I'm writing this review while in the drive thru line. I'm confident I'll get through it because this particular Starbucks is so incredibly slow and it's hard to know why. It's not any busier than any other location in a somewhat busy town, yet you can consistently plan on spending 10 minutes minimum in the drive thru staring at the back of someone's car wondering wtf they must have ordered to cause such delays. Then you'll see two drinks handed to them and that's it. I honestly don't come here very often because I don't want to waste the time. This location is losing business because they're so ungodly slow. Finally approaching the window next. What's crazy is I didn't even start writing this till a solid 5 minutes into my drive thru time. This Starbucks tried to humiliate me and my little brother in front of everyone in the store regarding a refill policy STARBUCKS CREATED...NOT US...so here's looking at you, Nathan. For anyone who cares: Starbucks' policy regarding refills is you have to get your initial order and enjoy it in the cafe. No matter what your initial *drink* order is: latte, iced coffee, tea, whatever, if you're a Starbucks rewards member and you enjoy your drink in the cafe, you are allowed refills of plain hot or iced tea/coffee ONLY. Not lattes or handcrafted drinks, but hot or iced coffee or tea. WITHOUT ASKING A MANAGER TO CLARIFY, Nathan shut my brother down when he asked for his. He told him he couldn't do it and walked away from his face to serve another customer. ON WHAT PLANET DOES THIS HAPPEN? So I then went up to the counter to claim my free iced coffee refill and when Nathan tried to pull it on me, I pushed back. The other employees behind the counter let it go on for awhile before FINALLY one of the lady employees said Nathan was wrong and she refilled my iced coffee. Thank you...but why was it allowed to go on for so long? Why make people feel like freeloaders for a policy STARBUCKS created? And why act like we were there all day taking from Starbucks when we simply asked for the ONE refill we deserved? I tried to show links of the policy online to Nathan and he shut me down again. So I called corporate. It gets worse: Corporate has reached out to the district manager to respond to me twice and I've been ignored. Save your money. Starbucks sales are failing anyway which is why they're trying so desperately to get people back. I chose to spend my money here and I was "slapped in the face"...go figure. Support small businesses. I needed some place to go between meetings. I ordered food and asked questions. The barrister answered them and was quite honest with me. The service was great and fast. I had to take a meeting within this location. I was able to setup my laptop and take my meeting. This location allowed me to eat, work, and relax. read more

This was my second visit to this Starbucks and I have to say what an Absolute Pleasure it was to meet Kristi. She greeted me at the Order Counter with a Beautiful smile and was So Friendly. She took my order and I took a seat watching others in this bustling restaurant chatting and enjoying their food and Drink ! Before I knew it My Sandwich was ready ! It was Delicious ! I sat and observed everyone employed there doing the best they could with the orders they were receiving Non-Stop ! The Drive-thru, On-Line Orders and Guests actually coming into the store ! It reminded me of 'Bees Buzzing' around doing their duties ! I even Noticed Kristi coming out from behind the order counter and Cleaning, Refilling and Straightening Up the Sugar/Milk/Supply Stand ! Uh-oh, my stars are about to expire. Gotta use them up. I got their yummy lemon loaf, I love it so much. With my star points it was free. They had samples of 2 different drinks, and i was in love. It was some caramel concoction. Very delicious. Happy with the service and happy with my drink. read more

Wait time exceeds 20 mins typically. Not a big sense of urgency. Not worth the time to go there.

Drive-through also available here. Location is beside the bank and sandwich shop. Parking is not as big as some other lots so it can get hectic on a busy weekend or morning. Although service is overall friendly, the orders tend to be wrong or forgotten. Wait times are long. If you pre-order, then I suggest you double check your order and don't show up early for it ;) This location has lots of cups and items should you want to redeem stars. Every time we visit this Starbucks drive thru the wait is at least 20-25 minutes. By the time we get to the window we always hear excuses from the person covering the drive up window. We're tired of waiting in the slowest moving lines ever .. even at the order board you wait .. then you wait again at the window and of course the waits for every single car. I've been at many other drive thru Starbucks and not had this issue. Management: get on this!!! read more

Got to love at Starbucks for your morning coffee! This location is very efficient and the drive-thru makes it an easy decision. The workers seem to be cheerful and work very hard and I admire that in any business and flavorful. The espresso adds an extra kick if you need to make sure you're getting 600 mg of caffeine in the morning. read more

The absolute worst Starbucks I have visited. It's always a mess inside, the wait is far longer than stated in the app and the drinks taste wretched. I don't know what is going on at that location, but the only reason it must remain open is that it's along a busy route. We pay far too much for their drinks for all of this to be wrong. They need to take notes from the location at 71 and Bee Cave Road just a few miles down the road. read more

I can't even begin to describe the fabulous Baristas at this location, but let's give an example : Finesse, one of the beautiful souls there ALWAYS greets me with a smile and a positive vibe! Remembers my personal drink order and professionally hands it to me personally! I can't say enough about the personal touch she and the other baristas show every day to make this store feel like our neighborhood meeting spot rather than just another corporate spot! It wasn't until I had already ordered and waiting in the drive thru line that I was able to read some of the reviews that earned this Starbucks the 1.5 star rating, and I say earned for a reason. This location is, in fact, super slow! They were also out of just about everything we tried ordering, so that added to the frustration. Looks like I should have jumped on the app and checked the inventory before going to the store. The reviews indicate app users are given preference at this location, so silly me for not using it. the problem with the rating on this place is people only write reviews when they have something negative to say. I can see all the Lakeway Karen's ran to Yelp to complain and moan. this location is the BEST. idc what Yelp says. I literallly go to this location VS the one by HEB because they are so fast, and so accurate. I swear the same drink I order here, taste better than when I order it anywhere else. they never get my order wrong and the staff has the best customer service. when I went to other locations it was a total shock. 10/10 recommend. read more

Extremely slow, but I've never had any issues. Honestly, they are busy, and with the pandemic, not everything is in stock. I do hate that I can't order ahead. I assume they disabled it for this location. However, this is Starbucks, and if I'm in a rush, I know not to stop here. Or, if I want coffee after dropping the kids off at school, I plan to spend 20 minutes in line. This location is very slow. I had to tell my order 3 times through the drive through and it was still made very wrong. The lady insisted that the order was correct at the pick up window but I didn't have time to waste. Now I have a $6 drink that is disgusting... I will say the staff at this location are super friendly and the coffee is always good, although a bit on the strong side. But, that's Starbucks in general. The new seating arrangement is horrible. It feels like sardines in a can, all lined up against the wall. You are almost shoulder to shoulder with someone and have zero privacy. They would do well with expanding this location & adding much needed space with more seating. read more

Nick is absolutely amazing! He has me memorized by name which is insane to me because of the amount of people that go through this starbucks daily. Everyday that I see him, he makes a genuine effort to have a meaningful conversation with me. I'm so grateful for that, especially in the mornings. It's good fuel for the day. This is the worst and unorganized Starbucks I've ever been to and I just moved here from Houston, so that's saying a lot. Every single time I've been here whether it's at 11 am, 4pm, 8am it's AT THE LEAST a 20 minute wait. What is the deal with our Starbucks??? I don't understand how it can be this bad...once again, I waited 20 minutes in the drive-through (but hey at least it was open today) to get two drinks and two cake-pops for my kids. Didn't notice until I got home mine was wrong. I asked for plain cold brew. Doesn't get any easier. But they gave me cold brew with sugar-free vanilla. Now last time this happened I called...rather than refund my money, they told me to ask the manager for a free drink next time. As if I'm going to even remember to do that?!? So here's another $5 down the drain because for whatever reason, our local Starbucks seems incapable of making good drinks in a timely fashion. I've never had such a terrible experience at a Starbucks. Very rude staff. I stood at the pick up area and waited for my drink. While I stood there waiting for 20 minutes, no one bothered to ask about me and what I was waiting on. When I asked about my drink, they found my cup wedged in between two of their machines, so my cup was being passed up and not seen by the staff operating the machines. I waited another 10 minutes before I got my drink. The manager gave an insincere half-assed apology with some attitude. I told her I waited 30 minutes, but she just rolled her eyes and walked away. read more

I came in yesterday at around 4:50pm and I can't remember the name of the baristas but they served my sister and I. They were so friendly and made the experience really great. Slow slow slow. High demand location with poor operation leads to a frustrating experience every time. Only way to get an OK experience is by doing mobile pick up but the location has been drive thru only for some time now. Only reason we go is do to the location, Starbucks please upgrade the management of this location! It could double its revenues if it simply had better operations. read more
