Stopped at this Starbucks today & instead of doing a mobile order I decided to place my order face to face. The staff was preoccupied discussing how badly they felt for a customer that lost her car key. I left with a drink made incorrectly at fault of the person taking my order. I returned 4 hours later to have my drink remade. I was greeted by Milton who saw I was unhappy and did everything to make my experience a positive one. 4 stars for a fantastic & accommodating manager. Ok so I stop in at Starbucks in Merrick NY, I order a Vente iced brown sugar oat milk espresso and a piece of lemon pound cake, the order came to $10 and change, all I wanted was my coffee as it is ( to me) extremely good, but the amount of ice they gave me was ridiculous, I don't stop at Starbucks for a cup of ice!!! So they give me my drink, no piece of cake which is the easier part of the order anyway to stop blabbing that my story, I mean listen all I want is a decent cup of coffee and a small piece of cake, I don't think I'm asking too much??? Also the place is spotless, and I know things happen but come on it's like a $7 of $8 cup of Coffee, make it work please . RUDE and Entitled! The female "supervisor" there needs a reality check or should be fired. She complained about my mask as it wasnt a "medical mask" It was a regular mask with pretty pink details like some females wear. Keep your opinion to your miserable self. I filed a complaint to Darlene who works at the corporate headquarters & to the regional manager. They confirmed to me there are no NO rules or laws on what type of mask to wear inside the store!! I have always been kind in there but the staff has a chip on their shoulder and takes it out on the customers, sorry that's enough for me. I went into this Starbucks (Merrick Road in Merrick , NY)after having an extremely difficult week. I needed a lift. I was one of two customers in the store. Right after I ordered , a lot of customers came in and it got very busy. After patiently waiting for about 10 minutes, while watching everyone else grab their coffee, I inquired about my order. The young man behind the counter snapped at me rudely "Give me a second". I waited another 5 minutes for a simple food item to be warmed. Only to have the barista return and tell me "oh sorry, we don't have that item anymore ". He proceeded to ask if would like another item, or a refund. I requested a refund. He then asked for my card. I told him that I had paid cash. He then told me he would give me store credit. By this point I was so upset that I didn't want to be rude. So I accepted it. The whole experience made me furious, however , I was able to laugh about it later. Just the fact that I am writing this makes me realize how dumb the whole encounter was. This gentlemen was rude and incompetent. I will never go to this location again. It really can make a difference in someone's day when you treat them with kindness. read more

This used to be what S'bucks was about...come in, sit down, have a drink, maybe a snack or 'full on meal', borrow the WiFi, borrow the house copy of the NYTimes or WSJ! I always drink coffee, and when I do, about 95% of the time it's at Starbucks, this Starbucks specifically. I have been coming to this location for years. My drink order and myself may have changed, but this Starbucks' quality drinks, and service has always remained the same. Speedy and efficient, the baristas never fail to let me down. No matter the order, or the wait, they always manage to get my drink out in a timely manner, made the exact way I ordered. The baristas themselves are friendly and down to earth, making a possible small talk less awkward. Visit Date: April 5, 2014 Since I started driving this Starbucks has been one of the locations I enjoy stopping by. It looks like it could be a little bit tiny from the outside, but it's actually semi-spacious inside. They have a huge selection of coffees to brew at home including reserve coffees (which I always want to buy, but do not because they are expensive-even though they are definitely worth the cost). This starbucks also features clover brewed coffee. I found out about clover brewed coffee in Miami and I'm happy that there's a NY location that has clover brewing. Nice Starbucks location in the heart of Bellmore. Offers all the usual fare/drinks and staffed by very friendly youngsters. Parking lot + a corner location makes access pretty easy. I don't frequently review chains like Starbucks but this location deserves an exception. The coffee is exactly what you'd expect from Starbucks, the prices are in line with other stores in the area, and the seating is comfortable yet limited. You probably already know this. What you might not know is that this location has some of the most amazing staff in the world. I come here almost every day I work and when I lived in the area this was a daily stop for me. The baristas are funny, kind, and personable. They make the effort to not only learn your name but your drink. Managment at this location is absolutely awesome. I really shouldn't treat myself to expensive coffee every day, but the people running this joint are so awesome it makes it worth the trip... even if I'm a little late for work. read more

All Starbucks locations are more or less the same. So what is so special about this one - Bathroom is closed. I cannot buy a venti and not being able to use the bathroom..... COVID related?! Maybe. But I still need to pee COVID or not. With same store sales down 40% due to Covid-19 for the corporation in general, maybe do more (like open bathrooms) so customers don't leave the stores without purchasing anything. read more

They are the morning people that make YOU a morning person. Great staff, they take your order with a smile and have your order out promptly. Best of all my spinach feta wrap is always hot and cooked through and through. Order ahead to beat the line that seems to form in the blink of an eye(8:04am-8:15isham). BEWARE: The parking lot. I went to Starbucks (merrick Road in Merrick) to get gift cards for people I work with who were going off to college... they did not have any envelopes for the gift cards they put them in small coffee cups with lids so i could not put in a card ... had to wrap each and everyone...the girl gave me one receipt and said they're all active I said "are you sure"she said yes ....well they were NOT!!!! ...only one was ... must've been the first one that she rang up...I was devastated after giving these gifts ...I was embarrassed and humiliated and of course I no longer have the receipt so I am out all the money for the cards.... Yeah I know its just coffee..... but to me it is soooo important. Its important that the staff pay attention to your order, ask the appropriate questions and answer yours as well in order to get it how you like it.... and this location delivered. The girl at the counter was very friendly and attentive. She even answered a few local type questions for me about shopping and such. She seemed to know some of the regulars that were in line after us and chatted them up. It made for a warm and welcoming experience. We also used their free wi-fi briefly. Only downside was that it was pretty chilly in there (granted it was 100 degrees out but who wants to go from hell hot to freezing). read more

I will start this review by saying I am not a Starbucks coffee fan. I find that it is too bitter and strong for my taste. What I love about Starbucks is their food. I love their Bistro Boxes, particularly the protein one. They also offer great sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch that are pretty healthy. Their baked goods are awesome, although the calorie counts are usually out of control. I basically stop at this Starbucks for food and then head to Dunkin Donuts for my coffee. read more

Typical strip mall Starbucks. Music is very loud. Staff friendly. Lots of employees standing around, but store is dirty. Coffee bar covered in spilled sugar, etc, straw wrappers on the floor. Customer tables covered in crumbs, spilled coffee. Shelves displaying items for sale are dusty. Floor is filthy. Even the chair rail on the wall has a layer of dust on it. read more

It's not a coffee-bar, it's a lifestyle! This location has found a way to employ the friendliest staff, which makes drinking coffee here extra-enjoyable. I had been drinking Starbucks "bold" drip coffee for years. I couldn't understand those people who would pay $5 for their cappa-frappa-dappa's. However, recently, they introduced me to the CLOVER. Wow!!! This thing takes all the bitterness and acidity out of the coffee, and just leaves amazing flavor. I still don't drink "cappa-frappa-whatevers," but my starbucks bill is almost topping my mortgage payment. This recently updated store is really fun to visit. Really one of the worst Starbucks on Long Island. Left here with such a bad taste in my mouth. I hope their DISTRICT MANAGER reads this. I really do. This location does not even "feel" like a Starbucks. Something so "off" about it. When you walk inside-- there is a big empty space in the center of the store. What for? Square dancing lessons? A natural child birth class ? An exorcism? WTF? Ahhh... I think someone REMOVED seats & tables! ? Why? So the night staff does not have so much cleaning to do? Again; WTF? Look, it's Starbucks, some love it, some hate it. I may be addicted to it, for while I don't love it, I drink it all the time. So what does that say. And yes, I do like a quality cup of cold-brewed coffee, I'm hitting up Oslo all the time. But I keep coming back to Starbucks. Starbucks coffee is like McDonald's french fries - a "meh" product engineered to hook you. Ok, well if not you, then certainly engineered to hook me! Anyway, this Starbucks is pretty good, better than many. I would give it three stars. BUT. BUT. They recently acquired a Clover single-brew machine for use with premium coffees. Expensive per cup, perhaps, but worth it for the flavor (and for the little show). And besides - a few years ago, Starbucks bought the company that makes the Clover, so you can't get it anywhere else. TIP: If it's summer & they're doing the treat receipts, and you buy a coffee in the morning, the Clover iced coffee is $2 after 2:00. It's included (come to think of it, I don't know why it wouldn't be, considering Frappuccinos are) Now, is Starbucks as good as it gets (five stars)? Maybe in the area (S.
