This Starbucks is fantastic. They are always friendly, efficient, and they always do a fantastic job in making my order delicious. One thing that I also love getting while I'm at Starbucks is their chocolate covered espresso beans. They are not only delicious to have for myself, they also make excellent gifts. Another thing that I love about this Starbucks location is the beautiful decor and the ample seating that is available both inside and outside. the only reason I left one star is because of the two employees that saved each day. The first day I went to this place I asked for an iced oat milk latte, shaken. The Barista taking my order said they don't have anything like that, they only do shaken espresso. Gobstopped I ordered that and when to the other barista who told me she was making my order and I showed her a picture from the Starbucks menu of a Iced Latte and asked her if she knew what it was and if they make that at this Starbucks; she said yes. This Starbucks is so hit or miss that I'd say save yourself the time, avoid it and go to the one in target across the street. They're ALWAYS out of stuff. And you don't find out until you're stuck in line so you either have to order something that isn't even your A, B or C choice or you have to go through the entire drive thru, knowing you're not getting anything. Incredibly rude employees. I went through the drive through and was given the wrong drink. I parked and decided to go inside to get the correct drink. As soon as I got to the door an employee locked the door and said they were closed. This was just after 12:30pm so I am not sure why they closed. I knocked on the door and a girl came to the door and I let her know I was just at the drive through but was given the wrong drink and asked if they could remake it. She said no we are closed I then asked for a refund and was told no we are closed. I asked for the managers name and said I will just call corporate to get a refund. Then another girl was like I can remake your drink but a male employee by the name of Nolan said we are not fu*king making anything because he is calling corporate and closed the door. It can be challenging to get to due to its location. There are about 20 parking spots and a drive through. There are tables outside and inside and all are socially distanced. This was my first time in this Starbucks location, I usually praise Starbucks, because they are obviously the superior coffee shop. However this one was super disappointing. We ordered our iced coffees, and stood aside waiting for a while. 3 people ordered after us and got theirs before ours, and they had Frappuccino or some other type of blended drink. I hit up this place at least 2-3 times a week only because its right there on my way to work. The place ultimately needs to be moved because the layout of the parking lot is completely rediculous considering how much business this place does. You would do best to park at the gas station and walk over instead of trying to wrangle your car into the drive thru in the mornings. The patio area is always pretty dirty, dog hair all over the sofas and trash/cigarette ash I'll over the tables. The staff is a bunch of young hipsters that seem to care more about having fun and being cute than getting your order out in a hurry. As a grown man, I for one don't appreciate being called "hun" or "sweetie" by a 19 year old kid. If they put as much energy into getting drinks out quicker as they do into having fun, this place would be awesome but that is my biggest complaint, they are incredibly slow, especially in the mornings! read more

On my journey to see if I can visit every SB in the nation took me to this location. On our road trip to get out of Florida ahead of evacuation orders for Irma a coffee break was in order. This place hit the spot after a long drive. I needed to get my coffee fix and a breakfast sandwich for the little one. I ordered my usual iced white chocolate mocha. The coffee came out cold and tasty as expected. We ordered the slow roasted ham and swiss and it was hot and fresh. I need to take minute and rave about this Starbucks location! Everyone was fantastic and efficient. This is the first location i haven't had to wait forever for a drink. They are so efficient and clean with their processes during this insane pandemic. I have been avoiding going in places but today I really needed a caffeine boost. I am pregnant and cannot have a lot of caffeine and the employee that helped me (i really wanted a vanilla sweet scream cold brew but it has too much caffeine) figure out something that would work for me. I believe his name was Jeremy but it suggested a iced americano half caff with vanilla sweet cream cold foam on top and sweet cream in it. IT WAS PERFECT! I feel more confident in ordering my regular coffee knowing he suggested it! He then went on to disinfect the door and outside tables as soon as there weren't any inside customers waiting. Every employee here has a smile on their face through masks! You can hear it in their voices and see it in their eyes. That is something that is needed in the world today! This Starbucks location has challenges with consistency in specialty coffees and timeliness of orders. This has been an issue for over a year. Often I go out of my way in the mornings to get coffee from Starbucks locations that I know are reliable and timely. This morning, I placed a mobile order and waited 20 minutes before having to cancel my order. The line inside was long, there were at least 10 folks waiting for their mobile orders as well as a long queue cars in the parking lot. Starbucks should consider revamping this location. Very crowded parking lot! Was there a disabled parking spot? Inside is very cramped also. I hate standing in a line where I'm butt up against someone sitting. Only one large table inside- but it's a long table not good for a group of friends. Around a corner are a few chairs. No room for friends there either. I think if someone was in wheelchair they could get in but would have difficulty maneuvering. That's pretty sad. Tea was okay. Didn't really taste like Earl Grey. It's Starbucks. What can you say about Starbucks that people don't already know? This one is a drive through, the line moves at a moderate to slow pace. It's a busy Starbucks, they don't always carry all the syrups for as long as a big city Starbucks does. The baristas range from overly enthusiastic (leaving phone numbers on cups) to straight up not speaking to you the whole time. But they make the coffee and if it's not what you like they remake it. Even if it's what you ordered. The bathroom is always pretty clean and well stocked. Negatives: The parking lot is confusing and small. It's kind of hard to get in and out. Sometimes they ignore the milk choice you ordered. When asking for soy, watch to make sure that's what you're getting, especially if you're lactose intolerant, like me. read more

But all I get is a burnt tongue and tachycardia from the insane amount of caffeine in their coffee. Between financing my cup of Java and the copay of my ER visit, I feel like I was roshamboed and lost badly. Kidding about the ER, but I do get heart jitters from too much caffeine. And Starbucks is known to have jacked-up caffeine in their coffee. Now, I have to admit, the mass-produced baked goods are fairly yummy. Brownies and coffee cake rock. Service is usually fast and friendly here too. And it's always entertaining watching the zombies pretend they love their coffee. This is the worst of the Starbucks in the Melbourne area. Cannot get an order correct. 90% of the staff have a bad attitude. The last time I was there and I mean it was my last time I ordered a drink recommended, it was like a McDonalds milkshake I took it back explaining to the barista, he snatched it away and "If you wanted a coffee drink you should have ordered one!" If I were the store manager I would have fired him on the spot. The store need to be fired and re-staffed. I've been to this Starbucks several times over the years, and I know I wrote a review of it before...but my review seems to have vanished for reasons that only Yelp can explain. I don't like Starbucks in general, mostly because the coffee is horrible. I come here to work and I order a coffee, and I often don't drink much of it. But I do get work done and the people here are friendly and the place is clean and has free wifi and decent bathrooms. I keep going because there are no real cafes in the area, and even though it's mediocre, it's reliably mediocre and it's there. The music is the standard Starbucks Muzak, which is sometimes good, sometimes bad, and at this location usually too loud. So I'm forced to put on headphones and crank them, which I don't prefer but it's not a problem. If you want to have a conversation, however, expect to use your outside voice while inside...or just sit outside. Also, it's typically FREEZING cold in here, especially in the hot summer months. This feels good for the first 2 minutes coming in from the heat, but if you want to stay more than that you'll want to bring a sweater and/or light fleece jacket. read more

I usually don't do reviews but, today is the exception. I decided to enter Starbucks today due to the lines being long. I entered the store then placed my order. The young lady behind the cash register apologized for not getting my name right. I told her it was not a big deal because we both had masks on and there was a clear plastic divider between us making it hard to hear. As I was waiting for my coffee, I hear one of the customers compliment one of the female baristas on how nice she was as she was leaving. I thought to myself, how nice that was! That same barista stated a conversation with me as I waited for my coffee. Then out of nowhere a tall male barista with glasses rudely interrupts our conversation to tell me that I need to have my mask on. I looked at him strangely and said I have a mask on. He continued to say that it was not on properly. I told that I could not breathe with it on due health issues. He then says you are going to have to wait outside then. I went outside to calm down and 30 seconds later the barista I was talking to before being rudely interrupted, bought out my coffee. I went to my car and threw the coffee away. That's how disgusted and pissed I was! I have been coming to this Starbucks location for years and I have always had great service from the staff until today. The lack of respect and manners shown today by that young "boy" was unacceptable! The rudeness and lack of listening skills he displayed does not show the character of the other workers there. But I have to question, is this the type of people Starbucks likes to hire? Or if someone claims health issues do you still tell them to wait outside? Wouldn't that fall under discrimination? Either way, they will not be receiving any business from myself, my family, or any of my associates. That one disrespectful employee cost this location, 7351 Shoppes Dr., my business. read more

The only thing I can say here is "violently bad." I'm sorry. I really do love starbucks, so when we stayed at the hotel, I was really excited to be able to wake up and walk over for breakfast. I have to say, I am just so disappointed. I probably should have known something was amiss when more people outside at the tables were drinking McCafe than Starbucks - seriously. I ordered an orange and mango smoothie because it was so hot that I didn't even want the dairy for a frappucino. The smoothie I received did not resemble anything orange or mango, it tasted like something you drink for bulking up, so full of whey protein that it literally was chewy with very little flavor. The only distinguishable flavor was banana - which the menu says in small print that they add as well. Fine, add what you want to the smoothie, but it should taste predominantly like what the flavor is! It was so solid, chewy, and fake tasting because of the whey that I had one sip and looked tragically to the barista, saying "is this orange and mango?" He looked at me, laughed in my face and said "have a nice day!" Then he turned and deliberately ignored me. Umm... Did I miss a memo? I always love Starbucks, and I can honestly say this is my worst experience with the brand. This drink was small, more than $4, did not resemble any fruit at all, and probably has too much sugar to technically even qualify as a bulking up food for fitness buffs. I am really hoping that it was just a bad Starbucks, or perhaps a bad barista, and not that Starbucks is really getting this bad. I am sitting here with this chewy drink in a really hot hotel room.
