After three failed attempts to contact another baker for a request, I came to another one of my favorite sweet treat spots. There are unlimited combination choices, but I'm here to tell you the carrot cupcake is hands down my favorite. The cake portion incorporates raisins. Those I do not share whatsoever. I did pick out some for my sissy pooh. I know she is a strawberry girl, so I definitely got some of those. I wanted lemon raspberry. However, it was not available. I also purchased an oatmeal raisin cookie. I can't say that the cookie was super soft, but it was good. My carrot cakes were coming out of the oven. Omg! They are so soft and just as delicious as I remembered. No, they will not last until tomorrow. I've already eaten two. Now I have inquired in the past if she bakes whole cakes and she said no. But if that ever changed, carrot would be the cake of choice without any doubt or hesitation. read more

Was craving some cupcakes and Yelp directed me here. Yelpers have never let me down - the cupcakes here are seriously delicious. I ordered 2 Key Lime and 1 Blackberry Lemon. Yummy yummy yummy! They are smaller than a cupcake you would get from Publix/Kroger, but somehow they are perfect. The owner was incredibly patient and kind. Oreo stuffed chocolate chip, regular Chocolate chip, red velvet, key lime, and strawberry. My favorite was key lime. The icing is cream cheese and it's pretty good. The red velvet tastes like a better version of a grocery stores red velvet. Not bad but not like my grandmothers. The cookies are not covered, just behind a single pane glass. Because of this the cookies absorbed the taste of the air so they tasted weird. If it were covered it would be good. At least the regular chocolate chip. She grabbed my cookies with her bare hands and that was a turn off. I would still go back for the cream cheese icing cupcakes. read more

Julie and her sweets are to die for.. Everything is made with love and such beautiful presentation, the smell whims you away as you arrive and the owner, her eyes light up light Christmas lights when she talks about all her different cookies, cream puffs, cupcakes etc. The only problem with this place is I can't seem to figure what's sweeter the sweets or the owner of this fine establishment. This is a small bakery that has both homemade bread and sweets. I bought the bread, and it is excellent. There were beautiful macaroons. There were several other delicious looking baked treats. You can buy a cup of coffee that is a single serve K-cups style coffee. There is limited seating, so this would be a take it to go type bakery. I bought a simple knotted bread that had no egg, butter, or milk. This is important to me since I am vegan. The proprietor mentioned that it is the same bread distributed to Dovetail downtown but with a different size. read more

Excellent cream puffs made with actual cream. In our cream horn tour of Georgia, we have found the cream can mean frosting. Original toll house cookies made from scratch. Tucked away in a strip mall, we almost missed this treasure. Got a loaf of bread that may not make it to the house. read more

Admittedly we wanted cupcakes...We are not from Macon and were unaware of the change of business. However, we decided to give it a try. The flavor cupcakes we wanted weren't available so we tried the 'cruffins'. I had the strawberry cheesecake one. Raw dough. Not damp cruffin but stringy absolutely raw dough in a couple of spots. Here's what I really want to say. The cream cheese and the strawberry fillings were perfection, neither too sweet nor too unsweet, it was a perfect balance. A little more baking time perhaps? It's a great concept overall and I'd like to retry in future when I'm in Macon. read more
