This is gonna be an easy review because of how terrible this place is. I ordered at 6:54 A.M, right before I left from LMU to go pick it up. I am on the way to an admitted student day so I figured 10 minutes advance is enough time for an order to be ready- like any other starbucks or any other restaurant period for that matter. I get there and my drink is ready, then I wait 10 minutes. No food yet. 20 minutes. Still no food. I'm actually typing this while still waiting. Seriously ridiculous, it does not take 45 minutes to make a sandwich and a bagel. If an actual restaurant can push out meals FRESHLY MADE at a high rate, there's no excuse for the frozen bricks of flavorless mush that they heat up in a toaster oven to take this long to make. Seriously, do they just hire anyone these days?? I saw an employee repeatedly dropping a bagel while trying to cut it in half. Speaking of which, All I ordered was a sandwich, a bagel, and a pumpkin loaf for my girlfriend and I. 45 minutes for that. The bagel gets toasted, the sandwich is assembled when its frozen so what could possible take so long. If you have places to be, do NOT go here. If you're hungry, do NOT go here. If you want to wait over half an hour for food, then this is your place. Seriously, few experiences in my life had made me this angry. Corporate if you see this FIRE EVERYONE THAT WAS WORKING THIS MORNING AT THE 8400 LINCOLN LOCATION. I saw numerous others waiting for a very long time to get their food, and I know that I certainly wasn't the only one inconvenienced by this. Absolutely ABSURD that this place is still in business. I'm seriously astonished about how you can possibly be so terrible at running a restaurant where you unwrap things, heat them up, and put them in a bag. This is one of the better Starbucks IMHO. I've stopped here a number of times. Today it was to grab a cup of coffee heading back from a drop-off at LAX. It's quite nice looking with natural light from two walls of windows. There are tables inside and out front. Service is friendly. This review is only is only due to my experience here with the early morning opening crew. I haven't gone to this establishment at another time other than 6am-8:00am so take my review lightly. The food and drinks here are good. It tastes like any other Starbucks store. I haven't had any issues with getting the wrong drink or my drink not being up to par so no complaints there. The only thing I would improve here is the acknowledgment when I come in. I understand that it's early in the morning - some people, my self included, are not big morning people and that's fine. I'm not asking for a forced smile or an overly eager attitude while taking my order - I'm just asking for acknowledgment when you see me standing in front of the register to order and there is no one else in the store. There are about 3 workers doing their own thing in the front and that's fine, you don't need to drop what you're doing to take my order as soon as I get there but at least say "Hi! I'll be right with you" Instead of having me stand in silence for 5 minutes after making eye contact with me. read more

After entering this store around 11am today I noticed about 5 workers behind the counter arguing about who's turn it is to take the next orders. Once the young girl arrived to take my order you could tell she didn't want to be there. Without a good morning greeting or a simple Welcome her attitude was obvious. I ordered a grande Carmamel macchiato she then asked me what size ? I repeated the grande and she still looked at me like she wasn't even listening. Thank goodness the drink was made without issue. I came here at 4:50 AM this morning after doing a quick Google search of Starbucks in my local area. I was surprised to find that this one which is located in the Bristol Farms shopping plaza was open most days at 4:30 AM! Incredulous and desperately craving coffee I drove here salivating and anticipating a desperate caffeine fix this morning as I was up working on a project for my non profit. When I entered two employees greeted me with warm smiles which must not have been easy given the time that they were working . I too have had early shifts and I know how tough it can be to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor when you're simply tired due to working odd hours . I applaud them..5 stars simply based on the service I received . Food wise everything was available at that time so I ordered a pistachio iced latte ( not as good as the seasonal toffee which was just taken off the menu ) but still satisfying nonetheless as well as the new cheddar chive potato bites priced around $5 and some change as well as the Bacon Gouda sandwich and Bacon Gruyère egg bites . My hands down favorite was the sandwich but the egg bites and potato bites were a really close second ! I loved the velvety fully texture of the egg bites as well as the richness that came from the Gruyère cheese . Eating the potato bites also felt like a decadent affair . I know I'm late to the party but Starbucks definitely knows what's up . I get their success finally as someone who has historically only patronized local family coffee shops instead of mega commercial chains . read more

Sometimes you see a Starbucks and you stop because you want what they have. Such as what happened having just gotten out of LAX and driving the back way home (on Lincoln Blvd). This location isn't very big and doesn't have any comfy chairs or a lot of tables, which is a shame because it doesn't have a drive thru...so you'd think the location would have something so it could stand out. It does have an outdoor seating area. We hoped in for a quick coffee beverage order...and speaking on that regard, the barista serving us was friendly and we got our drinks and was on the road again in a timely manner. This has been my neighborhood Starbucks for 25 years and I've never had any issues until today .... After ordering my coffee I asked the barrista named Dylan for the bathroom code ... he rudely answered I would first need to order as it was only for customers ... ok I could possibly understand if this is now in place because of homeless issues but come on . I've been to this location a couple of times and done mobile orders. They're ready almost immediately and have been correct each time I've gone! Haven't had an issue with finding parking but always go in the middle of the day. It's a smaller location, some seating indoors but it's generally pretty busy. read more

The service at the Starbucks has really gone down the drain. First of all, I had ordered a bacon, egg and gouda sandwich and they left off the bacon. Grrrrr Today, I don't know what happened. I woke up, I ordered my caramel frap on the app and then proceeded to the store to pick up my frap. You can imagine my surprise after I learned that my frap wasn't ready. Furthermore, I couldn't even find my order on the app. This has never happened 2 me before and since there were only two people in line I decided to place my order with the cashier. I ordered a Frappuccino and a coffee cake. I then wandered over to Subway to pick up a sandwich while I waited for Starbucks to prepare my order. 10 minutes later my coffee cake is nowhere to be found. I asked the guy behind the counter for my coffee cake and he tells me is being heated. I explained to him I didn't ask for it to be heated. He then takes the heat of coffee kick out put in a bag and hands it to me. Really? Did he understand English? I return to the heated coffee cake to him and ask for what I had ordered. He then hands me a coffee cake which clearly indicates on its wrapper the following: " Not labeled for retail sale." It was also dated May 31st 2019. Today is July 18th 2019. Color me confused. Anyway, since my Frappuccino was still three drinks away from being prepared I asked for a refund. There's absolutely no reason why 10 minutes later I shouldn't have my drink. This was just ridiculous!!!. I must say that my Coffee Cake was moist. It had a layer of cinnamon streusel swirled within it and a crumble top that deliciously balanced the sweet cinnamon spice with crunchy goodness. After I left Starbucks, I contacted their customer service and they weren't any better than the store. Put me on hold for 10 minutes after I ask to speak to a supervisor. Took me another 20 minutes to try and get ahold of a supervisor. I finally gave up and asked for the link where I could submit my complaint. The customer service responded with a canned response and offered me a $7 refund. I continued to ask them about the strange wrapper on coffee cake. They then responded with an additional $10 refund and no mention of the odd wrapper. So I don't know what the deal is with this coffee cake read more

Possibly lucky timing. Walked in and there was no one in front of us. The cashier was very friendly, and the barista did a great job with the order. Fast, friendly, and delicious. What more can you want? We also found convenient parking in the strip mall lot, always a plus. The exterior is utilitarian, and the center it's in is nothing visually wonderful. I had a terrible experience. My first time sitting in a cafe after the pandemic and I eas looking so forward to it. Then these young few working there started yelling accross the room gossiping and talking personal business while blasting musical theatre songs soooo loud I couldn't hear myself think. I literally even went outside for a while to make calls it was so loud and I was shocked honestly. People left that were on few computers we gave eachother eyes cause it was soooo not cool! The one on Maxella I usually went to pre pandemic has jazz and nice chill music with a respectable level and manner.. But this was honestly crazy unprofessional and I couldn't believe it honestly. But I had some very important emails to get done urgently. I made a few gestures that it was outrageously loud and no one did a thing. The staff ignored my few looks shocked how load it kept getting. Then, they start yelling louder accross the room while on opposite sides of me cleaning. I make a comment and say excuse me, you guys are yelling soo loud over the blasting music. It's very obtrusive. I'm honestly shocked management would allow this behavior & kinda thing! What is going on these days. I'm actually a musician so I love Music but this was terribly out of line. I had an awful time tryin to do a few important emails while trying to enjoy my coffee & relax a little. The music & annoying unpro chatter was over the top for any establishment. I've worked in hospitality my whole life and found this outrageous. The girl today gave me major attitude when I nicely said; hey guys, you're yelling Super loud & the music is blasting. I go here all the time and it's so amazing! I have yet to try the pumpkin spice frap! I can't wait! It's a normal Starbucks, but there's many seating options inside and outside, and it's close enough to my school that I can walk to the starbucks to get some school work done or just hangout with my friends after a day of school! I think the place is nice and the bathrooms are clean. The service is good and efficient! The drinks and food come out pretty quickly unless they are super busy, which is typically in the mornings before school or work! Good place, great employees, tasty coffee, clean restroom. The only two negatives I find are the single restroom and not being open late (8:30pm closing). Word of warning: avoid the corner witch. She dumps her stuff off to claim the corner under the speaker, then disappears for hours at a time. The whole area is treated like her own personal office/dumping ground. I watched her come back with food from the Subway next door and a bag full of other non-Starbucks snacks. I don't think I saw her purchase a coffee or anything once. Staff seems to know her by name, though. Maybe she's the franchise owner. In any case, if you somehow claim the corner before her, she will lose her effing mind and be as loud and obnoxious as possible until you leave, at which point she will reclaim her personal corner. Wooden chairs, no comfy cushiony seats. 3 tables (including the long one) have nearby outlets. 1 single-unit bathroom. Good wifi. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't very busy.
