I was pretty surprised to find that this location only has three stars on yelp. I work nearby and stop here at least twice a week. Although I do have to admit, I usually drive thru when the morning rush is over - maybe that works in my favor? I don't think I've ever had to have them remake my drink at this location and that's an occasional encounter even at the highest performing Starbucks. During my visits, I find the employees are always authentically friendly and the drive thru seems to consistently move along in a timely matter. In the times where I visited inside, the condiment bar is always tidy, bathrooms are clean and lobby is well maintained. They have comfortable furniture with a variety of seating. read more

We ordered two iced teas and asked about the hot tea options since the menu didn't list them. The staff member seemed a bit annoyed that we asked, which made the interaction uncomfortable. That said, the teas themselves tasted really good. The space was clean and well organized, which we appreciated. I go to this Starbucks frequently in the mornings since it is on my commute to work. The staff is very friendly and my order is made correctly the majority of the time. However, a couple members of the team are so chatty and repeat my order multiple times where it gets frustrating as the line gets held up and I get stressed about running late to work. I wish I would just receive a simple "good morning" and get my drink. No need to say my name and order back to me 4 times :) (this is just meant as constructive feedback. Whomever is in charge of hiring the managers and baristas and drive thru cashiers need to be retrained. I typically go to the Starbucks near my home. There are two. I have never had any issues or problems with the Thursday 50% off deals (12-6). I was at the Hobby Lobby and we decided to pop in and take advantage of 50% off ANY drinks today. I ordered a holiday hot latte and a frozen chai latte frap. Get to the window and the person with the colorful hair tells me it is 50% off of just one drink, the highest price drink. I was flabbergasted. Surely, she wasn't trained properly. Surely, she hadn't seen the app that said 50% off ANY drink. Not 50% off ONE drink. At my two local Starbucks it has always been 50% off the ENTIRE total price of ANY drinks, one or more. I showed her the app. She didn't budge. She then proceeds to try to force me to pay. I said no lady, CANCEL. I will go to my local Starbucks. You arent overcharging me and then pocketing the difference. The manager CHLOE comes to the window. How did she become manager? Like, really. No personality, no help, no kindness. She reiterated the same nonsense as the cashier. And instead of saying, "Mam, the drinks are already made, next time please know it is 50% off one drink at THIS location, but this time you can have them both 50% off. Nooo, instead she dumps the drinks and refunds me. Waisted Starbucks money and lost a customer. We will not be returning to this location. And I will be contacting corporate for their failed attempt to DUPE people out of money. read more

The inside is closed so the drive thru line is 15 cars deep. I can understand if Covid numbers were spiking but now it's just an excuse and inconvenience to customers. I saw 2 people get out of line and leave before I did the same. Looks like a Dunkin morning. read more

Warning: Drinks are consistently under filled at this location. Every time I have gone here my $6.77 drink is only 3/4 of the way full. I hate asking for my drink to be remade/filled up and quite frankly I often don't have time to wait. But, when paying almost $7 for a 16oz latte why should there only be 12oz in the cup? There are several new hires that are seeeeriously lacking in personality and look bored as fu#k at the window. The newbies have even chopped down the greeting to "What can I get you?" or "What can I get started for you?" -- omitting any salutation ("Hi," "Welcome to Starbucks," etc). C'mon Ladies - at least fake some enthusiasm! It cheapens things when, as the customer, I'M the one greeting you. (Oh, and it'd be nice if my same coffee order tasted the same each time, instead of bitter some late [10:15ish am] mornings...) This is a Starbucks double drive through! There is no seating and strictly to go. They are pretty efficient in the morning and lunch time rush, since they utilize the building space well with operating registers on both sides of the building. Signage is well lit and often have new items on the board to try. The drive through speakers are fully functional, so you can clearly state you want your "venti, cinnamon dolce latte with either skim milk, almond milk or coconut milk." I guess depending on what personality you put on this morning. read more

Love this quick stop. This is more as a review for all Starbucks, but this one was the winner for this order (not in a good way). Doesn't the "double smoked bacon, egg, cheddar" sandwich sound delicious? Don't you picture crispy hot bacon off the grill with melty cheese? How do you all like this Starbucks? I hope my experience was just a total fluke! I woud definitely be giving it zero stars if possible. I stopped here the other day on the way to my aunts house to pick up some iced coffee and a nice cold tea for my little cousin with mono. It took me about 15 minutes to get my orders and get them CORRECTLY made while cars piled up behind me. It was seriously just a chaotic mess. I pulled up. Ordered a large passion fruit tazo iced tea and told the girl I had a reusable cup that I would like to have her fill with sweetened ice coffee with soy milk. She says, "what?" So I explain again and again. Until she understands that I have a reusable cup that I would like to have her fill with sweetened ice coffee with soy milk. "Oh.. okay. Pull up to the window." I pull up at the window and she is ignoring me taking another customer's order, which obviously has to happen. At first I didn't realize she was on the headset so I started speaking to her. Obviously that was a huge inconvenience because she continued ignoring me after she got off her headset to see if any other employees heard that customer's order because she couldn't hear it. You could just sense her crappy mood spilling over into her customer service skills. Then she takes my cup, takes my cash, and takes my Starbucks card, and slowly rings up the order. She doesn't give me my Starbucks card back. She fills up my cup with coffee. Not sweetened, no soy milk (but was I charged for soy milk? You betcha!). When I asked her to put the soy milk in, she sighed, and then asked if I wanted it on the side or wanted me to dump some out. Uhm, I paid for it to be in the drink, dump some out please. In the process, another girl brings me a small tazo passion fruit ice tea. I told her I had ordered a large so she goes back to fix it. This is where it just gets ridiculous. The first girl brings me my drink, then brings me the large tazo tea and apologizes that she brought me the larger size by accident. I told her, "no, I ordered the large so I had her go back and make it large." She actually argued with me. Like, fought with me. She told me that I said "Tall," which I know I did not say because I am incapable of ordering in Starbucks terms. I never remember to do it and ALWAYS go small, medium, or large. But, just to sit there in the drive through and argue with a customer- ridiculous. Oh yeah, and then SHE MADE ME PAY THE EFFING 87 CENT DIFFERENCE. She actually rang me up for 87 cents. Are you effing with me? After all of that I had to actually ask her for my card because because she still hadn't given it to me. And, oh yeah, and then I got to my aunt's house, had my coffee and it wasn't sweetened. At that point I was just over this whole experience. What a mess. And I know this review makes me sound like a biatch, but I promise you, I'm generally very understanding if you have a polite attitude. Which this girl never did. read more

This rating is relative to all Starbucks. This is the slowest to Starbucks I've ever been to! It took me 10 minutes today to get my drink! I come here because it is convenient to my location, but I often find that it will take less time to go to the Starbucks down Roosevelt Road instead of this one. If there is another Starbucks or coffee place on your way to your destination, go to that one. Chicagoland has the highest density of Starbucks compared to any other city in the world. NORMALLY I like coming to this Starbucks because it's a unique drive-thru only store and the girls here are super efficient. But today, alas, I am disappointed. It hurts. I drive up and order the usual for my boyfriend and I. The girl taking the order didn't seem to get the order the first time so I offered to start my order over just to clarify. Went to the window to pick up the drinks and drive off. The boyfriend tasted his drink and it was terrible. He normally orders his frappucino light and his drink today was extra sweet. It tasted like straight up syrup. We went back to perhaps have his drink re-made. Rather than just an "oh, ok we can make you a new drink or give you a refund, sorry about that", who seemed to be the manager came off as super annoyed and said "we can make you a new drink or give you a refund, whatever you want to do" with a hand flick and rolling her eyes. I'm sorry? Where is the sass/poor attitude coming from? Rather than taking the offer for his drink to be re-made, we just took the refund. She didn't even say the word "sorry" throughout the entire encounter. Really? Saying "sorry" is too much to offer as a manager handling a very simple customer service inquiry? Unbelievable. Okay, this is now my new favorite Starbucks. It's a little drive up that had a wonderful face-lift last year. When I shouted out my order it was returned with a really nice greeting, a guy with a sense of humor, someone who sounded happy to make my drink. I pulled up in jubilation. I was starting to salivate. I would get the drink my body craved! The three people working here were having a great time; the place was super busy, but they frothed on in a calm and happy way. I couldn't believe the difference in establishments but I will never go back to the other again. My non fat extra hot extra caramel caramel machiato, no whip was absolutely perfect!!!! I was groaning it was so smooth. Sheesh, I should have gotten a vente, it was that good. When it comes to customer service I am a pretty fair person. When it comes to excellent customer service I am not only a super generous person, but also wonderfully appreciative, and I will sing your praises. After 6:30 in the morning it starts to get a little crowded but luckily since this is a drive up only they have 2 sides with windows. This Starbucks is interesting, I have never seen anything like it. It is a double sided drive-thru with no lobby. It is right off of Roosevelt Rd and Main St. It is a great place to stop if you are headed East on Roosevelt. If you are headed West, keep that seatbelt tight and hope for the best when you race out of the lot turning left. The customer service here is a bit spotty and it is hard for them to hear you in the speaker. Last time I had to yell the whole time. I have had great experiences here and bad ones. Cutest Starbucks ever!!! I mean, I can't think of any other Starbucks that are drive-thru ONLY AND there is a drive up on both sides of the building!!! I've seen this location for years, and stopped by there this morning. At a quarter to 9, there was no wait, no line so I pretty much flew through there. The woman waiting on me was super friendly, however while waiting at the window waiting for my drink to be made, I overheard another employee complaining about a customer which is HIGHLY unprofessional. Her words: "That woman is such a bitch, she just needed something to complain about again...like I'd put dairy in her cider? She's crazy!" Yeah... how about doing that in a place where customers can't hear you, nor see you. I've worked with the public in many ways, I've had my complaints but I wouldn't think of doing it in view of other customers. I had to knock down the star ratings for that one...other than that, all was good at this location. This Starbucks seriously downgraded when it converted from a double drive thru to a Starbucks with a dining room. They're so slow now and the line is always wrapped around the building. The line isn't just because of them being busy it's because they are super slow now. Also, they're sign states lower prices than they're actually charging. Sign said $4.95 before tax and I was charged $6. When I asked about the difference in prices the barista just said that the sign was wrong. I love this Starbucks. My husband and I go to this location almost every day. The people that work there are great and are the main reason we come to that particular location. One of the barista's, Elsie, is particularly awesome. She is quick, gets our orders right, and is just fun to talk to - a great experience.
