Usually you can't go wrong with Cold Stone but tonight it was wrong. We were told after they started our order they were out of almonds and bananas. Too late to change the order but figured we would make due. As the order was put in the bowl we were told they were out of waffle bowls as well. None of this was said when we first placed the order. If so we would have changed the order. No discount no nothing! So we ordered banana Carmel crunch in waffle bowls. One like it and one love it. No almonds, no banana and no waffle bowl. Also the girls and the guy working there all had long hair and none of them had their hair pulled back. Definitely a turn off. Will never return to this location! read more

This ColdStone is by far the most phenomenal one. They have plenty of options to choose from in ice cream flavors and toppings. 10/10 would recommend. The best signature is the chocolate devotion if you love chocolate. Clean and great customer service, don't forget to tip your workers! Long line, tiny portions. This is definitely on my 'miss it' list. The ice cream is always tasty, but this franchise has the smallest portions I've ever seen. They measure the ice cream in to the serving cup, seemingly level with the top. The add-in is all that fills the cup. Even in a large serving, one addin. It's a shame because we love the ice cream here but unfortunately, we won't be returning. There were 2 young kids working there and they are not trained properly. There were 3 families in front of us. The 2 employees were helping the same people rather than going to next group. The line didn't move - we waited 45 min to be served. The best part was when an older gentleman came out from the back room 2x to bring them clean blenders. You would've thought when he saw the line, he would've jumped in and assisted but instead quickly returned to the back room. read more

Used to love Cold Stone, but the store in Viera is filthy and smells terrible. It truly smells like mold and mildew. The area where all the toppings are is just filthy with crumbs and such. Not to mention the milk was sitting on the counter with no lid and the brownie container was uncovered as well. I realize they were busy but food safety rules should still be followed. This is the second time we have arrived 20-30 minutes before closing time and the store was already "closed" to customers. Employees were chatting inside, not cleaning or ending the night. I attempted to go to this location after lunch and after dinner and I walked out without ice cream both times. Extremely slow employees that are not very attentive. The young woman working tonight seemed to be doing a phenomenal job, but the young men kept jumping in and helping her on the same guests. So only 1 guest was being helped while there was a line of 5+. I couldn't really make sense of it, but that was the same issue around lunch time. We moved here 4 months ago and after several tries our family will not be going back. I tried several different combinations and had stale shortbread/cake on 3 occasions and the past two times ordered almonds and received another type of nut. The kids are rude and just farm you through. It is unacceptable to pay this much for an ice cream and not get proper service. Very disappointed. read more

Cold stone creamery in Melbourne. The location is great. There is a lot of shopping around the complex as well as restaurants. The shopping center is outside like a really nice strip mall. The complex looks newly built. There is a lot of outdoor seating around the complex. After I was shopping for a few hours it was 3:15. I was hungry saw the cold stone sign and figured to get ice cream to hold me over until our dinner reservations later that night. This cold stone was extremely clean. There was one girl working looked to be 16. Very friendly as I took my time ordering. They had a lot of ice cream selections as well as specials. I ended up getting a dark cocoa shake. I don't know if It was because I was hungry or what but the shake was really good. The dark cocoa was super rich. The girl drizzled this chocolate syrup all over the top and down the sides of the cup. Added a extra zing! I would defiantly go back to this cold stone. I did just get a shake so my review is based on service and my shake. I am giving this a 4 star review just because it is a chain location. Worst service ever walked in at 8:20pm to get ice cream after an amazing movie night with my family. There was an upset customer and the manager Natalie had no care in the world, she was making fun of the upset customer under her breath. We really enjoy Coldstone, but after waiting almost 30 minutes to get my kids ice cream they were excited to get there shark week Ice cream, Natalie literally threw all the ingredients onto the coldstone with an attitude, then threw the ice cream onto the counter. Last time I'll ever come here with my kids, it's not like I'm paying 6 dollars for Ice cream. By the time we are done it's a $20 dollar bill, and I feel the long wait and very small portions do not deserve my hard earned money. My husband ordered a Love It and his ended up the same size as my Like It. Needless o say he didn't love it or like it. He had two add ins and his cup was smaller than my cup with 3 add ins. Paid $10 for two small scoops of ice cream. Totally not worth it! The guy behind us in line got a Like It but his cup was literally overflowing and they gave him a Love It portion. Portion sizes here are not consistent at all. Save your money and go to Publix and add you own toppings for way less! Turned what should have been a date night treat into a big disappointment for dessert. read more

This is the most filthy disgusting ice creamery I have set foot in. My family and I went there about a month ago and the stench of feces inside the store (like a dirty diaper) was so strong. Even the people ahead of us were commenting on it, needless to say we turn around and left without purchasing anything. Today when we went in there were 3 people ahead of us which took forever to be served with only 1 employee working behind the counter. As we approached closer I could see the chaotic bedlam on the back counter which I'm sure (having owned and operated a restaurant in Florida) was in several health and safety violations. 2 opened cardboard boxes, an uncovered pitcher half full of 'purple something' sitting next to the spray bottle of detergent cleaner, open plastic containers with 'toppings' haphazardly stacked up, just to name a few. Basically it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week! Not to mention the bathroom wreaked of vomit so bad I had to cover my face with my scarf AND there was no hand soap. 'Employees must wash hands before returning to work'...how with no soap?? I pulled a dirty plastic spoon from the 'clean' spoon container by the register and asked for a napkin as ALL of the napkin containers were empty and needed refilled. We sat at a filthy table inside as it was the only place available and to my dismay THREE other employees walked out of the back room and commenced serving the long line of people waiting in line. WHY is this place in such a disgusting shambles with four staff on hand??! I verbally told one of the staff that I found it incredibly dirty and was probably in several health safety violations. His response was, "yeah, we have been busy". It wasn't until I started taking video of the mess that him and his buddies began cleaning up the counter. I will never return to this store after the last 2 experiences and I will be reporting what I witnessed to corporate HQ. Whoever let these young men in charge of running this store needs to be aware of their total lack of work ethic and basic necessity of cleanliness. If I could zero stars I would. read more
