This Starbucks is very popular considering it's the only one nearby Derry/Hudson. I would just like to say they're doing a great job with this whole COVID-19 schedule. Even before this pandemic they tried their best to make everything perfect. If I ever had a problem with a drink, I would ask POLITELY if they could tweak it for me. There was so many times where I would go inside and experience a rude customer (entitled old folks) in front of me which is uncalled for because no one deserves to get spoken down to just because they made one tiny mistake or taking 5 extra minutes. The ONLY bad thing is on the weekends (Fri-Sun - before c-19) you had to order on the go as soon as you get into your car because a lot of the times they're so busy that they fall behind on the mobile orders. If you're an older person, in a rush, my advice to you is order ahead of time, show up early (if you hate waiting) and cut them some slack. If you are in a rush, there's a Dunkin Donuts across the street. Don't be rude because they messed up, ask them to fix it without being entitled. Other than that, this Starbucks is one of the best ones around and I've had nothing but good encounters. If you're a regular they'll even greet you by your name when you walk in, if it's not packed of course. read more

I don't rate places poorly until I have had repeated or one exceptionally bad experience. This particular store is utterly inconsistent. They have about a 10% success rate in my experience. Today with my husband we ordered a trente cold brew with extra cream. The coffee was overly strong and there was next to zero cream. Last week, when I went into the store there were milk cartons strewn all over the counter, the store was in disarray and the employees were frazzled. Another, I got a nitro cold brew but they put ice in it. (Which makes me wonder what that was) I will be driving to Derry in the future. I am willing to pay $6 for the drink I want, but you end up paying 5 times to maybe get one right. read more

This Starbucks is exceptionally bad, and the people working here are brain dead. I have never written a review for any sort of food service establishment before, but I felt compelled after my own harrowing experience here. My fault in a way, because everyone I talked to in town warned me not to go here. Hindsight is 20-20, and the best I can do at this point is to warn others to stay away. Whoever is managing this location needs to investigated by that show "Undercover Boss," and humiliated publicly by an impromptu Gordon Ramsay visit. The workers however do not get a free pass either. I watched one guy sit with my order right in front of him for 20 minutes, while it melted, and then finally put it on the mobile order rack. Worst service experience ever in a service industry. I purchased food, the bags handed to me were covered in coffee mix and god knows what else sugary creamy unsanitary mess and when I put them down on my car seat and I noticed the bag was sopping wet and gross. This isn't the first time the unsanitary conditions have been prevalent here for the last few weeks. Seems like Under trained staff or insanitary conditions. It's worse in the afternoon and weekends when teens are working. Hate to say it; they are lazier and more mistakes occur here! Spend the time with your staff and train better. When this store is busy it is a disaster. Drinks are rushed and not made correctly. Kyle makes drinks "short" and just uses extra whipped cream to fill the void. This is not right considering the cost of items in here. They have lines on the cups for a reason and if you are rushing and not following the formulas you are going to put out garbage. The Londonderry Starbucks is my local spot for late afternoon coffee and tea! When the place first opened almost 2 years ago, I wasn't an immediate fan since the drive-thru waits were very long and the service inside needed work. The coffee needed to improve since it was lukewarm often. Fast forward to 2018, the coffee here is now good and the service is prompt. However, popular items can get sold out at this store (favorite breakfast sandwiches, salads, frappuccinos, certain teas), so I look through my Starbucks app to check which stores will have my favorites before I go. I like the atmosphere of a rustic New England style coffee house with pitched ceiling with exposed wooden beams, soft long seating along the walls (power outlets underneath), 2 high top tables, 2 counter seats, 2 armchairs, and one semi long table & chairs. There is also outside patio seating, but be prepared to breathe in exhaust from idling vehicles in the drive thru lane. I will stay inside the store to enjoy my drinks and pastries. Decided to come back and give them another chance. It looks like they hired some new people to run the kitchen. Our food was good - we ordered some cake pops and they turned out just how you'd expect, however our drinks were unacceptable. They clearly do not have very good sanitary measures to ensure the quality of what you purchase. The drinks had literal human hair in them (it was blue hair, so probably the person that was meowing at us last time) and there was some mysterious brown gunk of the side of one of the lids. This is a shout out to my new "friends" located at the Starbucks in Londonderry, NH. The staff is really an amazing assembly of people. We have spent enough time inside to watch how they truly are a "well oiled" support system both in the store and for the drive thru. They all work together and seem to have a good time doing it with a smile on their face! The manager should be VERY proud of the staffing at this location. I have always been a fan of Starbucks, after all, when you want a cup of coffee you want something that tastes like COFFEE and a quality product! I finally got my best friend to experience a Starbucks and he is now a big fan and has made the switch from Dunks! Sorry DD, your coffee recipe has changed so much over the past 20 years...you can only help people who want "weaker" coffee products. Yes Starbuck's is known to be a bit pricey on some things, but you have to pick and choose your battles. We always get a friendly welcome and thank you for stopping by. They're rude, no nothing about customer service, and their manger just sits in the corner while they all struggle. Have gone up way to much. And always made wrong. And when you ask if they can get it remade your given an attitude and have to wait 20-40 minutes for a remake. This Starbucks just opened in Londonderry it's about time! As I'm sure this location will be very busy. They have a nice outside seating area. I am making my review solely on the drive thru experience. Line was long. I was waiting for exactly 18 min from the time I got in line until the time I got my beverage and left. If you're in a rush I would not use the drive thru. Got the mocha hot to drink venti and paid 5.18 with tax. Taste is the same on par with other Starbucks then again you can't really mess it up. Update: drive thru is slow as hell. You're prob better off going inside if you're in a rush. Callling Starbucks to complain now it's unacceptable. Another update 12/26/16. Drive thru is still slow. I don't get it when there is like nobody inside. Another call to corporate to complain. I hate to do it but when I see people walking in and out. Severely understaffed, and poorly managed. I utilize the mobile application to save time, as that is my most precious commodity, but this well intentioned application is ultimately the main source of my anger. It's a pretty simple issue; When I place an order, Starbucks sets my expectations by providing me a pickup timeframe. For the past 2 weekends, my pickup timeframe was 7-10 minutes from the time I placed my order. Last weekend my coffee wasn't ready until 35 minutes after my pickup time, and today it wasn't ready until 40 minutes after my pickup time. I tried speaking to the manager about why I find this frustrating, but rather than sympathize with what I was saying, she blamed "corporate", and their inability to figure out the "algorithms necessary to get the pickup time correct". Honestly, I don't care what the issue is, or who's to blame; I just want my coffee when I'm told it'll be ready. read more

There was a long line of cars waiting and just as confused as I was. They locked the front door as well. I understand there is a labor shortage but this is the second time this type of thing has happened at this location that I have experienced. Complete lack of management and communication. I was one car away from ordering when a male employee with a grey beanie came out of the store and placed A TABLE in front of my car. The time was 2:55. The store isn't supposed to close until 3pm. I mobile order here often and will order before I leave my house (10+ minutes depending on the traffic) if I order multiple drinks I show up and likely only 1 of my 2-3 drinks are made and I am sitting there waiting another 10-15 min for them to finish my entire 3 "basic" drink order consisting of cold brew black iced coffees and iced coffee w sweet creams... Not complicated orders. Then, bless my soul, I go this morning and my whole mobile order is ready. I forgot to order a banana pound cake slice. I walk up, order at the cash register (about 6 people working, only 2 actually preparing food or drinks) and was then forced to sit there for another 5 minutes while I watched 4 people working standing around chatting when all I was waiting around for was for one person to grab a slice of bread without heating etc. Unfortunately this is a consistent issue at this location where there is 0 sense of urgency to have people in and out the door... If the drive through and mobile orders are slammed, do NOT, I repeat, do NOT think it would be smart to stand in the nonexistent line and order inside as you will regret it. This isn't a Covid issue, this seems to be a very badly managed store issue. The last three times I've gone in my order has been wrong. Two of these orders have been mobile. Nothing special, 1 iced matcha, 1 hot matcha. For some reason they can't seem to get it. I do understand they are all kids. I don't lose my patience or my temper but seriously, someone should be looking at what's going on here. Almost each time I visit here 1 drink is being dumped. Profit down the drain. This is the only sBux for miles, so naturally it's busy. With that in mind, better management is desperately needed. A couple weeks ago they closed the store. And reopened sooner than what was stated. That was nice, in theory. I know how busy this store is, so I send my mobile order with a 15m head start so I can grab and go. Meanwhile there's rarely less than 5 ppl standing in the store bc they have not figured out the timing yet- they will get there. But mobile ordering is turned off now. There's 30pp in here and one cannot park due to all of the cars. And she just hollered out for everyone to social distance. Having never managed a sBux, I am perhaps drawing a logical fallacy. But maybe mobile ordering drastically reduces the number of people loitering about the store while they wait for their coffee and bagel? This also creates parking spaces so others can get in? There may be something I'm entirely missing here- this is based on observation alone. read more

This was the slowest Starbucks I have ever been in. There were 6 people working at noon on a Sunday and it took forever to get a cold brew.

I use to spend a lot of money here and on there bagged beans. I think the pricing has gotten steep as well. But the woman there in the morning, the heavier barista is just miserable. Is it too much to ask for a "good morning" or "have a good day" or anything at all for that matter. Every morning she opens the window scans my phone hands me my overpriced drink and doesn't say two words. This has gone on for months. The other day she was very rude to my wife because my wife asked for 1 cream and it came out looking like a cup of ice and cream. She sighed which was rude but at least I know she could speak. She snatched the coffee and put her arm out the window and said nothing and closed the window. We spend about 200-250 a month on thier product but no more. Clueless, dirty, flies, don't clean tables, don't care about the flies if you ask them. Never any cream/skim/etc. available for people sitting nor for people coming in to pick up drinks. This used to be a nice Starbucks, and as it is the only one convenient to us has been a regular stop. May not be any more. I don't want to blame the staff, as it seems to be more an issue of poor management. Over the last couple months my drink orders have been wrong about 75% of the time. Sometimes made wrong, sometimes wrong size, and sometimes wrong drink completely. And these are all mobile orders. The wait for orders is always very long. Plus they have been out of most drinks including their seasonal drinks for weeks now, while other local stores have had stock. Unfortunately I don't see this location staying open much longer unless they improve. read more
