You can always find a place to seat outside. Store very friendly. There were 6ppl working around 11am. No one was about to order and I wait about 3min when the cashier got me. There were about 5ppl waiting for their orders. My order came after 5min. If you're rush, I don't think you should come and order here. I saw ppl got frustrated for their drinks. Outside seating is gorgeous view in Manhattan between the East river. Bathroom is very clean and quiet big.

On our way to the north end of Roosevelt Island, my friend spotted this Starbucks and told me that she'd like to stop there. So as we made our way back, we grabbed another free ride on the Red Bus that stops almost immediately in front. Thankfully, this Starbucks has a public restroom and it was surprisingly clean. There is a code to enter but the code is posted on the door. While I took care of my business, my friend queued up and got an iced green tea. We sat outside and enjoyed the tea and the sunshine, which was only partially interrupted by a brief rainshower as the apartment on the roof watered their plants and missed. Nice Starbucks, comfy location, long queue. [Review 15675 overall - 268 in New York - 1179 of 2021.]

Very nice Starbucks location not too far from the tram ans subway station. One of the nicer ones I have seen lately. Cool art on the walls, a lounge-like back room with comfy chairs, tables, and outlets to charge up your phone. Terrific cold AC on a hot day. Fast and friendly baristas. There is also an outside patio seating area with umbrellas over the tables.

Best Starbucks in nyc. Love getting my matcha here. Manager and baristas are always having a great energy, the ambiance is chill and store is always clean despite the amount of tourists and people they receive. Michelle is the best barista ever

This is a great Starbucks with fantastic views of the Queensboro Bridge and Manhattan. They have a pretty large outdoor seating area surrounded by flowers. We really enjoyed sitting back and relaxing for a while after all the walking we had done that day. A perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff was very friendly and the drinks were the quality you expect from Starbucks. I really liked the inside as well but unfortunately the indoor seating area is not currently open.

This Starbucks is quite small compare to other Starbucks in the city. However, they are quick on making drinks when you use the Starbucks app. Plus it is only Starbucks on Roosevelt Island which is right behind the F train. They also have outdoor sitting area as well. Also, yesterday one of the baristas was kind enough to remake one of my drink which was missing. I am pleased with the service they provided. I do wish they sell more of the new pineapple/ paradise refreshers. Yesterday was first and last I was able to buy from them. I know it is popular this summer tho. Hopefully they restocked again soon.

This particular Starbucks is the only Starbucks on Roosevelt Island so...it's my go to when visiting my family here. I happened to catch the first day of Pumpkin Spice drinks and treats so I chose a pumpkin scone. It's delicious although it packs a LOT of calories. This location is pretty small in comparison to all the ones in my hometown area but they still offer most everything. The baristas have been very friendly and prepare the tasty drinks quickly.

I went here this morning the cashier Taya took my order I asked for something to keep me up and make it with carmel. She made me a blonde with a shot of expresso. So good. I am now at work happy! Overall the service was good, quick considering this was my first time going to this starbucks location .will be back soon

I had an easy and quick experience getting my drink this morning. The spot can get pretty crowded as the island get some tourists, so it might be a good idea to order ahead on the app. This is a pretty small Starbucks location. It's one of the few places to grab a cup of coffee on the island. There are some tables to sit outside. There's also a restroom.

    "Caramel frappe"

As with many stores music is too loud, i know im getting old. Normally 2-3 associates but somehow no one looks at the line and take a few minutes to get an order in. And once you do get ready to wait your sweet time only for your order NOT to be right. Today I ordered a caramel frappe hoping to have SOME coffee on it. All i got was an attitude and milk, ice and caramel.

    Hehehe.. One wasn't enough.. :P

This is the Starbucks location where I work on Roosevelt Island. Pros: -Great location, situated right next to the subway station, and within easy walking distance to a pizzeria, a Bar & Grill and a Sushi restaurant. -Clean and well maintained. -Lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor Cons: -A lot of the seasonal specials, for example, the Pumpkin Spice specials they have, run out very quickly OR they just don't have them available at all! Disappointing.. -Sometimes they'll have 1 person making the drinks and 1 cashier, or I've even seen 1 person doing both cashier and drink making.. So the wait can get pretty long.

Very convenient to grab and go in the morning but the line can get long during morning rush. It is conveniently near the metro though.

They have a table to pickup preorders so you don't have to wait in the main line. I ordered a dozen for $39. You can select your assortment. Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.

When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

We were a little late for our reservation, and they gave our table away, which was quite annoying. However, the service, hospitality, and food more than made up for it. Someone came over to apologize for the mix up and offered us complimentary white wine while we waited for another table to open up. The wine was delicious! When we were finally seated, we started with some drinks. I got the Speranza, and it was light, fresh, and delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bread basket brought to the table, as it's a rarity in nyc these days. We split a burrata amongst the table. Loved the addition of figs. I ordered the rigatoni all'aragosta for my dish, which was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. There was a decent portion of lobster in the dish, and I couldn't even finish all of it, I was so full. One of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while. My friends ordered the bolognese and the fettuccine alla nerano, and they enjoyed their dishes as well! We skipped dessert this time, but I would definitely be back for it. I also want to try the paccheri next time, as well as their coffee shop in the mornings! Overall, a well executed restaurant with great ambience (would be great for a date night with the dim lighting and ability to hear each other speak). The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.
