This is a great spot to grab a coffee on the run, the drive thru is really quick too. Very friendly staff and honestly with the Starbucks card and app why not get deals discounts and free drinks so do yourself a favor stop by grab something. The outside seating is great too so try it. read more

Normally I am not someone to take the time out of my day to compose a rude review. However, I waited 45 minutes for my mobile order today and was treated awful in the process. I understand that it can get extremely busy between in person, mobile, and drive thru orders but that is no excuse to act rude and unprofessional towards customers. After 15 minutes of waiting I politely asked, " excuse me i don't mean to bother you but could you check on my mobile order "? The worker who's tag read "Bri" asked me for my name and told me my ticket didn't even come out of the printer yet. Another 20 minutes goes by and I decided I've had enough as I'm leaving I take one more glance at the counter and see my drink. "Bri" put it on the opposite side of the counter and after telling her my name she still didn't acknowledge that i was there nor called it out loud. She rolled her eyes at me before I left as a nice goodbye. So unprofessional and sad to see miserable employees taking it out on other people. Never know what someone is going through! read more

What a dump. Came here twice this week and the place is so dirty. A bunch of kids working here and nobody thinks to clean up the place. Sloppy service. My food was placed on the counter twice with food and water or coffee spilled all over the counter. Nobody bothers to clean up. When I complained they said sorry and just continued without bothering to clean. Filthy. No thank you. Don't bother coming here. read more

How can you go into a coffee shop and they don't have coffee? No coffee brewed. Plus the music was very loud so talking with a mask on required yelling just to find out they have no coffee. read more

Very impressed on how the staff handle all our orders when our bus pulled up. The young ladies were efficient in taking our orders and getting them prepared. We had about a 40 minute breakfast break and everything was done well. read more

Avoid this Starbucks if you can. They are nasty and slam the drive thru window in your face. Being understaffed doesn't equal to being rude. They also had the lobby closed and since I already paid for my mobile order was forced to wait in the long drive thru line which made me late. You place a mobile order because you don't have the time to wait. Rude staff and poor management. read more

I love Starbucks. I have been going to Starbucks for years and I spend a lot of money there as well. For the last 3 visits to Starbucks I have placed mobile orders through the app. And each time I order my coffee and a Ham and Cheese Croissant the app doesn't state that they are sold out. So I assume they have it. Every time I get to the window to my surprise they do boy and they offer me a refund or something else. If I wanted something else I would have ordered it but since I don't I choose the refund. I think this store locations should have more supply of this breakfast sandwich since it seems to be very popular and they should work on having the app updated so People will not believe that this item is available. So disappointed read more

Walked in for coffee and was not greeted when ordering. I said hello first then paused to see if I would get a hello back and didn't. The gentleman, Damien (to be exact) stared at me and so I gave my order. I said "Grande coffee frappacino with whip cream." Then received my drink from the person who took my order and there was no whip cream. I asked if he could put whip cream and so he took my drink back then talked back saying, "When I asked if you wanted whip cream you said no." No sweetheart I said what I said with a straight forward order and I said no to not wanting a receipt. So I appreciate Damien's attitude today at Starbucks route 300 Newburgh. read more

By far my favorite Starbucks. Quick service, great drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. Bartistas make great drinks! read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Newburgh, New York

See all

There is garbage all around the outside, they throw the garbage bags from inside just outside the door for you to gaze at in the drive up line, and the coffee here is always so so. I feel I wasted my money here. It's too bad. I'll just keep walking into target around the corner and get my coffee there or getting McDonald's drive thru coffee. read more

We went here several times and they are consistently really good and great customer service. When they are training a new person, they went above and beyond to make sure the coffee and wait time were good. read more

Sat in line for about 20 minutes at the order screen and ordered a strawberry açaí with passion tea and when I got it, it was very watered down and didn't have passion tea like I asked for. read more

If you want an attitude from the window cashier, and a forever long wait, this is the perfect Starbucks to go to. I've come here a few times within the last few years and it's always the same. read more

The employee behavior is disgusting. Rude and unprofessional. No manager on site. Thought it was a one time bad experience so stopped in again. Worse the second time. Better off heading inside a Target. read more

This place has contracted covid at least 3 times just this year (2021). I always do a mobile order but it takes twice as long to do that than to just go through the drive thru. It's always an absolute mess read more

came into the establishment, not expecting anything spectacular and received just this. This starbucks is relatively small compared to other SB, probably around ~ 600 square ft. I ordered a iced tall caramel machiato, while my gf ordered a lemon pound cake and small coffee. while our coffee were mediocre (as expected), the service was atrocious, the staff were not attentive at all, chatting away about their personal lives, totally disinterested in the customers, my gf had to ask for her pound cake twice! when we were the only two customers in the whole place! read more

I've been coming here for the past year or so. Everyone's friendly and always get my order correct. But then I usually just get my coffee black but regardless the service is great and will frequent this Starbucks. And also getting the app to pay for food and coffee doesn't hurt either to earn points and get free stuff. No complaints here! read more

Starbucks - Usually just get a black coffee when I come here but when I walk in they get it ready for me before I order. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Newburgh, New York

I usually go to this Starbucks location but when I went this morning they were out of everything. I've had this problem with this location as it is very obviously not restocked often enough. My issue though is not with the fact that they were out of everything. My issue is with the way I was treated by the girl, Hannah, when they were out of the things I wanted. She was extremely nasty and rude. While she may have been having a bad day, customers who have been nothing but nice should be treated better than that. read more

Civility and efficiency goes out the window when this location gets busy. My wife and I placed an order at the counter yesterday. Her drink was ready in minutes. Mine took over 20 minutes. They lose track of the sequence orders are placed and it is difficult to get anyone's attention to alert them to an issue. When I did I first get a blank stare by one barista and was later told by another barista that "we are busy". Orders placed after mine were being completed. Another customer was was in the same boat as me and was also expressing frustration with an incomplete order. No exaggeration 20 minutes later and after speaking to a barista who claimed to be a manager I was finally wordlessly handed my drink by the so called manager. The worst part is that it was far from the first time this has happened read more

Seriously this is the slowest Starbucks. I just went at 6:10 am and it seems like they are so unprepared to start the day. It takes like 5 minutes to get a coffee with no line inside or out They need to look at who they hire.... most of my coworkers have a running joke about how long it takes to place an order at this place. read more

Typical Starbucks. Good sized space, lots of outdoor seating, large parking lot, I've seen friendlier sbx staff but they are not unfriendly and it is after all Newburgh :) read more

This is quite possibly one of the worst Starbucks in the area. The workers are always messing up my orders. Today I asked for a large coffee with cream and sugar. Got home to find out that they gave me a black coffee. Another incident that really made me wonder why I ever even come to this Starbucks, was when I asked them for a medium green tea... and they put THREE green tea bags in the medium cup and OVERFLOWED the cup so that when I went to take a sip the lid fell off and half of the boiling water fell all over my thighs. This place is ridiculous. They need to hire more careful workers who pay attention to the needs of their customers. read more

Starbucks in Newburgh has been disappointing for the past five months I have been going. I returned to see if something changes unfortunately it gets worse. In the beginning it was only going and not finding what is advertised. Then the staff has gone down in service quality. Today I walk in with my husband and Carlos was at the register looks at us and starts talking to the blond that is mopping the floor (sorry she had no name tag) then continue on the register and walked away. There was no acknowledgment that we were there. No welcome nor how may I help you. When we decide to leave the blond asks what will you have/like? This is not what I expect when i am paying more than five dollars for each coffee. Some changes need to happen for this place to be what it was. The workers need people skills. Maybe some extra trainings on how to work with people and make a store better. read more

Two things I have yet to see at this Starbucks: a genuine smile or a welcoming hello. Often times I can stand at the register without being acknowledged or given any kind of any eye contact. The barista will come up and aggressively say "what can I get for you?". Seriously, what is up with this place? This location consistently has a bad attitude and poorly made drinks..... read more

Great location, clean, stocked &, from what I've seen, a fantastic group of people behind the counter. The staff has been helpful and kind to me and my 3 children on each visit. During the Holidays, I was impressed to see the guy manning the drive through window doing a funny Holiday trivia game with the customers. He and the rest of the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy their job serving customers, making it an enjoyable stop on my busy day. Then there was today, when I noticed that I had left behind my, paid for, ground pound of Pike Place 3 days ago, I called expecting a "sorry! no sign of it" but instead got "we've got it! it was put aside and is waiting for you." Awesome. Thanks Starbucks! You've got our business for sure! read more

This particular Starbucks has been dealing with my bullshit for about 6 years ( since i could drive ) from forgetting my wallet and still giving me my coffee for free or not knowing how to use my mobile app they have been super nice and always making sure I'm hyped up on caffeine for my 7am shifts at the hospital thank you Starbucks in Newburgh when god made angels he gave them a nametag and barista skills read more

Went in for a quick latia, order and then hen grabbed lunch found the servers to be not rude but not friendly. Which is surprising because the Fishkill, Poughkeepsie, locations are all very nice and helpful. This place reminds me of the high school or young college students who don't care about basic common courtesy or a friendly greeting. read more

This is one of the better Starbucks' (plural of Starbucks?) in the area. Great outdoor seating! Friendly service, but seems to be a training location because they always seem to have someone in there in training. Still, fast service! read more

As a former Starbucks employee, I'm impressed by this location. It's one of the most consistently good Starbucks that I've been to. Friendly and helpful staff that seem to always be on top of their game, from making quality drinks to maintaining a stocked and presentable store. read more

My husband ordered a large iced coffee and a brownie after using their restroom. The majority if the coffee ended up in a trash can at Quick Chek in Middletown because he said it was sour and nasty. The staffs are usually nice, did get into a problem with refilling my tea before, but it seems to me many starbucks' staffs don't know their policy of refills; it says on their website "regardless of previous purchase". But other than that, everything was good. The line does get really long in some mornings tho. read more

The coffee tastings on Saturday nights are the best thing in the world! I love attending.

For us out of staters traveling thru on the interstate this was not worth the 20 min detour. The coffee was far worse than usual Starbucks quality -- very weak and disappointing. Not easy to access off of 84. Stuck in a weird little plaza off Rt 300 with very limited entrance and exit options. But they seem to do a huge drive-thru business. Must be for local commuters mostly. read more

The cashier was new and had no idea what he was doing but he got my order right and I loved him for that.
