This is probably one of the best church coffee shops I've been to. Cathedral Coffee is located within Northway Church in Macon. It's a pretty sizable coffee shop- with big wooden arches that are so reminiscent of beautiful cathedrals yet they've added lots of seating in to give it a well blended vibe. Beyond that, I'm really impressed with their branding. The logo that pays homage to stained glass windows is so clever and cool. They had a lot of merchandise you could buy as well, and even their cups with logos on it were on point. This was a perfect quick stop for us as we were driving back to Florida- if you need a good roadtrip spot while driving I-75 this is right off the interstate so it's an easy in and out. My party all enjoyed our coffees. I got a chai latte and it was a nice spice blend but more subtle than other chai's I've had. read more

Beautiful and spacious coffee shop with solid prices and many options on their menu! I came here to study and there was plenty of seating available with outlets too. The dirty chai I ordered was very reasonably priced, but I thought it was somewhat lacking in chai flavor. The cookie however was great and a lot of their other pastries and sandwiches looked good too! There was also a drive through for those looking to pick up something quick. Came through here for a coffee while on the road to Savannah. I had a bit of a hard time finding it. Probably would've helped if I'd read the fine print and realized it was actually in a large church, haha. Being that's the case, there's obviously a lot of parking. I didn't have time to go inside really so I was pleased to see they had a drive-through. The pictures of the inside look cool and cathedral-y though! I ordered the smaller-sized honey bear mocha (honey and mocha latte) as well as a water bottle. I wanna say it ran me a little over $8, which felt a little steep but not insane. The girl working the window was pleasant and friendly. I liked my coffee okay but I didn't wind up drinking much of it. I always say there are two kinds of people: people who like their coffee to taste like dessert and people who like their coffee to taste like coffee. Both are fine, but I'm the former and I think this place caters more to the latter, lol. My drink had a very strong, nutty coffee flavor, a tiny bit of mocha flavor, and no honey flavor. Therefore, not really sweet enough for me. That's okay. If that sounds like your speed, definitely give them a try. I wish them well and appreciate the kind service! read more

A dear friend of mine brought me here for a quick coffee break, saying it is the best coffee place in Macon and was he correct!! The ambiance of this place was parred excellence! The place inside looked like an old European cathedral! The decor & the chill atmosphere was perfect for a coffee place! The manager, and the rest of the staff showed excellent service displaying grace and patience! The Badger Honey iced Coffee was excellent! The next day I came and tried the iced Chai and it was like drinking cold dessert in a cup! I LOVED it! I highly recommend this coffee joint! Delightfully set with Northway Church on the left side of the building, the iced Americano was absolutely delicious! The staff is so helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is perfect for a study session or a quick catch up with friends! The coffee shop also has a convenient drive thru as well. If you would like to come inside and have a few minutes to read a book with your coffee, this is a place you will love to visit. Stopped by Cathedral Coffee on our way through Macon, going home from Florida. The Store is located on the church campus. The space is large, well appointed and inviting. We were greeted by the friendly manager as we entered, who told us about the housemade baked goods. Two young baristas were assisting him behind the counter serving us as walk ups as well as a steady drive up business at 7:00 a.m. Everyone was efficient and welcoming. I got an oat milk latte & housemade raspberry white chocolate scone. Loved both! The scone was warm and gooey when I bit into it. The oat milk latte was perfect for me. My husband got a large black coffee. He prefers stronger coffee. Cathedral coffee was mild for his tastes but it's consistent with coffee we get traveling in the south. If I lived in Macon, I'd stop here every day on my way to work. Nice place, nice people, good latte. Thanks for getting us caffeinated for our long trip home today Cathedral Coffee! read more

I love the ambiance of cathedral coffee because the architecture of the church and the decorations. I went inside and ordered a apple cider hot and a grilled cheese and i like how they give so many options for the bread. The customer service was great everyone was friendly and answered any questions there were. I would recommend this place if youre looking for a cafe with a different aesthetic. Not quite a good place to study unless you have noise canceling headphones but still nice to go and chill for a little while. read more

This is a unique spot to grab a coffee inside of a church. You don't have to go to the church (for a service) or walk through the church to go here- it's completely open to the public and you don't feel weird at all going. Super clean and beautiful. This is one of the only local coffee shops in Macon and they have a great selection of coffee, espresso, pastries, and some lunch options that include gluten free choices. They have a daily roast that I usually get. The coffee and espresso is very good and roasted consistently. Their iced mocha is very good. It's my favorite local coffee shop. The interior is also very impressive and unique. The shop is connected to a church (Northway) but is 100% outward facing with a drive thru. You don't enter through the church and there are signs to direct you. Worth the visit! read more
