Frequent Starbucks goer. I had a frustrating experience while traveling along 95 today. Ordered on my mobile app, waited 15 minutes before asking when my order would be up. There was one person making drinks and managing drive thru, and two others not doing much of anything as far as I could tell. I spoke with an older woman who said they didn't have my order (without checking first), and then looked through the tickets and said it was in fact there - but there were 8 orders in front of it. During that 15 min I never saw any orders come up except for one for the drive thru. Wasn't able to stay to see how long that could possibly take. Super unhelpful, left without my drink. read more

This is an easy on/ easy off stop along route 95 north and south. It took a little bit of effort to find the store, since it's not at either end of the parking lot, rather a standalone building in the middle of the parking lot. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. I especially like they produced drip coffee by the batch rather than individual cups one at a time. read more

My husband needed a caffeine pick-me-up, so we stopped inside Starbucks while driving down I-95 South on route to D.C. This drive-thru Starbucks is in the same lot as the Biden Welcome Center. When you enter the lot, drive past the Welcome Center and keep you eyes to the right - you'll see the stand alone Starbucks drive-thru structure. I hopped out of the car and went inside. I placed my order at the register. From what I saw, it appears more of the operation is set up for the drive-thru, with more staff manning the window and prepping drinks for those orders. There was one person at the instore register. He was friendly and I got my husband's hot coffee fairly timely. This was late August, so the place was busy with customers. Even though the pull is that this is a drive-thru Starbucks, the indoor seated area was nice - clean, neat, pretty modern looking. The building may look small from the outside, but the tables and seats are spaced where it doesn't feel cramped, so you if you are here with your family or small kids, it's possible to do a pit stop in there without too much hassle. No word on the BATHROOM though because I just ordered drinks, but I noticed they are TO THE RIGHT WHEN YOU ENTER. This Starbucks checks all the boxes and does the job... My colleague and I stoped at the welcome center and decided to stop by the Starbucks before getting on the road as we still had a long way to go. We should have used the drive through because ordering inside...there was a long line and it took a while for us to get our order. If we were in a rush, I'd have been annoyed. read more

WORST possible service, PAINFULLY SLOW, THE MOST INCOMPETENT staff. Ordered Oatmilk shaken espresso, extra cinnamon, extra shot, 1 extra pump brown sugar, vanilla cold foam. Someone FINALLY got to my order to start making it. He stopped to read out my name 7 times. Proceeds to read the label 4 times out loud then pulled espresso. Then Read the label 2 more times. Then added ice. Then Read the label 3 more times then added syrup, which the first pump completed missed the cup. Then read the label 2 more times then filled the cup with oatmilk to the brim. Then tapped the cinnamon shaker once, completely missing the cup. He handed the cup to me, repeating my name twice. I am beyond angry at this point. I said you forgot vanilla cold foam. He sucked his teeth, rolled his eyes RE-read the label twice, rolled his eyes and handed my cup over to someone else, who had to empty 1/4 of the cup to add the foam on top. This whole process took exactly 38 minutes. I am beyond furious. Skipped stopping at Maryland House and Chesapeake Welcome center just so I can have a Starbucks drink. Please beware of this location! I ordered a mobile order more than 30 minutes before closing, and the doors were locked. Seems like the workers closed up early without any consideration for their customers. They were packing up inside and would not open the doors for me so that I could get a refund. When I was on the phone with customer service, I saw the employees walk by me and go into their cars to leave without any apology. Truly have never seen anything like this. read more

This is the drive through. Slugs move quicker than this Starbucks. Hitting 20 minutes in line with only 5 cars ahead of me when I pulled up. Lord, I made a mistake going here. But the line for Dunkin's inside was too long and cash only so I took a chance at the drive through. This was an epic fail. I hope o do not run out of gas while in queue. En route to New York, the BoltBus driver gave us a 15-minute bathroom and food break so it behooved me to make use of this given how cramped and uncomfortable the bus was. The Starbucks is a medium-size kiosk without any walls, much similar to those in the center of malls under escalators, elevators, and stairwells. It must get busy because there was a dedicated line delineated with a rope like at an airport. There was no one in line around 1:30 pm on a Friday. The cashier was friendly, in a good mood, and took my order and spelled my name right! It's really the little things in life. The barista was matter-of-fact and stoic and called out my name and handed me the drink, a venti white chocolate mocha. The flavors were consistently Starbucks-awesome and it was served hot. Visited this location on July 7, 2024. From my experience it was the most unorganized, chaotic, and worst service I have witnessed in a Starbucks. Customers were already waiting long periods of time and complaining to the baristas. I witnessed several customer want to cancel their order which the baristas shrugged and responded with a careless effect. Some customers walked out on their order. In my case, the order came one by one and on my fourth drink the barista didn't make what I had ordered instead just made a drink to hand out. At this point, I walked out. Had to retrieve my account to complaint my experience here today 05/19/2024 12:16pm with the lady who was taking drive through order /cashier. When I order my oleato golden form which I ordered a dozen times at other locations, I specifically make sure with her no dairy. Then the drink came with heavy cream on top, I asked her and she said "it comes with the drink" with attitude. I insist her to re do it since I have severe reaction with dairy/lactose. She went back, pour the drink angrily and make a new drink herself within 10-15 second. The drink looked so different. I am really skeptical about it but chose to trust Starbucks and humanity. I LOVE Roy Rogers. It is my number 1 fast food joint. No other fast food place has the quality roast beef sandwiches RR has. My husband worked there in HS and continues to want to eat there. The quality and consistency of food was great then and continues. Fried chicken is very good and the Double R Bar burger too. As I was coming back from New Jersey, I stopped by here for some coffee before hitting the Baltimore metro area. This SB location is attached to the gas station along the way, sitting in the center between the northbound and southbound lanes. As it was raining hard, most people were using the drive thru. I didn't want to wait, and I like the rain (especially since we rarely get it in Southern California nowadays), so I walked the 25 meters in the pouring rain to the front door. It was quite a refreshing walk. I walked in and ordered my iced latte. The cashier had an upbeat personality. They processed my drink pretty fast as well. While they were making my drink, I made a pit stop. I can saw that this store is kept pretty clean. A good experience, and a convenient one. read more
