Quality standard starbucks in a QFC. Quick to help me, they take the rewards cards, and are very friendly!

My wallet won't let me come here often, but when I do, it's a fun treat that most other places…read moredon't offer. They have a regular menu but also a seasonally changing menu of themed drink options that are so fun to try! And getting the works (added cost) gets you the fun toppings of whipped creams, cookies, cakes, candy, whatever else they can fit on the top of your drink. A couple things to note: the drinks take a minute to make, so don't expect to walk or drive up and be on your way in a jiffy. They're also expensive - I got an iced 16oz drink with the works and it was over $10 before tip; not getting the fun toppings might drop your total by $1.50-2 but it's still a pricey visit. That being said, I'm giving 4 stars because once you're prepared for the wait and accept the prices, it's a fun treat and the staff are always friendly. The drinks are hit or miss for me - I'm not the biggest fan of coffee, so I don't care for the drinks that are coffee forward, but I like trying the fun seasonal flavors so I try to go at least once per season.

I get why this place is popular, unique drink flavors, an extensive menu, and pretty drinks. But…read moreeither I've just gone on the wrong days, or this place is just really inconsistent with the way they make their drinks. This time when I visited, I ordered a 12oz with the works, and it was expensive, but I was willing to give it a try. The drink was super pretty and came with a ton of whipped cream and peanut butter drizzle, which I was happy about. However, the coffee was insanely bitter, and I usually like strong coffee, but I couldn't handle this one for some reason. And it kinda felt like they just tossed on the most random toppings. Like for example, really stale cookie dough pieces (don't get me wrong, I love cookie dough, but these were inedible; like they had been sitting out uncovered for days), a plain ladyfinger, etc. Not sure if I'd go again, might consider it if there's a seasonal offering I like and I'm in the area.

I've seen a few yelp reviews say this place is a little ummmm pretentious or overhyped, well yes they don't do customizations and they really don't want you on your phones when you order but honestly, their drinks are just worth it I always order their Wiener Schokolade in the smallest size and that's only because I do like the strong taste of the coffee when its smaller and don't want to over indulge (it does get sweeter when you order the larger sizes, and remember what I said about no customization) We also had a croissant, it was fine as an accompaniment but nothing amazing.

In long We have a lot of appointments each week that leave me with time to spend as I choose; getting a cup of coffee in the morning and trying a new place is fun. And here I go again with more top marks after one visit. They're in one of the smaller huts and they're right next to one of the busier 2-lane stretches you can find around here. Ferry traffic and bedroom-community commuters must flood by here. I pulled in around lunchtime and they still have a customer on the other side--2 baristas, 2 windows. The kid who helped me just radiated warmth and kindness. She's a natural for talking to people. She leaned down and worked herself around in the window to make sure she was seeing and hearing me. There's only so much you can do in a coffee hut to seem super nice and thoughtful, and most people go the super-caffeinated, extra-vivacious route. I dug the change of pace here. Hippie warmth and community vibes, without all the moonbeam sparkles. Anyway, the Americano was just great. Maybe one or two ticks toward the roastier side that so many people love so much, but still in my wheelhouse. Under $5, which seems the standard. It was ready in two shakes of a lamb's tail and I was on my way down to the lighthouse to stare at the misty waters.

My wife wanted a lighter breakfast so went with the continental breakfast which came with eggs to order, banana bread, and fruit. The huevos rancheros was very tasty! It's definitely something that I would order again, although I would still like to try the avocado toast as well. At many other tables, I could see traditional breakfast fare such as french toast or pancakes that also looked tasty. My wife gave me a taste of the banana bread and it was delicious! Thick cut like texas toast, and much less dense than homemade banana bread that I am used to. Alas, the server said they might discontinue it, and that they didn't have a recipe but probably ordered it. Shame, now I must find this delicious banana bread! This is a small local chain, but I certainly wish they had a franchise down in the Portland area!

I got a steak and eggs, and it was so disappointing, texture felt like I was chewing on a piece of leather, for $21 it was not worth it at all and honestly I doubt my steak was 6oz. My husband got the sandwiches and said they were nothing special and that $14 was way too expensive for what he got.

If I lived nearby it'd be my regular stop, especially before commuting. In long I had an hour to kill and definitely a caffeine shortage happening. This is easy to find right off the very busy avenue that is 19th. The guy ahead of me might've been buying for the whole fire station or something--he had the union sticker on his truck and his order took a while. But the barista here was actually quick. My Americano was ready in maybe a minute and a half at the most, all filled with friendly chitchat. The poor thing was next to that huge open window on a 32-degree day, trying to survive in a sweatshirt. Credit to her, 'cause she was cheerful and funny the whole time. There's everything to like about this place for sure. Looks like they make some much-fancier drinks, too, but I'm always Mr Basic in the cup (even though I do seek out fancy beans sometimes).
