For the THIRD time, I received the chicken bacon ranch flatbread incorrectly. There is barely any chicken on it, the few tiny pieces of bacon seemed like a joke, and despite the sticker showing NO lettuce and NO ranch, those were the two MOST abundant ingredients on the whole thing. The peanut butter banana smoothie with chocolate is delicious, but not worth my meal being wrong every single time. Highly disappointed. AGAIN. read more

Family owned franchises probably shouldn't bicker with one another (in another language) in front of customers. I don't have to know Indian to feel the tension at this establishment. Not only that but I didn't even get serviced as the only customer standing at the cash register feeling like an idiot. Thankfully I had a free smoothie and it was for the kiddos, or else I would've high tailed it out immediately. As pleasant as I tried to be, no reciprocity in smiles or demeanor. I'll stick to Zebulon Rd. read more

They are the worst in Macon. I wish the previous owners was still there. Nothing is ever made right. Poor Customer Service. Food terrible. My açaí bowl had nothing in it when my delivery came. Sad read more

Ordered on app. Order was not complete. Left two things out. When back in to ask. Out of those things. I'm like so you're just gonna charge me and leave it out. Replaced with something similar but wasn't very nice. read more

I will never go to this location anymore, afterall of these reviews it appears that nothing will change. I don't support rudeness and disrespect. Clearly the owner does not care about us or he or she would have done something by now. I have shared with others to go to the Zebulon Road stare for excellent service and stop giving away you money to people don't care. These two you ladies are rude and it appears they or their family own the store due to no change. My rating is ZERO!!!!!!! read more

Great customer service! I'm always fretted with a smile the food is prepared with care and patience. Would definitely recommend this spot.

plastic in food , service was okay at best but I think it was a language barrier so I'm not going to hold that against them. it was empty when I arrived , no music , then when I complained abt plastic the table was cleared refund issued and we left. will never return. read more

No getting at the door, customer service was TRASH. Watch to see they have on gloves or wash their hands They are unorganized with the orders. Mine was given to somebody else. Then when they realized it, instead of making a fresh one, they just gave it to me. So I asked for a fresh one at first then realized it wasn't what I ordered. Instead of fixing it they gave me a rude attitude and told me I'm wrong. Overall I ended up getting the a the fresh order. read more

First off, the new owners are adding way too much ice to the smoothie, in an effort to save money. I have been a long time customer of tropical smoothie. I don't know how much they're saving, but I've decided as of today with this last one I'm drinking down in pain cause it's so cold and so tasteless, to take my $10 a day smoothie habit over to the competition. I hope they will miss me as much as I will miss them but I do not enjoy there over iced smoothies.. read more

Love the staff, they have my order memorized and are really quick with service. Super friendly and would highly recommend!!

Idk it was ok. I really wanted a green juice only - no smoothie type thing. I got what's pictured only be default as I was headed for a long drive where I knew there wouldn't be food choices for my diet. I noticed you can substitute faux meat on a lot of the food options, which is totally great. Good for them having something healthy in Macon! read more

I've been before and never had bad service, sometimes slow but nothing like today. I ordered 2 smoothies, 10 minutes later we were asked again what we had ordered. 4 workers standing around, Quotes "I'm ready to go the fuck home" bitch you better do those dishes. When some friends of the workers came in they got their food before us and didn't pay for it. Hopefully this place doesn't go down hill. read more

Smoothies were absolutely wonderful. Didn't expect for the cup to be as large as it was. We ordered 3 smoothies and were very pleased with the tastes of each drink. We couldn't get the machine to work in order for me to add my rewards for ordering but hopefully I can report s missed visit online. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating and helpful with choosing flavors. Thanks guys!!! read more

I can't believe what happened this morning. I placed an order through the app for a smoothie to pickup before I headed in to work. I arrived at 07:45am. They open at 7am. When I walked up, the door was locked. There was an employee inside making a smoothie who looked right at me and wouldn't open the door. He then went into the back and didn't come back out. I knocked on the door and called, no one would answer. So I wasn't able to get my smoothie that I paid for. I order from Tropical Smoothie Cafe ALL the time but after today, I am NEVER coming back to this location. This is completely unacceptable. Attached a photo where you can clearly see the store is lit up inside but that the "open" sign is turned off. read more

First time being here. It has been years since I have eaten at this place. The place was nice. It was clean and spacious inside. I had the smoothie and half a sandwich and it was good! I'm glad I did half because I got pretty good. I was not able to even finish the smoothie. I tried the avocolada and the ultimate club for the sandwich. The smoothie was great! Better than I expected. I couldn't stop drinking it lol. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Pathetic service...don't waste your time at this location. Employees are slow as molasses and could care less if you have to wait. You may or may not get your correct order. Multiple times I have had to wait 30+minutes just to get a smoothie, food is worse. No management, employees have zero communication skills, place is dirty and gross. If you want Tropical Smoothie go to another location that actually meets the brand standard...this one certainly does not read more

Smoothie tasted like ice but they did make it over and it was better the second time.

Second time I went and my smoothie did not taste as it usually does . I also bought the peanut butter banana wrap there was no bananas in it . I'm not sure if she was new or what . And lately it's been a bad smell when you walk in . read more

Fast smoothies, but we ordered a sandwich, a wrap and kids quesadilla and 20 minutes later we still didn't have food. They had one guy on food and three people on smoothies. Food good but the slowest service I have encountered at a Tropical Smoothie. read more

I went twice in the past couple weeks and received terrible service. The first time, the only employee there was cleaning and didn't notice my party waiting at the register for a few minutes. After we placed our order, we sat down and waited for a few more minutes when three other employees walked in, all with to-go drinks in their hands. They started working on our order but got part of it wrong so we didn't bother to correct it. At that point, the restaurant had gotten busy and they were scrambling to catch up. The most recent time, I was refused food after walking in an hour and a half before closing time. Not sure if it's because of poor management or lazy workers but something needs to be fixed here. read more

Go elsewhere. All the good reviews are 3 years ago when experienced employees were there. The smoothie had to be scooped into the cup and cannot be consumed by straw. Mostly ice. Too scared to ask for a redo when we had to repeat the order. Enter at your own risk!! read more

I , luv, LOVE! this Cafe. If you like it clean. If you like it fresh. If you like it heart healthy, well this is the place for you. Their smoothies are the bomb. Their wraps are Rock'n. I love being full and feeling good about what I just ate. I have health issues so I can only have that good goodness from now on. This is that new new that makes me forget the old 1000 cow burger joints. Full of fillers and msg. I'm so done with that. So if you like places that are a cut above such as Penara and Whole foods, you'll love this place too. And their prices are moderate. read more

Lovely little surprise while traveling to the Bahamas via Florida. With all the Heat and everything I was feening for something LIGHT and DELICIOUS and also REFRESHING. I tell you what utilizing the Yelp filters I really hit the jackpot with this one. If you're in the mood, they've probably got you covered. Everything from smoothies to alcohol-free tropical drinks, wonderful wraps and lip-smacking sandwiches freshly prepared before your eyes . Or an advance if you call in your order as I did LOL. Also I don't know about you, but I just LOVE when you walk into a place and it just smells FRESH and it looks so CRISP and CLEAN. YKW, I'm about to look up the nearest one as soon as I'm done here. Tropical Smoothie Cafes are the best. Their smoothies are reasonably priced, and have the best ingredients. Fiancé and I stopped for lunch, both had smoothies, he had a wrap and I had a bowl. I hate to write this because I love this place. However, the customer service was a joke. 10+ customers waiting for their orders while two employees watched one employee work. The one employee that was working had an ear-pod in and was on the phone, completely disengaged from the task of making orders. 25 minutes to get a watered down smoothie I ended up throwing away was not worth my time. I wish this location success. read more

Great customer service, the berry smoothie with oatmeal is delicious. Smoothie bar is clean, convenient location.

Terrible customer service. I walked in and waited 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Meanwhile, the line behind me increased to five people and none of the four employees behind the counter said a word. Finally, I asked if someone could take our orders. One employee yelled to the back to another employee to ask them to come take the order. So now we're at five employees and no one has greeted the line of customers. The employee in the back yells for one in the front to take orders. When I finally attempted to place my order after close to 15 minutes, the employee proceeded to tell me that they are out of avocados (the main ingredient in the smoothie I wanted). This is not the first time I have experienced poor customer service at this business. On average, three out of five visits have had some kind of issue. This is just the first time I've shared about it. Save your time and go somewhere else. read more

Great if you want your order wrong the first...and second time. My husband and I come to this place a lot because it is one of the few places in Macon with vegetarian and vegan friendly options. We like to call ahead which is usually hit or miss...they may leave you on hold indefinitely or not start your order until you get there which defeats the purpose. The food is always great, but when we walk in we both wonder "what is going to be the issue this time?" Between forgetting smoothies, waiting to start our order (when the employees are busy arranging cups), and making our sandwiches with real chicken instead of beyond meat, a trip here is never without a little hang up. Fantastic food, but make sure you carve out an extra 15 minutes for any issues. read more

FIRST when we walked in there was one person there who wasn't even waiting. My sister ordered in front of me and payed, but the girl didn't charge her for her second smoothie so she needed to come back and pay, and they also got the food order wrong and just put some chicken and cheese together. How are you gonna advertise something new and not know how to make it! Then l went next and the girl got my order wrong and even read it back wrong because she got my sisters order and mine mixed up, she did not add oats which l asked for and added kiwi l didn't ask for on another so l was overcharged. None of us got the correct receipt so we could see what we were charged and then my mom ordered and wasn't charged for a sandwich so she had to come back and pay for ANOTHER sandwich. We were in there for over 45 minutes which is unacceptable for 4 smoothies and some food! We didn't get an apology, a comp, NOTHING. Idk if everyone was new but i will NEVER be back to this particular place again. I told my family we should have went to smoothie king around the corner and l see that I was right! read more
