, but at this one, the staff couldn't be nicer and, more importantly, they get the drinks right. There's a good amount of seating for the space for individuals as well as groups who'd prefer to sit at larger tables. The only gripe is that it attracts the teens late at night, so around that time it can get a little loud/annoying. But as long as you hit it before 8, you're in the clear. read more

Very crowded and hopping Starbucks in hipster Newtown area of Bucks. If you are into people watching, especially attractive young yuppies, this is the Best of the Bucks Starbucks to go to. Seems popular with the college age crowd on the weekends and the working crowd during the week. But If you like a quieter environment to drink your latte, this probably would not be the best of the Bucks County Starbucks to go to. Food case could be bigger and the seating area is small and cramped. (Although they do have a smaller outcave to the side for seating with few extra seats. Parking can be difficult especially on the weekends as it's all off street and always crowded. Bathrooms could also be cleaned more often i found. This location does the job I guess if you just want a Starbucks drink and go but other than that, there are better Starbucks in Bucks in my opinion! read more

This Starbucks is very often super busy. I have rarely come when the line is not a mile long. So I am so glad Starbucks came out with an order ahead option on their app. The seating can get a little tight, but usually you can get a seat. On the weekends, all manner of Newtownian folk come out, and it is hilarious to eavesdrop on their conversations. The nice thing is there is a large parking lot in the back, so access is easy. read more

So I go to the counter and order a coffee Along with what I think will be a huge slice of lemon poundcake :-) But instead of the counter girl grabbing it from the counter display like she had with other products for other customer she pulled a different piece out of a draw and it was a sliver in comparison to the display piece. So I said "oh man I was hoping for that one" She just kept quiet and finished the transaction,I let it go thinking well I don't need the extra calories anyway. So I sit and start drinking the java and bite into the sliver I was given and think to myself " I took the bait" it Wasn't about cheating people on the size it was stale product they where moving... This Starbucks is the average Starbucks. Lots of area for seating, indoor and outdoor. Staff is friendly and somewhat attentive. I ordered a tea, and had the cash in my hand. The barista decided to leave me hanging and made my tea first. I wish he would have taken my cash. The board that shows what Starbucks offers is a bit disorganized. I felt confused as to know what to order.also, staff does not know their product. My friend asked for a Vanilla Steamer, but the barista at the counter had no idea what that was. If it wasn't for the manager my friend would not have gotten what she wanted because the staff does not know their product!!!!!!! read more

Whenever I order no foam it gets handed to me with about an inch of foam on top which I end up scooping off with a napkin so I pay $4-5 for a half full drink. Everything about this is standard in regards to quality of the product. The staff could be more pleasant but it really variates depending on the shift. All of that aside, the remodel stole the old comfort this Starbucks always had in its atmosphere. It has an uncomfortable feeling now and they removed a lot of seating so it's prone to getting more crowded and it won't be a great place to study or relax like before.
