My Alaskan family has been well please every visit to this Macon store on Tom Hill road. The manager has done well running this location. Its always clean and the staff is very friendly. Its never a long wait no matter what time I go weekly, sometimes daily even twice a day. I want to highlight Endea, Michaela and Pete. They are always kind, professional, courteous and fast but proficient. Love my visits there. They make me feel like family. I will miss you all when I return back to Alaska this summer for good. I really wish there was a closer location. The customer service is hit or miss. As is the way drinks are prepared. I literally ordered the exact same thing today and yesterday, however my drinks look completely different. Mobile order placed as usual and nothing different selected. This has happened several times before. I am giving it an extra star because the Sugar Plum Cheese Danishes are back and they are SCRUMPTIOUS as usual!! read more

They just re-opened their cafe for some reason but this place is great and always has excellent customer service.

The new people are rude. You have 2-3 long time employees that carry this place. I've been going here over 10 years and have started to drive out of my way to not go here. The new employees would do well at the dollar tree or Popeyes- the attitude and lack of care is crazy. read more

Quick and efficient customer service inside the store. Went inside because the drive thru had a long line of cars. Parking was easy to find in the large parking lot that's shared with other businesses. When the drive thru line is long, I would suggest not parking in the Starbucks lot, since leaving may be a challenge if no one in the drive thru stops to give you space to get out of the parking space. Employees all wore face masks, and so did the customers walking inside to order and/or pick up their orders. No dining is allowed indoor. All tables have a sign on them that indicates they are "closed." Customer service was friendly and efficient. Got two drinks in a few minutes, in spite of the long drive thru line. Drinks tasted good! This was the first time that I got a "sippy cup" lid on a cold tea drink. I didn't have an issue with the lid being put on incorrectly, but another suggestion of mine would be to physically check to ensure the "sippy cup" lid is snapped on correctly, since you could get your cold (or hot) drink all over the front of your shirt. Ho Ho Ho!!!! Listen yal the fam done gave me 2 Starbucks gift-cards (I' m loaded)!!! So today, decided to drop in to for my morning coffee! Today I ordered a Venti-Iced CoCo Cloud Macchiato and my brother ordered a Grande-Caramel Apple Cider! I thought the Coco Cloud was discontinued but was surprised that Macon GA still had the powder to make the cloud!!! Unfortunately, my drink was super milky. The milk ratio and the powder was mad off. But, I waited so long to get the drink that I didnt feel like-going back to fix it. My brothers drink was good so no complaints there! read more

Perfectly acceptable location. Decent sitting area, free wifi. Drinks are made efficiently. Parking can be sparse because of the shopping center it's in. They now have a stoplight entering/leaving the shopping center so that one time hassle of visiting the location is not as bad anymore. I love Starbucks! The drinks are amazing! The bagels are also very good. I enjoy the Double Chocolate Chip Frappuchino Blended Creme. What I appreciate is how you can ask for a straw-free lid. This Starbucks is on my commute to work so I go through the drive through several times a week. If it's just me then it's usually fine, but if I'm ordering multiple drinks then part of my order is usually wrong. I get it, the intercom might be hard to hear and it gets crazy in the morning, but I shouldn't have to park my car after going through the drive through to go through our order and make sure it's correct. As another reviewer noted, they are also often out of items, specifically the breakfast sandwiches. This is the only drive through in the area that consistently doesn't have what is on their menu available- and it's not even a huge menu. Everyone who works here is really nice, but I'd recommend going inside if you are getting anything more complicated then one coffee. read more

Starbuck is a Starbucks is a Starbucks... and this one is no different. All Starbucks serve pretty good, but not great coffee. I always find myself going to a Starbucks when I am either stretched on time, or it is the easiest option to get my morning caffeine. This trip was because of both. We were in town visiting my sister who is not a big coffee drinker. We were trying to get back home pretty efficiently, but knew we could bear the trip without some coffee. Starbucks not only would have been the fastest option, but it also happened to be the closest coffee shop that popped up on Yelp. The line was extremely long for the drive-thru, so in an effort to remain with that "efficient" mentality, we decided to go in. No one was particularly friendly. But no one was particularly un-friendly either. They were pretty quick and the drinks came out right. No complaints there. Just an A-ok experience at an A-ok coffee chain. read more

I typically go to this location at least 2-3 times a week to buy my espresso drinks. Sometimes the resulting product is spectacular, sometimes it's passable, and a few times it has been gross. There was NO ONE in the store but me and the staff continued to tell me to put my mask on. I was 10 feet from anyone in the staff. They told me I had to wear a mask if I wanted to stay in the store so I waited outside. So then when they brought my product outside they wouldn't bring it to me, they put it on a table 10 feet from me. So you can hand people their product through a drive-through window who aren't wearing a mask but you can't bring product to someone's car because they refuse to wear masks in the store??? So stupid. Said woman went to a Starbucks Drive Thru and ordered a Venti Caramel Brûlée Laté with Almond milk and an extra pump of that good ol' Brûlée syrup. The woman paid for exactly what she wanted, was greeted by a smile and drove to her destination to enjoy her Venti Caramel Brûlée Laté with Almond milk and an extra pump of that good ol' Brûlée syrup. Sadly, the BEAUTIFUL woman smelled no caramel nor almond milk and was filled with anger and disappointment. That order that she placed at 11am on December 20th was not what she sipped at Noon of the same day. Instead, she had a Venti with one pump of classic and one pump of vanilla. With much angst and little energy, (due to her lack of caffeine and sugar) the woman drove back to the Starbucks and was granted what she originally paid for and craved, with not even an apology offered. I'm a big supporter of local retailers but I also value good quality. Starbucks is the only chain I support because it's simply the best coffee shop in this town. My friends and I visited this Starbucks around 3:30. This store was staffed with very rude employees at the time. They were out of peppermint but did not mention that until the guy was trying to make it. Then he acted disgusted that my friend had to decide on a different drink. The plexiglass dividers were very dirty. This was not the "Starbucks" experience that we normally pay for. Would highly recommend you drive a little farther to the next Starbucks. read more

A Starbucks is a Starbucks. Most are pretty standard, and it takes a lot to stand out as a great one (think Seattle Roastery or Reserve locations). The Forsyth location in Mac town is kind of small inside and the drive thru is usually busy. I'm more of a ma and pa local joint kinda gal, but there aren't too many of those around here. I have my fancy Americanized caffeine faves at Sbux and they do a good job making drinks according to the company standard here. I visit this location multiple times a week and for whatever reason, they seem to ALWAYS be out of what I want to order. It's increasingly frustrating when they're out of everything they show advertised on the main screen. Within the last few visits they've been out of 2 breakfast sandwiches, cold brew, and the cold foam specialty drink. It's literally a 1 in a million shot that they actually have cold brew because it never seems to be a thing with this location. I'd appreciate it if the baristas could simply OFFER to make something instead of just saying "we're out" when I order. If you're out of cold brew, why cant you say you'll give me an iced coffee with a shot of espresso for the same price? Or offer something else similar? Very disappointing as I was recently in Denver at a packed Starbucks, and I was apologized to and given a free $5 gift card for simply having to wait for a blonde roast that they just hadn't brewed yet. read more
