I am an avid fan of Starbucks but the customer service here is HORRIBLE. Each time I come whether it's morning or night, i am greeted with rudeness. There is no greetings except for "go ahead with your order". Team members here are rude and have no sense of respect for others. I stop here any time I am headed on i-75 or when I am in the area. This is one of the dirtiest Starbucks I've been to. Bathroom. Pee everywhere. Boxes....Ok- I get that you gotta unload boxes, but all 4times I've been here...boxes everywhere and almost every table closed. With at least 5 employees present you would think items could be put away by 2:30pm and bathrooms maybe free of brown splatter. Does not present like a Starbucks ...more like the gas station...... I've stopped here more times than I can count on my way to Atlanta and back home to Savannah. It's just off I-75, and a great spot to caffeine refuel. It's a typical Starbucks, and perhaps on another occasion I would have rated it lower. But, today, the young man that waited on me was extremely helpful - hence the 5 stars! The customer service at this store is horrible. Absolutely horrible. I've had agents refuse to ring my purchase because they stated they did not know how and they simply dismissed me. They refused to call another store to find out. I have also been overcharged repeatedly. I have requested my cold teas to be without ice and to my surprise they filled the cup about halfway. I could not believe my eyes. I had paid for a Venti cold tea which comes in a clear cup. It was at the halfway mark. The barista explained to me that they were suppose to only fill it halfway because the ice is suppose to make up the other volume. But I ordered it without ice. She said they could only serve half a cup. I later found out she had her measurements off and it was actually suppose to be a greater amount of tea. And I had one agent refuse to hand my drink to me out the window. I ordered. She sat the drink on the window ledge with a straw, slammed shut the window and walked away. She was not assisting any other customer. She was just walking around. I thought how rude. I'm African American. She was white. I can't say definitively that her behavior was because of some racial Animus. I mean, it is starbucks. But she made a very odd move, it was extremely rude and odd behavior, and given today's environment I do wonder if the fact that I'm black had something to do with it. The store was pretty much empty. I was the only person in the drive thru. She was not making another drink. I looked through the window and she simply turned her back on me. Two hours after I left the store, I realized that I had accidentally left my little purse in the restroom and when I called the store, she already had it in a safe, contents untouched, ready for me to pick up. It's a bit tricky getting into this place, but worth it! I dropped in on my way back onto the road to FL for a small bite to eat. There was a lovely employee standing with an ordering pad right at the drive through smiling. She took my order and even helped with my selections, smiling the whole time. Such a nice first impression! My order was prepared in timely fashion and ready when I got to the window. Venti hot Earl Grey plain, warmed up pumpkin bread, and berry yogurt parfait. Both times the girl said Starbucks has a shortage of certain supplies, and so I asked two different locations near my home and they didn't know what I was talking about. Recently, being on the road once or twice a month for 3 to 10 days at a time, I have grown to appreciate a good coffee shop.  Consistent beverage quality, readily available power and data connections, good seating and work area, and broad operating hours make a big difference to me when away from home.    Starbucks consistently does this well at nearly all the full service locations I have had the opportunity to use in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia along the I-95 and I-20 corridors; as well as central Georgia near I-75.   One store I frequent, when in central Georgia, is the 121 Tom Hill Sr Blvd location in Macon.  This location is easy to miss, as it sits at the end of a strip mall-like area that is down the hill from the roadway.  They are nonetheless well frequented by both mobile customers and those looking to spend a while.  Today I arrived around noon. I immediately got to work on my To Do list. After a half hour I ordered from the mobile app and resumed work. The pumpkin cream topped "nitro" cold brew was ready in about 5 minutes.  It was cold, refreshing, and tasted just like one I had in Warner Robin's recently.  A staff member circulated the shop asking customers how their visit was.  She checked at my table, chatted for a minute, and moved on. Just enough time was spent to let me know my patronage was valued, but not enough to break my stride.   The store has a well kept, but slightly weathered feel that will be familiar to frequent coffee shop customers.  It has a decent mix of table, window perimeter, and long-table seating. The rest room was reasonably clean.   As I wrapped up and departed the store, the staff member who was earlier speaking to customers in their dining room told me good bye.  As I prepare to drive back to central North Carolina this afternoon, my experience at the 121 Tom Hill Sr Starbucks puts a pleasant period at the end of my time in this area.   I will be back again. read more

After waiting a few min., got told they were out of dragon fruit and was given this (see pic). $5 for lemonade. Frequent patron of this branch. They can get excessively busy in the afternoons and mornings, but they're you're typical Starbucks. All the bells and whistles that would be expected. read more

I would give a negative one star if I could. This location hands down could be the WORST one in all of Macon, GA. It's understandable that a work shortage is present i.e not enough people willing to work. But it's the same issue every time I give them the benefit of doubt. They employ a huge majority of rude, unhygienic and customer service lacking employees. It's probably only three good employees at this location that have common sense and know how to execute their job well. This last experience put the icing on the cake. I will never return to this location again I don't care how bad I want my fix. I always place my mobile orders just so I could have my drink prepared exactly how I like it and give them enough time to fix it. Today, I couldn't even get my drink... placed the order and I got there just to see they were swamped. Okay that's understandable I sat to the side and gave them some time to get things under control. I noticed drinks started rolling out but they didn't go in order of how they were placed. So I walked up to get someone's attention and I got ignored back to back. I wanted my drink at first but in the end I wanted a refund. The main person that ignored me was some heavy set Caucasian lady. I guess she was waiting to get off since she stopped doing anything, she was just walking back and forth looking at an iPad like she was doing work. Then when it was time to clock out she hurried up and grabbed her purse from the back. The last time she walked off in the middle of me trying to get her attention so I could just get a refund. Mind you my order was placed way ahead of time and the pickup time was 3:55 PM. I wasn't able to get someone's attention until 4:16 PM. I had to ask a nice young lady that was stocking to stop what she was doing for a refund since the 6 scoundrels making drinks couldn't get it together. All throughout the waiting period I saw with my four eyes (my physical eyeballs and seeing glasses) the unhygienic methods used. It was a Caucasian employee making drinks, a customer said that the drink was very watery and asked for a remake. The cup was grabbed and crossed the counter after being in possession of the customer. Not proper protocol for food/drink safety nor common hygiene standards such as if the person is diseased or a coronavirus host. She plopped the drink back in the blender put whatever liquid with it and blended it again then topped it with whipped cream. So now it's germs and whatever else that person could've been a host to all over what was touched. Along with the issue of the drink not being balanced because she wanted to take the easy way out. The most logical method would've been to take the time that was used to make that unhygienic monstrosity and start fresh. Then I wouldn't have heard the customer flagging someone else down for another remake. I also saw horse flys bouncing around on already prepared drinks and on the syrup/sauce pumps. Not only are they selling drinks but offer a side of COVID, E.Coli/Typhoid Fever and other germs. So kudos to them that's a triple threat right there. Overall the best bet for corporate is to shut them down, retrain all employees most importantly starting with management and deep clean. It's no reason why fly's should have a fiesta 24/7. They can't make up an excuse saying they got in from the door being open no they moved in. Those flys are established they look like they're full time employees how often they're spotted. My order is always hit or miss at this location, sometimes it's great sometimes it's awful. I went yesterday through the drive thru and got my vanilla sweet cream cold brew and my gf wanted an iced green tea latte. The employee asked me if I wanted it hot or iced and I repeated that I wanted it iced. I got to the window to pay for my drinks and the female employee proceeded to hand me a hit green tea latte and I said "no, I asked for an iced green tea latte" so she said "okay sorry about that I'll make you an iced one" so she goes back in and makes an iced green tea latte in like 20 seconds and then hands it to me through window while saying "I just made it a different way because it would take too long long to make it the regular way" and the drink she handed me had clumps of matcha powder floating in it and all over the lid, and was just awful. This Starbucks is right off the freeway and has a drive through, making it a great stop during a road trip. It can be crowded both inside and out, but a strong dose of caffeine is always worth the wait in my book. We stop every time we pass through. Clean facilities, great coffee, and friendly service. All four of us ordered & received our drinks in a timely manner with a smile. The cashier even stepped from behind the outer to settle a pastry dispute. Nothing too special, but whenever I come here the staff is always friendly. One time when the holiday season was starting (which meant they had a variety of seasonal flavors), I visited this place wanting to try something new. This Macon Tom Hill Sr Blvd Starbucks location is very convenient for the I-75 traveler who seeks some java. I am unsure why I never have stopped here, but something about the day I went made that specific location beckon to me. I was on my way to the Shoppes at River Crossing when all of a sudden, yet another Starbucks urge made me turn off onto the exit....yes, another (I had already stopped at the Warner Robins location twice that day). Luckily, it was a good experience. I ordered a basic Christmas blend with some room for cream and sugar and looked around. The location is very clean and filled with all sorts of academics from student to dean. Amongst the sea of books and highlighters, the yummy aroma of Starbucks coffees and treats permeated the air. Overall, I would definitely get my fix here again. However, the only reason there are only 4 stars instead of 5 is because the barista I had was rather creepy and that is not cool. read more

I found this to be a great Starbucks! It's clean and quiet with several little areas to sit and read or chat with friends while you enjoy your delicious beverage. I've been there a few times and my favorite drink is the Java Chip Frap Light. This location, like all Starbucks, comes readily equipped with just the right amount of snootiness and pretension that we've all come to expect!
