As others have mentioned, this review is for the the one inside the food court at Metropolis…read more Parking is plentiful in the nice large underground lot. There isn't quite enough room for lining up, so the queue spreads into the eating area. The staff here are super busy, but they got my order correct. Lastly, my coffee tasted like coffee. Excellent.

I'd like to give this store 5 stars because the barista's are friendly and they have time to talk…read moreto their customers. They build rapport and know their regular customers. Especially that girl barista with a light brown hair. I seldom see this kind of customer service anymore. Takes time to say hi and asks the customers how their day is going. I'm big on customer interaction being in a client facing industry and it doesn't have to be a long conversation. It goes a long way and makes the job enjoyable. Sadly it's something you don't see often nowadays. You can tell that her regular customers know her. As for the store, it is clean, plenty of tables, bathroom is clean, there's plenty of parking, service was fast. Music was not blasting as some of the Starbucks I've been to. As for coffee I usually have the same tall Pike and is consistent in all Starbucks I've been to. Nice job!

I visited Starbucks for new spring menu…read more What I got: Iced Cherry Chai - topped with a cherry flavoured cold foam withfloral and almond flavor and a cherry flavoured topping I think one of the best featured item I had in starbucks. Chai had strong flavor and sweetness was perfect. (I chose less ice) cherry flavoured cold foam was addictive. Very creamy and matched with chai so well. I will order again. iced lavender cream oat matcha -creamy oat matcha served with lavender cream cold foam This item was also great.. Lavender cream cold form was also addictive and matched with matcha. It was very delicious, too. Overall, I am so satisfied with their spring menu. I wish they offer this 2 items for permanent menu..!!

Came here to use up all my stars before they change the star redemption program. I got two drinks:…read more1) Venti Mocha Cookie Frap and 2) Venti Latte Triple expresso Vanilla. Both drinks were very standard and didn't taste anything too special. I have to say Starbucks drinks are pretty much the same where you go. Only one thing I don't like at the moment is their paper straw. The drink was tasty. This location is located inside Lougheed mall and I have to say it is quite a big Starbucks.

How MATCHA times have you've seen this drink?…read more Matcha crème frappacino is one of my favourite drinks from Starbucks. I always ask for extra matcha to get that full flavour. There is no charge for extra matcha as well. I don't usually like drinks too sweet, so I asked for "half sweet" but kept the whipping cream because of course, that is one of the best parts of the drink!

Starbucks is always consistent in delivering a good and consistent product…read more The variations of orders is always interesting. The staff is so experienced that our Grande half sweet caramel macchiato with half drizzle is on point. The thing that sets this location apart from the others is the staff. Sloppy location. I said I wouldn't be back previously, now I mean it.

It can get crowded, especially in the afternoon with students studying there or just chilling. The washroom is clean. It has quite a homely feel here with friendly baristas who will actually recognize/remember you if you are a regular. I am not here everyday, so it really took me by surprise when the barista remembered my name when I asked for a glass of water about 30 minutes after getting my coffee. That was really nice, makes one feel at home.

After a long break from having starbucks, i decided to check out the starbucks in my neighbourhood…read moreafter they did some renovations and construction work on the outside. I remember the first time i ever had starbucks as a kid was at this same location too. The moment i walked in i was greeted, staff was very bubbly. Store was tidy, no stains or spills visible, im a very observant individual and i notice things even at the corner of my eye lol. But yup they were spotless. Ambiance was pretty quiet yet busy. While i was visiting, i decided to redeem my free starbucks drink birthday offer. The girls were really good at telling me the new items and what drink combinations went well with one another. I ended up going with the largest size and got their purple dragon drink and got them to add their new topping (popping boba) and man was it ever delicious! I devoured that drink shortly after. This location remains to still have a small study area and a few tables outside where you can sit and enjoy a coffee while getting some fresh air. Parking is still shared with the other business surrounding. You can still find the cute cups/ tumblrs and buy coffee beans / syrups etc. I must also add .. they've generally been pretty good with knowing their own inventory on the top of their head. Very organized!!! Okay let me know if any of you try the same drink!!

Interestingly enough, there aren't that many Starbucks locations in the Burnaby Heights area…read more There's also one in the Safeway across the street, but other than that, the next nearest one I can think of is on the other side of PNE. Parking is available in the strip mall, but every spot was full when I walked in. The inside is rather full of (SFU?) tapping away on their laptops. I decided to sit outside. Although it was raining, it wasn't too bad, mainly because we managed to grab the one table next to the propane heater. This heater isn't one of those portable propane tank models. It appears to get the propane from an underground pipe. So the moral of the story is, if it's cold, grab the middle table! The heater is unfortunately insufficient to warm any of the adjacent tables. You can thank me later. One last note: watch the steps by the patio entrances. We saw a guy take a spill on the way out. Other than that, the coffee is what you'd expect.
