I ran out a few weeks ago and there weren't decaf beans in-store for sale for a while. I reached out over social media on a whim to ask the owners if they knew when they'd get more decaf beans in and they responded within a minute to tell me that they'd have beans there, set aside specially for me, by that afternoon. Even asked what roast I preferred. They roasted them that morning and had them in the store for me to pick up by noon. I cannot overstate how touched my husband and I were at their genuine kindness, caring for community, and customer service. Talk about going above and beyond!

When I walked inside, I noticed the darker, coffee-like colors of the walls, and the descriptive mural. Above the coffee-crafting area, a helpful visual describing the various espresso drinks were drawn around the outline of a goat (lucky to be surrounded by espresso, I suppose). I was greeted by the helpful and pleasant staff. When I asked about the nitro cold brew, to help my decision, they poured a bit into a tasting cup for me. I chose the 16 ounce size to power me home. Other non-espresso and cold brew drinks are available: coffee, teas, matcha, lemonade, and hot chocolate (!). Although food might be also available, I didn't notice. During my short time inside, a pleasant playlist provided the music. The place is narrow and seating looks to be enough to sit for a spell to enjoy beverages with a friend.

They also have some food options, which is very cool. Things that are easier to eat handheld and walking, like a croissant with toppings and things of that nature. However, I definitely have some issues with it. First, you need to be a fan of sweet coffees to get the most out of this location. Their sweetness is through the roof from the couple of drinks that I've tried--so much so that the main gimmick here is on their signature lattes, like their cheesecake latte or tiramisu latte, they will put a slice of that on top of your drink. So that would mean a whole slice of cheesecake on top of your cheesecake latte. This will be, of course, at an additional charge. This leads me to my second point of contention: the pricing is just too high here. I understand that this is a very small business so they're gonna have higher costs that they need to retain, and I have to imagine in the Avenues it's pretty expensive even if they are a mobile coffee cart. However, when your competition is able to get five or six dollar coffees, and I'm walking out of here spending $10 or more for a signature latte, there's a problem. Keep in mind, that $10 doesn't even include their main gimmick of the slice on top. I believe adding the actual slice is somewhere between an extra $5 to $7. To put that in perspective, you can walk into Publix and buy an entire cheesecake for around $15. Especially given that within a five-minute walk, there is a brick-and-mortar coffee shop in the Avenues. It's cute, and it has its time and place if you really want a sweet drink and can catch them during their uncommon hours, which I understand. It is definitely not a place I would stop every day given their pricing and their sweetness. I look forward to trying them again to see if I have a different experience and will update the review if so.

It smelled so wonderful in there of roasted coffee, baking breads with just a hint of cinnamon in the air. If I could put that in a bottle I would definitely use it as an air freshener! Everyone was so friendly and understanding because I was in desperate need of coffee so my ability to articulate wasn't great. The coffee was perfect, just the right amount of milk and sugar I didn't have to change a thing. I'm up in Cocoa Village occasionally and I definitely will be stopping in here. And I've always thought to myself, "How could anyone possibly eat pudding set upon a cone?" Well journey forward 50 years, and you'll be surprised to discover a tiny joint that does sell "custard." Delve into the details a bit further however, and you will unearth that the key ingredient to the custard concoction is eggs, commingling and infused with ice cream. The resulting dessert has a full texture that is thick, creamy and most delicious. You will have a plethora of choices, with very nearly 200 flavors, at hand for the asking.
