Colleen at the marquette starbucks, ruined my experience. Colleen got mine and my friends order wrong, and refused to fix it for us. Colleen thought that we had ordered a chocolate croissant, when we had actually ordered a cake pop. When we asked for a refund, she threw the croissant on the table and grabbed a cake pop for us. She would not admit that she had made a mistake and tried to make us feel stupid for even asking. We are now 40 cents short of what we were before because she had made a mistake and wouldn't admit to it. NEVER coming back, just because of colleen and her attitude while ordering your food. read more

Not only is this the worst Starbucks I have been to it is also one of the worst coffee drive-throughs. 1. Placed order was given wrong total, 2. Waited 10 minutes for three cars ahead of me. 3. After double checking my order at the window due to wrong total was still given wrong coffee. When I called to get a coupon or gift card mailed to me they said "we don't do that just tell us you got the wrong coffee and we will replace it next time." Fast service, we did a mobile order for Veranda, light roast coffee. Got it quick and headed down the road. Traveling through Marquette so didn't have time to eat or enjoy the cafe. When we tasted the coffee, it was too late to go back! Awful! Blah! It was not a light roast...I called, but they could not do anything because we can not go back. Worst waste of $7! Soooo my wife and I decided on a treat, she's a coffee connoisseur, there's was a star bucks, no brainer right!? Wrong, ok so I'll start by saying the drinks were good, see there that's fair right? I said they tasted good ... first... but here's where I had a slight reality check. We ordered a pumpkin spice latte and a maple pecan cold frapacino (I think) we asked for small size. When we went to pay it was almost ten dollars!!!!! Holy Swiss cheese on a cracker Batman! Does it dance to my lips and pour itself? I said it was good right! But two small coffees at ten dollars?!? Ok so it's safe to say I'm not a Starbucks frequenter and all of you Starbucks enthusiasts are probably rolling your eyes right now. That's ok I'm writing this for the unsuspecting tourist type. I was at this location today and used the drive thru window. Well the cashier guy was awful. I asked him after he gave me my change back how much the coffee was because when I spoke my order that person said it was nine dollars and forty five cents. This guy charged me 4 something? So I asked him and he acted like the world ended. A guy was trying to order and he was like I will be with you in a minute and he covered his ears and was thinking how much my coffee cost! I had no complaints about this Starbuck's. I rarely frequent Starbucks' so I may not be able to recant about many experiences, but everything went very smoothly this time around. I ordered a tall vanilla bean frappuccino and that's exactly what I got. It tasted great. I really enjoyed the corner of the cafe with the couches. I sat there for a while and enjoyed slowing the day down for 20 minutes. The couches were very comfy and out of the way. I noticed many people in the cafe as well enjoying their company and beverages. It seems like a solid place to me. read more

The employees at this Starbucks don't deserve the shit for brains manager they have. She consistently shows up late, even during opening shifts, then blames her employees for her own tardiness! I've witnessed her verbally abuse her employees in front of multiple guests. She needs to go. I'm a huge Starbucks fan. But this location was out of Pikes Place TWO days in a row. Honestly, I have never been to a coffee shop and had them not have their advertised coffee brewed and ready to pour. They had enough Pikes Place to fill a large cup about halfway after they tipped the coffee container to empty every last drop in the cup. Then I had to wait while they brewed more. After it brewed for a few minutes they filled both cups most of the way, even though I said no room. And, when my husband an I went to drink our coffees we got grounds in our mouth. If being out of coffee hadn't happened two days in a row I wouldn't have thought twice. When it happens twice and coffee is your business I'm very disappointed. read more

I have been coming to Marquette nearly every weekend for the past 2 months. My experiences at this Starbucks initially were pretty good, except the flies. Somebody needs to do something about those wretched flies over by the couches! The past several times I have been there have been on a Sunday, and they are pretty much out of everything. First time I thought, "Eh, it happens. Annoying, yes, but I will get over it." But every single Sunday, they are out of nearly all baked goods! Somebody needs to be retrained on ordering. On top of that, the cashiers tend to be rude and snarky. My mate was yelled at to "Go wait at the end of the counter!" That was the final straw. We won't be coming back. read more

i would skip this place and try one of the places downtown, i felt like they didnt fill the coffee cups up, and the staff was rude and not very presentable or hygenic for being servers. maybe thats something with a lot of businesses in the area, but i dont think its an excuse. i also saw some other reviews online where other people complained about hte service, and the fact that for five bucks you got a 3/4 cup of luke warm milk that tasted like they might have used the wrong ingredients instead of the standard starbucks drink that the brand is universally known for. one of the staff had bright pink dyed hair, and was rude. i sipped what i purchased than threw it away, it was that bad. read more

Went back with two coffees, they didn't give us a refund or different coffee for the ones that were so bad they could even be salvaged, 2 grande coffee's with an extra shot was not cheap just for them to throw it in the trash!
